I confess that I have never read nor am I interested in Omegaverse stories, so Pit Babe was a series that I had a lot of resistance to start with. The plot itself has something interesting. The actors are charismatic and have a lot of chemistry, but the development of the story doesn't work. There are two series here. The first half is a racing series and the second half is a fantasy thriller. But this whole plot involving fantasy is absurdly flawed.
There is no worldbuilding here. The series does not explain or explore what an Alpha, an Omega or an Enigma is. The story also doesn't care about the repercussions or impacts that beings with powers would have on the world.
The villain and his motivations are so caricatured that he doesn't convince me (he spends the entire series beating Kenta and telling him to bring his "children" home without ever taking any action other than sabotaging race cars) and the entire plot is sustained by kissing scenes, poor dialogue, an excess of unnecessary characters and easy resolutions.
Practically everyone here is Chen's adopted son. And when you realize the number of "children" he let run away from his house it just makes this whole arc of his persecution lame.
The characters are very shallow and don't have much to offer. The one who suffers most from this is Charlie, whose only personality is to smile and run after Babe. Even their relationship happens so unnaturally and quickly that it becomes dull. They have good chemistry, but there is no construction of their relationship.
Babe starts the series saying that his powers are everything to him, but he has no reaction when he discovers that Charlie stole them. Another highlight here is Charlie's fake death. It's a very impactful scene, but the whole revelation of the "plan" is anticlimactic and the reason for it is simply stupid.
There is potential in the plot, but it never arrives. It's a simple story that they try to sell as a thrilling action fantasy. But we never see the usefulness of these powers and the whole plan to defeat the villain is by exposing his crimes and exchanging gunfire.
There is no threat or sense of urgency here. It's not like the villain were about to do something terrible that they need to act immediately. Every time a character is arrested he escapes in the simplest way possible. There are no real repercussions for anything they do a the action scenes are shamefully directed.
And the most impressive thing of all is how a high-budget series like this has terrible cinematography. There is not a single beautiful shoot here. A shaky camera, bland lighting and ugly framing is all we have.
And let's not forget the plot twists. One worse than the other. Charlie's secret intentions at the beginning? Tedious. Way revelation as an Enigma? It serves no purpose in the plot other than creating drama. Charlie's fake death? More drama. Kenta and Pete's relationship? It's there for a reason that only the screenwriters know.
And Way's death? Another failed attempt to create an emotional scene that doesn't work because there was no reason for him to throw himself in front of the bullets.
It's a series that doesn't know whether it wants to be a hot racing drama or an action series with powerful beings. Weak characters, amateur cinematography, a script full of conveniences and poor world and plot construction.
It had the potential to be an incredible series, but it falls into a lazy narrative, without really daring to create a different and bold plot. It's a little too long to be good entertainment, but it's not a difficult series to watch if you don't care about the script.

high ambitions leads to great disappointments
The show relies heavily in unrealistic characters, weak relationships, a messy action-like storyline and steamy bed scenes. There’s always too much and nothing going on at the same time. Characters lack development, leaving their actions and relationships hard to believe. The primary issue lies in the lack of explanation for characters' decisions and personality changes, leaving them feeling unreal as the plot progresses. The attempt at mystery is lately revealed to be just a poorly written script, which makes challenging to predict and understand their reactions and decisions.
The script's poor quality is evident in the abrupt shift in Babe's personality, abandoning his playboy image without sufficient justification for becoming so attached and loving to Char. This resulted in a pure wast of potential of Pavel amazing acting. Also, him accepting that Charlie stole his so precious powers is unbelievable. Babe lived for this, it was part of whom he was, not a disposable fact. His looks and his talent are both a true gaze for sore eyes, but still can’t make up for the show’s sudden sifts of scenes and lack of further information.
The lacking of development of facts and lack emotional depth is so evident that it’s even noticeable in intimate scenes. The scenes are undeniable intense (and honestly that’s were Pooh’s acting is at it’s best) but the steaminess is not sufficient to uncover the lack of explanation for their feelings, so to my eyes it seems just s*x and not love. What’s more logical to think is that there’s no affection, just attraction, where the audience must fool themselves to think the contrary.
