Haunted by the ghost of the full potential it could have had
The now removed from youtube conceptual trailer made to drum up attention and funding is one of the best trailers/short film in and of itself of all time for me. The creativity, cinematography, pacing, and comedic timing of the visual jokes are perfection. If the actual episodes was like it, then the show would be perfect too, but when the official trailer came out I could see that it wasn't as snappy and tight, but still excited to give it a chance. I really like how the show makes use of the ending credits to actually show case the status of the group with scenes that change along with the storyline. The design of the spirits as seen by all the living people is excellent, unrelentingly uncomfortable even it's revealed that the ghost was a good person or a good person all along. Kan's great, she's the only one with sensible character development. She bravely went against the privileged rich people that hurt her, her father, and her community. She's right to whistle blow about Home getting away with the hit and run. The only one to treat it with the severity of an issue that it is. She's also the person that saved Home's life. Suradech is pretty fun, they gave the poor guy one line when he answered Kan's question before passing out. It's a real missed opportunity to have him also gain abilities having almost died from poison.I enjoyed Peach and Home's friendship and it's the only roles of the main actors working together that I have enjoyed out of their filmography, but it was a huge unresolved issue that Home really hit Peach with a car and left him to die. Somkid covered it up, but Home really did that. It doesn't matter that Peach already forgave him after finding out once they are already friends. Home dragged out his apology and then there is nothing that comes of it. He has main character immunity and is the only one of his family to not have to pay for his crime. He's a privileged guy from the beginning to end. It's also feels like a huge chunk is missing that we never find out Chai-Un's beef with his family. He seems to be supposed to be a mirror to Home, but it goes nowhere. It's also really horrifying that Peach decided to serve Chai-Un, the man that he almost killed with his neglectful cooking last time, imitation peas that may or may not have been swapped with real ones based on the guess of Home. It's weird the show framed it as "trust" that Peach has for Home. The guy is just guessing! Peach is nice but does not take deadly allergies seriously and that's really bad for someone who wants to sell food to people. Pangpang has a problem, where she has no self control regarding money at all. She's the one that forced her and Peach to homelessness. She's also rewarded and she learns nothing. She treats Home having run over Peach and Peach demanding the minimum apology from Home like it's petty bickering. The man left her brother for dead and that's her attitude. There would be times the characters would make conveniently very stupid decisions to move the plot along. The poor writing moments seems at odds with a lot of well written moving moments of various guest or secondary characters like Thansai and Ride's tragically cut short love, Kan and her father's familial love, and the tragic lifelong misunderstanding between Somkid and his father. I wonder if perhaps there is an issue of not having enough time to flesh out the script of the series as it does have a very promising skeleton.

Parbdee, I will get you that Emmy!
Where to even begin describing how wonderfully written and executed this show was. I haven't been able to start and finish a GMMTV show since 23.5 and I am so glad that this is the one that finally stuck. I was hooked onto the music the second I heard it, and have been streaming it daily since it his Spotify. The first episode really pulls you in and you immediately get a feel and attachment to each of the characters. Home, Peach, Pang, and Kan are all so different from each other but make perfect sense together. TayNewMookJan did an amazing job as these characters and made me fall more in love with them each week. The storytelling and world building of this show is masterful and really gets into the core of what a TV show is supposed to be. As an aside, since the rise of streaming only shows, there's this energy where shows with 8-12 episodes just feel like a really long movie chopped into pieces with no rhyme or reason. Not with Peaceful Property. Each of the early episodes had a ghost story A plot and a Vimarsukan family drama B plot, and it kept me hooked week to week. Every ghost story A plot had me sobbing more than the previous week, I think the writers did a phenomenal job of balancing humor with more solemn concepts like grief and feelings of inadequacy in your own family.
Overall, this show is amazing and I need Parbdee to continue making visually amazing, well written comedies like this. I cannot recommend Peaceful Property enough.

Such a fun series to watch!
It's the first time for me to watch a comedy-horror series by GMMTV. I know Thailand is known for making great horror movies so I have a bit of high expectations. I have to say...I loved this series! The directing, acting and post processing is just perfect. Tbh, the series made me cry in most episodes. Still, great comedy and wow nice story! I highly recommend!Cet avis était-il utile?

And I thought nothing could top Cherry Magic TayNew, boy was I wrong!
I give up guys. I give up. I give up and I am bad down for TayNew chemistry. Regardless if it's a BL or not these two will always create magic on screen. And the production team was not playing either. The subtle shipping throughout the was playing with Polka hearts. The story, the acting, the cinematography, the execution of the plot in every episode is mind blowing. Perfect amount of jump scare and humour, excellent character design and bgm too. The vibrant pink, purple and slmy green colours added to the spooky vibe perfectly well.
One of the top series GMM produced this year. Hands down rewatachable and enjoyable.

What are you waiting for? Go watch it!
While writing this review, the rating is 8.6.Well deserved, if you ask me.
When this series was announced, I got immediately interested because I couldn't wait to see Tay and New in a series that isn't cringe and cheesy. I like those two actors, and their great chemistry, but I despise their soap opera productions they seem to focus on as a couple. I'm a bit tired of them playing the same stereotypical characters. I was craving for another dynamic.
And I got it.
I like New's character a lot in this series. The very first time I could witness his great acting talent. He outshined Tay, who also did a great job. Everyone did a great job. There was not a single bad actor to be found in this series.
Enough of the actors. What makes this series so great is the writing. It's honestly one of the best I have ever seen, not only from GMMTV, but in general. This is a series of ghost hunting with a bigger story that unfolds to the end. So we get a ghost hunt in every episode, and honestly, I still can't believe how they managed to make me so emotional in such a short amount of time. The writing, the cinematography, the acting was so superb, that you could feel the pain of those characters, even though their story was told in a single episode. With very little, they did so much. I had no idea that GMMTV was even capable of such great writing. Nothing was dragged out, we got many twists, the suspense was high until the end.
The messages were beautiful: this was about friendship, family, and love.
It was a very deep series.
Last but not least: the humor. It's worth mentioning. I really enjoyed it. It was never misplaced, the timing was on point, and it always lifted the mood.

ForceBook stole the show
Episode 7 is hands down the best thing GMMTV has ever created! It's a masterpiece! Force and Book seriously impressed me with their acting chops. I wish we could get more serious roles like this for them because Force's sadness was so intensely played and Book took on a unique role we haven't ever seen. 10/10 highly highly recommend!Cet avis était-il utile?

Character dynamics and heart-tugging writing
Coming into this show I was nervous just because I so desperately wanted this to be good. And I can say it has so far exceeded expectations. I have watched eps 1-4 and although I felt a small decline in ep 2 they roped me right back in with ep3 and 4 (not that ep 2 was bad it was just that ep 1 was SO good). Tay and New in a non BL dynamic honestly is so fun because I feel like rather than just focusing on them two we get to see them interact with others in a lot of interesting ways. Speaking of, Jan and Mook are absolutely brilliant in this. Both amazing actresses who deserve all the praise! The side characters are great too, from the main cast all the way to the guy who plays P’Suradech. Hilarious, emotional, and interesting- I look forward to seeing where this goes.
