Love Upon a Time (2025)

Both BL dramas have fated lovers and reincarnation plots whereby the main characters were lovers in both their past and current lives. There is also some supernatural elements as well.

Both have plots about fated lovers that ended tragically in past lives and the couple also appears in the present lifetime too (for the side couple of Love Upon a Time).

Completely different plot HOWEVER both shows have the same lead actors / couple. Even though the shows are different the interactions between the actors is similar

Both are historical Thai BL dramas, however Memoir of Rati is set in the 1910s and Love Upon a Time is set in the 1600s. Both are about the the relationship between an upper class and lower class character for the main couple and both showcase Muay Thai boxing as a plot for the side couple.

Both are Thai BL historical dramas whereby the main character is transported back into the past and has to solve a mystery about what happened to him in his previous life. Love Upon a Time has a main couple and a side couple while I'm the Most Beautiful Count has 3 guys chasing after the MC.

One of the two leads, after being warned of something dangerous in the future, he & his lover are chased by criminals into an alley that sends them into the past during the 1890s or 2433 Buddhist era. This is where they must adapt to their time there and find their way back to the present day.