While Pavel and Pooh do look good together, the script fails to help me support their coupling, making it look just as a relationship based on one moment feelings. Despite the amazing acting from Pavel and Nut, the series disappoints, relying on steamy scenes rather than a compelling storyline (this and actors looks is what makes this series so popular). Way and Babe's actions are so irrational and inconsistent as the rest of the show, betraying and simply destroying the characters' personalities and motivations. Overall, the show falls short of expectations, leaving me unsatisfied.
Way's forced kiss on Babe is particularly absurd and unbelievable considering his affectionate, caring and supporting personality for years portrayed until episode 9, leaving me thoroughly shocked and disappointed. It’s an attempt of a turning point that’s (again) hard to believe because the basis for this were not presented. It’s a show of throwing facts.
Being very honest, the series' high points are the steamy bed scenes and the chemistry between the leads, period. Despite admiring Pavel and Nut's talent, I find it unfortunate that their abilities are not showcased in better-scripted shows and roles. They deserve better.
ABO, mafia, human tr*f*cking, trauma, racing, family issues, playboys… A show extremely ambitious for addressing so many topics with none to zero development or explanation, leaving me lost and uninterested. It’s not that every show needs to me depth to be good, but that’s what this series attempted to do and didn’t, resulting in some insane mess.

A hot mess
Along with many others I’ve been waiting for this one. I’ll later provide maybe a link to a tiktok I saw of Pavel’s audition, but it got me hooked right away. This series so far has a lot of eye candy and that’s what I like about it. Pavel has enough charisma to bleed me dry, he is so good looking and honestly I love how he takes this character of a playboy and does it so unapologetically. His chemistry with Pooh is also insane. I can’t quite imagine doing thing alien that with someone with all these cameras, but they make it feel real and intense.
Only one episode is out so that’s pretty much it. I am worried with some splicey editing and am also worried about how other side characters might dilute the main couples storyline. Right now there isn’t too great of a storyline other Babe needing Charlie to enhance his senses.
I What could improve is the structure of the story and developing characters and who they are. You could explain what the omega stuff is if you are going to keep it, and I honestly wish they went the route of playing it off as a ‘jinx’ that Babe has. He is better at racing when he sleeps with someone, and simply has a no kissing rule. They could’ve then explored the relationship further from there. Change what needs to be changed, take out what doesn’t fit for a series, make it better. KinnPorsche did this really well for me and I see that this series could’ve done something like that where they take out the problematic things or the things that you can do without. Again you keep that Babe needs to sleep with someone, just change the reasoning from him being an alpha, and make it a jinx of his, like a superstition.
I feel this BL will be really popular for the storyline and how it’s executing its intense scenes. That will get this the most hype, those scenes impressed me honestly and the jumps that cut in those scenes particularly I think are there for a reason. I think Babe and Charlie don’t get love each-other so their se* isn’t that intense emotionally so you don’t need to see that part? Their relationship runs itself thin pretty quickly. It’s because Charlie has little to no backstory, and I guess his dull personality is due to him being locked up for years? And he’s Babe’s step brother?
The whole idea of selling children is disturbing and could be interesting if I understood in the first place why someone needs a kid with superpowers. I get that it’s cool.. but do they use them for what? For racing to get money? No? I don’t know. I don’t know why racing is even involved. If you think about the plot lines (I can’t find the main plot there are so many things happening) it doesn’t add up. Why does Babe’s adoptive father get involved with racing, it only seems to be for Babe to get him back because he’s a special alpha.. but then he’s not so special because of the plot twists.
There are plot twists after plot twists. I know adaptations can be well done, this story as a whole seems to be forced into one drama that isn’t cohesive. The pieces of the contract relationship to a lover, then an underground selling of children because of powers? Then Babe losing his powers? I think that was when the show fell off for me. They had this moment that fell right on its face for me.
Charlie and Babe are the main relationship of the show, and the side couples I was never interested in unfortunately. The main couple isn’t even one I like together. Visually and chemistry wise they are great, but logically- no. Charlie is a guy that is pretty manipulative and acts and talks like he knows what Babe goes through and he has all the answers, when he really doesn’t. He stole Babe’s powers because Babe was being targeted as someone that could have a child? A child from him is better than his powers I guess? That was out of no where, I thought they wouldn’t lean into this whole alpha omega thing too heavily because they didn’t even explain it to the audience.
