Let’s be honest, Cher has always been the boss

With all the body and role swaps that we got in Our Skyy 2, this one seems to make the most sense to me. Both with the plot and the way it is done. The two are not actually swapping bodies, which I am grateful for, nor are they switching personalities. Cher is simply trying to show Gun how his behavior affects those around him. And he went with the most Cher way to do so, of course.

I love the relationship between Gun and Cher. I never knew Cher had such a wild imagination, but I am living for it. And his friends trying his best to be supportive, but only ending adding fuel to the fire seems fitting. I do like the fact that Jack never complained to Cher about how Gun is at work, he is keeping work and private lives separate. And while it might affect him a lot mentally, he is still doing the right thing.

Seeing Cher boss Gun around is not really that surprising. I think that Cher was always the boss in their relationship, he has Gun wrapped around his finger. Not that Gun is complaining about it. He quite likes it. I really liked how different Cher and Gun were in their roles – Cher trying to be a strict boss but only coming across as adorable, and Gun trying to be a good intern but ending being a grumpy one. They stayed true to who they are, personality wise, so it really was an enjoyable watch.

Three and Zo are still adorable. Yuck! As Cher would say. Zo talking to Three with a big smile on his face while threatening him was so cute! And the fake argument that ended up with Zo really being upset, and Three chasing after them… Can we please get a full series with them? Look, it doesn’t even have to be anything heavy. I just want to see them all lovey-dovey together. That’s it.

If we really need to say goodbye to Gun and Cher, and I think this was the perfect way to do it. I couldn’t keep the smile off my face while watching the two episodes. There was a lot of really fun scenes - the not-intern Boom mumbling, Cher trying to disguise himself and accusing Gun of doing naughty things in the meeting room, the photocopy machine driving Gun crazy...

My review for each section of this series is based on the following criteria:
- Did it add anything to the original series
- Was there either an absence, advance, or regression of character/couple development
- Was the story concept interesting
- Script quality

I placed spoilers at the end of this review.

This section was consistent with some of the positive and negative aspects of the main series. It was cute and mostly enjoyable. However, once again the script was poorly developed. It also felt like a story regression. See the spoiler alert at the end of this review if you want more information. It seemed that the two episodes were meant to be part of the main series but was edited out because they wanted, or needed, another couple for Our Skyys 2. Yes, it was very cute to watch but it didn’t add anything to the main storyline.

******Potential Spoiler Alert******

The story concept for this section does not make sense. It would have if the script had written Gun’s management style in the main series similar to what was shown in this section. You briefly see it in the first episode but it quickly disappeared afterwards.

Why did we have to wait for this section to actually see Cher make one of his ASMR channel videos?

This is just Cher’s role-play fantasy come to life, and you cannot convince me otherwise

I definitely didn't have high hopes for this one, considering everything else the Our Skyy 2 writers have done so far. But to my surprise, I think this is my favorite part of Our Skyy 2 so far. That comes very unexpected, considering how I didn't like A Boss And A Babe all that much. But I'm pleased to say that these were two really enjoyable episodes.

The story opens with a scene of Cher being the boss, and Gun being the babe, or well, the intern. Immediately, two thoughts came to my mind: Either they’re pulling another parallel universe bullshit, or this is Cher and Gun role-playing. I was pretty much waiting for Cher to rip off Gun’s clothes, and then the scene cutting to actual Cher having a daydream. That didn’t happen though, and I was both relieved and disappointed at the same time. I’m glad it didn’t turn into another parallel universe storyline, like they did with My School President. But honestly, I would’ve laughed my ass off if they had just gone down the role-play pipeline. You could see that Cher was definitely enjoying himself, bossing around Gun for the second episode. They should've just committed to it. Especially with the end, were both of them agreed to give 5 orders to each other. Instead of Cher's cheesy last order of Gun loving him forever, he should've just been like "I order you to do whatever I tell you to tonight." The episode was screaming for that to happen, and you cannot convince me otherwise. Then again, I stick by what I said in my review of the original series, about Book and Force not having any sexual tension between them. So it would've probably felt awkward if that had actually happened. But still, it would've been funny.

Overall, the story was lighthearted, entertaining and cute. Gun and Cher actually make a really good pair in these two episodes. If you forget about all the stupid conflicts of the original series, they seem pretty perfect for each other. Sure, everything was overly simplified and they didn't have time to dive into the storyline very deeply. But it was fun and pretty damn wholesome. They didn't pull any plot lines of characters losing all their brain cells like the Vice Versa episodes, they didn't pull a character annihilation like the Eclipse episodes did with Aye, and thank god, they didn't pull another parallel universe out of their asses like the My School President episodes. This was easy to enjoy and had plenty of comedic moments. They definitely leaned more into the comedy than throwing just pure cringe at us (cough Star In My Mind episodes cough cough), which I was very fond of. Considering on how cringey of a note A Boss and A Babe ended, I was fearful I wouldn't be able to stomach this. But to my surprise, it had just the right amount of cuteness mixed in with the silly storyline. I did see my life flash before my eyes though, when Aoi suggested, Cher should call Gun by an endearing nickname, like 'daddy'. I'm so thankful Cher didn't follow that advice, or I don't think I could've watched this without being in permanent, cringe-induced pain.

