Cute, But Not Much Else
As far as GL miniseries go, this one was cute and fun to watch (with plenty of kisses to make my heart happy). The characters were sweet and there was very little conflict, which can be nice to see. I'm not always a fan of miniseries, but this one did a good job in my opinion. But honestly, there was no real substance here. The characters were all one-note, and I found it hard to care about the relationship when it a.) moved so fast, and b.) there was nothing else in the show at all. Nothing in the characters' lives outside their relationship, and an almost comical amount of people just appearing onscreen because there was no world outside whatever was on screen at a time.
I'm glad we got this show, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a quick, cute show to watch-- but I'm hoping that one day we will have plenty of GLs that are better than this.

A cute romance with no major conflict.
This is a type of GL series that you can watch again and again without skipping an episode, and still feel the same excitement.Due to the office romance and boss-employee relationship, it’s understandable why this drama has drawn comparisons to the GAP series. But this series stands out in its own way. This drama is about searching for love and, by an odd chance, falling in love with someone you never expected. It captures the innocence emotions of young love.
The look and feel of this drama are light, fun, and pretty straightforward. Given that it’s just 5 episodes, it’s expected to be fast-paced, but I feel like the storyline is a bit rushed. I wish it could either stretch a little longer or written it more neatly, so that the plots could develop better, maybe by delving into why Khun Weala was afraid of love. That part seems to be hanging. The conflict is resolved too quickly, leaving no room for the audience to feel the tension. But nevertheless, each episode managed to make your heart flutter. Some romantic scenes are a bit cliché, but you kind of like them, especially in GL. Considering that this is Bmine and Near’s first series, I’d say it’s not bad at all. A lot can be improved, but there's nothing much to complain. They are a cute pairing on and off screen.

Empty with a side of cute
I was really excited for this drama to start airing and I'm honestly pretty disappointed with what we ended up getting. There was so much potential there and yet...But I am still a sucker for sapphic romances and for cute girls in general and this show delivers on both.
It may be shallow and somewhat rushed, but the story does feature several such genuinely sweet moments that I couldn't quite convince myself the show wasn't worth my time.
Hopefully this is just a forerunner for better future projects - I'm looking forward to a time where I can enjoy my lesbian content without bad scripts, short runtimes, or offensive trans stereotypes (seriously, what's up with those? neither trans women nor effeminate men exist solely for comic relief in other people's stories and it is insanely harmful so many shows insist on reducing them to these poorly written running gags) ruining the experience.

Cute but a little boring
The main couple are very cute with plenty of sweet affectionate scenes and almost no conflict so it's a good show if you just want to turn your brain off for a little while. That being said, the show feels incomplete and rather boring. It hinted at the potential of being good but unfortunately it never quite achieved it. It's too short and the plot wasn't thought through enough, with characters feeling two-dimensional and the conflict feeling very forced (and resolved within ten minutes).

All smiles, no substance...
Lucky My Love definitely deserve A for the effort and some consideration because it is one of the rare GLs out there. If we were to compare it to similar length web dramas, it keeps up with them. But, objectively speaking this is a badly written, acted and overall produced drama. It is an office romance. Napdao is so unsuccessful in love that she goes to tarot reader to get some insight into her future. At the same time a new team manager joins the office. Their boss and the new team manager start competing for Napdao's attention. Whom shell she choose?
This short web drama does not raise any issue (family and society acceptance needed?). They are both independent women and we do not know much about them or their background. The biggest problem here are the love triangle and misunderstanding, though due to the short duration, those problems were quickly solved. And of course there is the obligatory mildly screeching trans comic relief character. The drama is shallow, quick and forgettable.
The production is a low budget one but that is not important especially where these rare dramas are concerned. They should have concentrated more on writing and acting because they are both lacking. None of the actors could deliver the lines correctly (and the subs on youtube are really bad so it is not about the substance but the intonation). The actress playing Napdao has an infectious smile, she is very cute and when she smiles she lights up the room. Literally!
The producers of Lucky My Love need encouragement to continue to make better dramas: this one was a cute little romance but with no substance. Hopefully we'll see better things in the future.