Charlie didn’t ask for Babe’s consent to steal his powers. Because the whole time Charlie thought he had no powers… he actually had the power to steal powers .. and I think the way he did that was getting close to Babe? And he wants to protect Babe and therefor took his powers. The thing that gets me is Babe strives off of racing and his attitude is he is the best and doesn’t need powers to race. Yet when they are gone he lets Charlie take his place as a racer???? Charlie has never raced and logically and financially it makes no sense… but I really have to dumb myself down I guess for this.
They could’ve had something cool with the whole racing scene. Shown how famous Babe really is and put him in a setting other than a few here and there. Have people see and react to him and have merchandise or whatever. Instead lots of races happen in the same place and you don’t see anyone watching other than a handful.. so the whole extravagance of Babe being famous is lost. Babe and his trust with Charlie makes me feel bad because Charlie does things without asking and lies, and why does he like Babe so much?
So now I’m lost. Where a lot is happening I am uninterested because there is no heart with the script. There is with the acting and mainly Pavel. Yet the emotional depth doesn’t reach me because I find all of this so hard to believe. There is only so much disbelief I can have in a drama. For this one it had me for a few but now I see it’s really just lazy writing and shock value. It’s too bad because Pavel is so good at acting here and clearly cares for who is portraying. He has me thinking about his character beyond what he says or the script gives. Like why he thinks the way he does or how he must be feeling.
It’s a shame that they couldn’t cut off some corners here and there with the alpha/omega plot they so desperately want to keep.
Watch for visuals and if you like racy scenes here and there. Don’t watch if you want something to make sense or if you want a heavy emotional story. Even if you want shock value, I wouldn’t lower my standards and watch this beyond Pavel. Watch Only Friends for the shock value, watch this and skip is the best way to go.

This series is totally worth watching
I'm writing this review not just because I love it but because of the rating which is currently 7.6, however it definitely deserves more rating...I don't know why people are being negative about this, but I'm loving it, i watched all 13 epis and re-watched few epis which is very rare for me to do especially during ongoing
Firstly Pitbabe and Charlie has great chemistry, but if people can't see it then something is wrong with them (sorry for being rude) because I have seen people saying that Pitbabe has more chemistry with Way... Like what?! You can't be biased just because you people watched his previous series, it doesn't make any sense, for this plot Charlie is the right choice be it as a role or as an actor and I feel this is the uniqueness of this plot...
Unlike other series, this one broke the stereotypes or usual standards which are continuing from years, people are so used to it that now they're complaining about this drama without understanding or realising the beauty of it
Charlie being the Top and Babe being the bottom is what I call the plot twist and unique, even though Charlie is younger, looks kinda soft and innocent but it doesn't mean he is actually weak, he proved how strong he is for multiple times
And just because Babe is strong and special doesn't necessarily mean he can't be a bottom..
Now what I like about this series is naturally the plot, scenes, cast, chemistry, music and cinematography.. it's all so well made.. the suspense it held is so interesting and exciting...
The only flaw is that they should've given some explanation or background details about werewolves in fantasy world (like what Alpha, beta, omega and Enigma means) because I have come across some comments where people have problem understanding this.. Afterall not everyone read comics or fictional novels, so the only fault I found from this series is the lack of explanation about this one topic, However a lot viewer's are trying their best to explain it those who doesn't understand this concept which shows how happy and excited they're, so in my opinion it's so good and worth watching
I finished watching the series and liked it very much, true that I felt a little bad for Way in the end but still I'm satisfied with the ending they gave to others, atleast they included many roles and scenes for other characters which were not there in novel which is already a very good thing in my opinion
I hope people give it a chance and try to understand it, if such series doesn't gain more ratings and reviews (recognition) then I'm afraid they will hesitate to make such great plots which is a loss for the people who loves to watch various type of concepts...

Love Pavel, but sadly horrible series did not tell a very good story.