I also want to point out that Book did a really great job in this. I've always liked him as Cher. But him acting as Cher acting like the boss was phenomenal. He still portrayed the original character so well, even while pretending to be someone else.
Force was still great in the role of the boss, too. Actually, I really enjoyed Gun in these two episodes. He showed much more of the behaviour that I would've liked to see in the original series - being stern, cold and scary. It would've been great if this was the Gun we had been met with in A Boss And A Babe, but sadly, that didn't happen.

All in all, I really enjoyed watching this. It wasn't anything impeccable or extremely creative. But it fit the vibe of the original show, and it was an easy watch. I'd probably even watch this again someday, if I need a laugh. It does feel like a bit of a fever dream in certain moments, but it's definitely the right amount of silliness for these characters. Nice job.

Role Swap? Yes and yes!

I laughed throughout the entire show, like really out loud. It's SO funny...the humour isn't cringy or goofy, its just really funny.

I love the idea of role swap (instead of body switch). It adds freshness into the storyline and character.

They are one of my favorite couples in the "Our Sky" series. Honestly, I didn't finish watching "boss and babe" as I got fed up by the storyline in the last 2 or 3 episodes.

But, as a couple, I really love them, it's just a more realistic healthier depiction of couple. They try to understand each other, and learn from one another. Although Cher is younger, he is constantly inspiring and teaching P'Gun and vice versa. This makes it so different than the typical school BL romance which is often just childish with no depth lol...

One last important point, did I mention that P'Gun is just so handsome? lol

The Boss is Back

Starting this drama, I had a moment of dread thinking they were going with a body swap story or even another alternate universe a la MSP. However, I was pleasantly surprised when that was not the case. This is more along the lines of what I was hoping for with My Skyy 2. Not ridiculous story lines, not deciding to throw in magic and alternate universes and other gimmicks, but getting to see a continuation of our leads lives and their stories without a whole lot of drama. These episodes served that for me. It wasn't over the top, there wasn't a ton of drama, it was just fun and light hearted comedy. Considering that I wasn't a huge fan of the drama, I wasn't sure what to expect from this, but it was worth watching.

One of the biggest problems I had with the drama was the almost complete lack of sensical plot. It went all over the place, achieving nothing. Here though, there was a clearly defined plot and it worked pretty well. The focus on getting Gun to understand that he didn't have to be so overbearing and harsh towards his employees and that work is for work hours allowed us to get to know the characters better, Gun especially. It also allowed for some genuinely comedic moments with Cher acting as the boss and Gun as the intern. And while it doesn't really reference anything that happened from the drama, I found that to be a positive considering so much of it was nonsense.

Character wise, I liked getting to know Gun better, his way of thinking and perceiving people and actions. I would have liked to delve a little more into what exactly drove him to be such a workaholic, but the short time frame didn't allow for that. I also appreciated getting to know Cher more. He's more perceptive than you would think and sometimes his antics can make one forget that he's actually pretty smart. While that's not shown extensively here, he does have his moments to show that intelligence. And the length he went to both to help Gun destress and show him that he needed to be more attuned to his employees feelings and needs showed how much he cared. It was very wholesome to see. And of course he got to have fun bossing his boyfriend around and getting to be the boss for a day, but it's pretty clear Gun doesn't really mind. I also enjoyed the return of Cher's friends, especially Three and Zo. That scene with them pretending to fight was pretty entertaining. The group's friendship was one of the positives from the drama and it remained so here. The fact that they were so supportive of Cher, even agreeing to his ridiculous plan, just showcased that they're the kind of friends everyone should have.

The acting was solid. Again the romantic chemistry between Force and Book is nil, but except for the end, I didn't miss it. Their buddy chemistry worked for a couple that had been together for some time and the few sweet moments between them were actually almost genuinely sweet, probably because they were so innocent. They both turned pretty wooden though there at the end with that final kissing scene. Everyone else did a good job and it was fun to see so many returning from the drama.