I will start with the fact I have always loved Pavel, he is an amazing actor since 2 Moons 2. He did an amazing job in this series. The book is amazing, however, for me, I did not like the series too much at all. Pooh, I have to say I am not a fan of his acting or the character he showing. I do not feel the chemistry as much as everyone believes. He is a good actor, but this role and the pairing just did not work. The storyline was love on the Racetrack, which I liked to start with but the 2 alpha thing does not play out well. You can see Babe is more Alpha the Chalie and they keep making no sense especially when it's always been Alpha and Omega type of universe. The whole power transferring and all the in-between drama was not playing right for me. Everything felt rushed and not at all put together right, The storyline was not explained and you can see some moments made no sense. It sadly does not show growth in the character's development and at times things were not believable toward the actions. This series just was not at all making sense and did not flow right. The side cast was great but wish they had more explanation for them as well. I look forward to seeing Pavel in something better. P.S. I really hate the Mommy and Daddy calling it does not fit the characters and makes it sound horrible. Even outside of the series Pavel hates the mommy naming and wants to be called Daddy and he is a very good Daddy.Cet avis était-il utile?
Pleasantly Surprised
I think "pleasantly surprised" may even be an understate but I don't know what other phrase I could use to explain my feelings on this series. I never saw myself watching and enjoying an omega verse series but here we are. I even dropped the series at one point because I thought it wouldn't be my thing but I am very glad I decided to pick it back up and finish it because the series just got better and better, even the final episode was good which is a rare thing when it comes to bls. The writing was amazing and nothing felt forced in there. I was so into the story that I kinda lost interest in Babe and Charlie's relationship but didn't dislike them together at any means. When it came to relationships I only had one thing that I was disappointed in which was North and Sonic. I was waiting for them to officially get together because of how much they were hinted at but they never established what their relationship was, for now I'll just assume that they get together in the future. I also enjoyed Jeff and Alan which was surprising because I'm not really a fan of age gap relationships, maybe it's because Alan doesn't really look that old so it didn't throw me off. Overall a very good series that I never thought I would enjoy.Cet avis était-il utile?

FastFurious + Not Me + OmegaVerse
Everyone in X Hunter is cute & hot af! I really love this team and the racing scenes make it exciting to watch. It's really a fresh take on BL and I appreciate that.I know Way is supposed to be the "bad guy" & I don't agree on how he manipulated Babe, but really love Way. I can feel Way's love for Babe since episode 1. There's something about Way (probably it's Nut's acting skills) that just made me feel his sincerity towards Way. I love whatever "best friends" dynamics Babe Way has. It feels REAL, like I can feel they are close, tight bond and they love each other, although in a different way. For this reason, I really love Way and I cried so much in last episode
In contrast, BabeCharlie.... I feel Babe is dating a puppy or sth. The way charlie acts cute, to me, is more irritating than cute and don't even get me started on the papa/mama thingy, lol. Even then, I still don't dislike Charlie, until I see how he was hiding so much things from Babe!!! I especially felt betrayed when he absorbed Babe's power without Babe having a clue. That made him not much different than Way. BabeCharlie is my least shipped couple, seriously.
I came to know and love Pavel throught PitBabe. He has such a charming eye that would melt you everytime he stares at you, and he is a great actor too. I'd be curious to see him with another pairing, to see how it might work out.
Now, NC scenes are real good except that they seem to give us 89%...it was hot and then they would cut the scene like 10 seconds too early or sth! Ugh! But, the NC scenes for the 2nd couple is pretty dope though.
I'm totally having 2nd lead couple syndrome here. I am rooting for Uncle and Jeff the WHOLE TIME. I'm glad the focus shifts more towards them near the end to balance out the dynamics and pacing of the show. Also, am i the only one who thinks Uncle is so cute?!
I honestly feel this could have been a 10/10 show, even one i'd rewatch, if they had change charlie character, lol. I've nothing against the actor, it's the character itself that I'm talking about here
Overall, I'd still say I enjoy the show...Look, I'm at at point that I'd take any non-school BLs, so, to me, this is still cool

Overall a good, imaginative BL, but ending a little sloppy
Taken at face value, Pit Babe appears to be yet another BL fuelled by s3x and pretty boys. But it’s not as formulaic as one would expect for a BL involving racing. What I like about Pit Babe is that nothing is ever as it seems. The story is permeated with a constant sense of danger and uncertainty, given the many unknowns at play.
As a rival racing club gains ground and Babe’s testy relationship with his adoptive father worsens, the story takes fun twists and turns around various characters, whose special powers are slowly revealed.