I think this addition to My Skyy 2 is my favorite thus far. It was pretty much what I was hoping for from the entirety of the series and I have my fingers crossed that they won't annihilate Bad Buddy or Thousand Stars and will stick to this formula. I enjoyed the fact that these episodes were more than just pure fluff, they actually had some depth to them. It was a good way to conclude their story and it seems fitting that they're sent off with a dash of humor.

it was really a very good plot

The plot was intriguing and much needed for Gun and Cher's relationship. Role reversal Gun and Cher as Intern and Boss. Because they have different personalities, it helped them understand each other better, especially Gun, who can comprehend his employees better. Cher can understand the difficulties and responsibilities of being a CEO/boss. They still have a long way to go. The chemistry is Force and Book as Gun, and Cher/Laem was top-notch. Cher's jealousy towards the new intern shows how much he loves him. The whole episode was humorous because of Jack and Aoi. The cast and crew did an outstanding job with their characters. Zo and Thee were cute and deserved their series. I loved every aspect of this series.

I LOVE IT SO MUCH! First, I have opinions about AB&AB as a series, but, talking about the Our Skyy specifically, IT WAS VERY GOOD! Cher (Book) as always so cute and sweet, the best boy in the world, and Gun (Force) is heels down for him.

Actually, the Gun behavior here makes more sense than his behavior on AB&AB, now I'm really seeing a strict CEO, in the series he was described like that but he wasn't at all.

I love the plot, and the storyline, it was well done! They only have 2 episodes to make it work and they did it! I watched these Our Skyy 2: Star in My Mind, The Eclipse, My School President and this one, and AB&AB was the best of them (IDK about the others that I didn't watch until now). It was really, yk, makes sense with their story and dynamics. Shout out to the produce team and cast!

It's a cute, funny, and adorable sequence to AB&AB, I didn't like the series soo much but I loved the characters, and I will miss my Nong Cher so much :( He is really such a fluffy ball. I'm in love with him.

Interesting

**Brief Synopsis**
B (Freelancer): Cher
T (CEO): Gun

- Beginning: The sorry takes place some time after the series end. B and T have been together for some time with T moving in to live with B. From the beginning, we could see that the honeymoon stage was over as the love between them was more subdued. Now the focus was back on daily life rather than their relationship. T is still the CEO and has gone back to his extremely strict self, something B was surprised to see because T usually didn’t act that way in front of him. The story starts when the company’s employees tell B that T was going too far and there are employees wanting to quit.

- Middle: B tries to get T to relax and no matter what he does, it doesn’t seem to work. Finally he gets the idea of becoming CEO for the day so that T can understand what his employees are feeling. Throughout that day, B tries to act as T-like as possible, and T experiences being scolded and being ordered around. He then learns how to better deal with his employees.

- End: The series end with T apologizing to the employees and thanking B for keeping him on track. He then tells B he’s not only his lover but his life partner.

**My Opinion**

WHAT I LIKED ABOUT IT:
- I love B and T’s interactions. They are so funny. And I love T going along with B’s craziness. Even if T looks as if he is constantly questioning B’s sanity, he still do whatever B tells him to do. This is how they show affection.
- The exchange places plot is pretty funny. Seeing T having to take a bike because B took his car was really interesting. Later seeing T struggling to do basic office stuff (things he hasn’t done for a long time) is really funny.

WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE ABOUT IT:
- This plot, while interesting, is something that could only appear in fanfic or novels. In real life, it just won’t work. For example, we can see that B as CEO spent his entire day playing games. T has been saying how busy he was. If B doesn’t do anything that day, he would have to catch up on the work later. Also what normal employee would have the courage to order their boss around. Even if the boss tells them he won’t get revenge later, they still wouldn’t dare.
- There was a distinct lack of intimacy between B and T. This is realistic because the honeymoon phase is over and they don’t need to be constantly all over each other to show affection. Besides, T is under a lot of pressure at work, which means he doesn’t have too much time for love. Like other stories in this special, the focus has gone back to life’s struggles instead of relationship troubles. Although I am disappointed, I do not count it as something the series didn’t do well.

**Conclusion**
It’s really nice to see the couple once again.

Switched !

I absolutely adore the origin; hence I mostly definitely enjoyed these two episodes as well.

Someone once said, "One way to know someone is to get in their shoes~" more or less; and they did exactly that! Which is a nice story line. Whats more, Cher gets to living his dream of role play. Cute!

There weren't any intense drama and merely silliness and goofing around between friends and colleagues. Their chemistry together has always been the best which is why they delivered the story perfectly! And the key in this drama is Communication! If someone is wrong, tell them. If you're uneasy, say! Sometimes a boss forgets the limits of working.

WAY BETTER THAN THE SERIES!

UM HELLO??????? WHY DO I FEEL THAT THIS 2 EPISODES MUCH BETTER THAN THE WHOLE SERIES??????? WHAT THE HELL!!! I just love them so much! ❤️ The plot is very well execute and I love the idea that they switch role and HAHAHAHHAHA FORCE IS SO ADORABLE!!! Can we just admit how fine he looks and how good he is playing Gun as cold and stoic? Cher’s character is not as annoying as in the series so I love how the story unfolds by itself. There is no cringe or plain scenes cause everything is so damn funny that I ended up watching without skipping! XD anyway, still a better episodes than the whole series!