The Pit Babe universe is imaginative and original, but it is unfortunate that the ending was sloppy and rushed. The conflict was resolved a little too easily, and the scene in the final episode between Way and Babe certainly did their relationship a disservice.
The sizzling relationship between Babe and Charlie was what I stayed for. While there was a side couple, I'm sure most would agree that the BL was hard carried by Pavel (what a glow-up!!!) and Pooh.
Babe and Charlie, played by Pavel and Pooh respectively, have great chemistry. The casting was on point for the characters, they seemed genuinely comfortable with each other. This is peak Pavel!!!

I Wanted SO MUCH to LOVE THIS...
Omegaverse. I'm barely familiar but I'm a huge fan of Pavel since his days as the 2nd Forth in the sh*t show that was the 2 Moons 2. Don't get me wrong 2 Moons wasn't a bad series per se but it's production company was the actual sh*t show but I digress this isn't about 2 Moons.Quite honestly when I heard about this and Pavel being it's star I was thrilled because his initial return to BL fell so short. (Sorry, Coffee Melody) I thought Pavel finally gets his chance to shine again. Because quite frankly the man is a star.
However for me, the pairing was like Coffee Melody and Pavel and Pooh just didn't fit for me. The chemistry was there I guess but yet it wasn't. The deluge of senseless side characters that was on and off that I couldn't like nor hat's because they came and went then came again.
Unlike the masses I couldn't get on board with the Alan/Jeff. It just seemed I don't know creepy in away. Kinda sorta inappropriate like on Absolute Zero when Adult Suansoon romanced Teen Ongsa. I don't know maybe it was just me. So I dropped it somewhere around Episode 9 or 10.
I just want Pavel to shine. I wasn't a fan of all the recast of 2 Moons 2 but I wish all of them the best in moving on from Motive Village. It was so long ago but Din, Ben, Joong, Dome and Pavel (Nine seems to have gone a different direction and if he's happy I'm happy for him) deserve to shine with reputable companies behind them.
This just wasn't it for me but plenty people loved it so Pavel shined for them and that at least makes me happy for him.

Heard there will be a second season of this, so before I watch that, let’s dive into this 1st season…Story about Babe, race car driver who change s*x partner likes changing clothes. Haha… One day comes Charlie, who wants to be a racecar driver but he doesn't have a racecar of his own. So Charlie come to Babe to borrow his car in exchange for s*x. Amused by how brave Charlie is, Babe accept the offer & they officially become s*x partner.
The deeper in the series we also learn that this is not only about racing cars. But also about kids / people with special abilities. Babe has this special ability, his hearing is more sensitive than other people. Babe had a foster father, Tony Chen, Tony had collected & trained all special kids for a long time & all those kids called him dad. Babe at first feels grateful for Tony, to give him shelter, food & all the love & care. But later on Babe learned Tony is the reason his real father abandoned him & Tony also exploited Babe special ability for Tony's own gain, that pissed Babe, so he ran away from Tony grab.
But Tony did not just stay still. After so many years (they don’t tell us how many years) Babe ran away from Tony’s house. Now Tony finally decided to chase after Babe. Tony enters the race car business by investing in Babe’s no 1 competitor & trying every means to make Babe return to him, even with dirty tricks. How will Babe & all his friends fight against Tony & all nasty things he did…?
That’s pretty much the story, without giving away all important spoilers… Unfortunately this drama has too many stupid plot holes that sometimes just makes me laugh while watching…. Nothing much about what I like.
What I like:
+ Pavel Naret Promphaopun as Babe.
+ S Vorarit Vaijairanai as Tony Chen
+ The cute second couple Alan & Jeff. Although their story is also stupid. But I quite like their story.
+ The dirty business behind sport & the ambitious people that will do anything for the trophy or the change, like Winner & Dean
+ Kim, he’s one sportive man that acknowledges Babe as his rival.
What I don’t like:
- How combustible Babe. He really doesn't like to hear any excuses from people.
- Pooh Krittin Kitjaruwannakul as Charlie. I don’t know it just feel Charlie is so stupid. They want to give the impression that Charlie is a naive man, but I don’t get that vibe from Pooh himself.
- The story of Alan & Jeff. It is just like Alan falling in love with Jeff out of nowhere, it feels like that’s the script so they just go on with the plan.
- Seeing so d*mn many special people around Babe, until it just felt stupid.
- Everyone feels intimidated by Babe's ability.
- They don’t really explain to us the level of the special kids are… Like Babe special Alfa, Pete as Enigma. What the hell is Enigma…?
Below I'll write a little bit about the stupid plot hole that I notice. But that also means SPOILER ALERT!!! So read it at your own risk!!!
==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================
The plot holes:
- Tony’s house is filled with many kids with special abilities that Tony considers important & precious, yet the security really makes me laugh. It is like every person that is being held captive so easy to walk away from that property…. Like how Babe ran away from home, in the flashback we also see how Pete also just ran away or how Jeff ran away later on. See… that’s so easy…
- People so stupid yet so lucky. Several times what Sonic & North did is just plainly stupid, but they are important characters, so the writer decided to save them just at the last second.

Overwhelming emotions with steaming heat, just the 'perfect match' ?
PitBabe was a turbulent ride with all the heat, fun, tears, and overwhelming emotions; it definitely wasn't a regret. The cast did an amazing job, as if they were made for the roles. Everything was portrayed just the way it should have been. Plus, I loved the omegaverse theme. I never read the novel, so everything was fresh to me. I loved how all 12 leads were tied up by the end. However, there are certain things that I think could have been shown.1. The last episode shouldn't have been the final one. I believe the entire climax of defeating Tony should have been a bit longer, at least one more episode. Babe, Charlie, and the others, along with Uncle Reval, should have plotted something, where Kenta could have the final word. Then they could have followed with the entire death scene.
2. Way's death was not well-written. I understand that Way died in the novel, so they decided to kill him in the series too. But there are things that should have been paid attention to. Way was an Enigma, the highest tier in the omegaverse, and a single bullet was enough to kill him. The entire time the boys were holding him and crying, he could have been taken to the hospital, or at least the attempt should have been made. His death turned out to be just an unnecessarily stretched scene.
3. Babe should have confronted Charlie. Even though Babe might forgive Charlie later, there should have been some conversation about Charlie's fake death. Charlie should have been given a chance to make up to Babe for all the tears the latter cried. The entire plan, along with Jeff's foreseeing the future, should have been discussed. Everything was very rushed.
4. A closure to Uncle Reval's project. They just completely left off his entire mission of looking for a chemical to cancel out the special senses. Even if not a success, some progress should have been shown. Plus, does Babe even know what his dad has been up to all these years?
5. What happens to Kenta and the other kids of the foundation? Probably this could be covered in case they decide to come up with another season.
There are a few more tidbits here and there, but these are the ones that bothered me the most. As a whole, PitBabe is a pretty great watch, definitely worth your time.
P.S., It's a bit of my guilty pleasure, but I wanted some scenes from Alan's racing era, the time before he built X-Hunter.

Give Pavel everything he wants in life, he deserves it all
This is my favorite Thai BL of all time, and Pavel is my favorite Thai BL actor, I love Pooh too but Pavel has range, he can go from playing bad boy Fourth with a heart of gold in 2 Moons 2, sensitive cutie pie Pleng in Coffee Melody, to breaking our hearts as Babe in Pit Babe. I don't know what awards are giving but he needs them all.First off, Omegaverse is not for everyone, however, it's definitely for me, I love the concept and I like that they made a series about it, now just like anything else, this could've ended up bad but it was so good. I look forward to every episode even though some broke me more than others (Episode 10), that's the point of a good show. If a series can bring out so many emotions within one episode, and make you feel like you know the characters personally and the pain they are going through, I think that is a good show.
I also love anything with racing in it and a good plot with just the right amount of drama and good spicy scenes, this show has it all for me. The drama in this show is so good, it's not over the top, and it's not underwhelming, it keeps you on the edge of your seat while not dragging anything out.
The spicy scenes are perfect, with both couples, you can tell they love each other, Is Babe usually worried about himself and doesn't give Charlie ALL his attention? Yes, but he loves Charlie with his whole heart and you can tell in Episode 10.
In conclusion, Pavel needs more roles as the main in 2024 and beyond
