RECOMMENDED FOR FLUFF
Premise: A romance story about a popular blond haired boy and a normal black haired boy falling in love while navigating the ups and downs of school life.GOOD
+ CONTRASTING PERSONALITIES: I loved the way both leads' personalities differed from each other but at the same time completed each other. The black haired one was optimistic and cute most of the time, which was the reason why the blond haired one noticed him in the first place. The blond haired one on the other hand was cold in nature and didn't like to show emotions. However in order to reasure the black haired one, he slowly learned to express his emotions out loud.
+ CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT: Black hair and blond hair both learned and grew thanks to each other. Blond hair learned how to become more open with his emotions and black hair learned to rely more on blond hair and trust in their mutual feelings.
+ ENSEMBLE CAST: I loved how supportive the leads' friends were. Without them, the leads would probably have ended things because they couldn't say everything they wanted to say.
+ RELATIVE LACK OF ANGST: This show differed from other BL's in the sense it didn't put in useless relationship drama just for the sake of it. It was relatively angst-free and offered a rather fluffy watching experience.
+ COMMUNICATION: Although the characters didn't always do a great job in communicating their feelings for each other, they still try, unwilling to give up on each other. For example, at the end of the series, black hair was still hesitant about the future of their relationship so blond hair took it upon himself to tell him that he didn't want this relationship to end with graduation and that they should aim to stay together forever.
+ ACTING: The leads did a great job in convincing the audience of the affection they held for each other. They had a chemistry that made it a joy to watch them on screen. The ensemble cast also do a great job in adding charm to this series. Although the acting can get a little too much sometimes, it never got to the point of cringey.
+ INTERACTIONS AND FLUFF: The show is just so fluffy. The leads are adorable together and would do their best to make each other happy. In the latter part of the series, they would also become more used to expressing their love for each other in words which is just heart warming.
+ ENDING: I liked the ending where blond hair convinced black hair that they would be together forever.
BAD
- CLICHE PLOT: This show's plot is cliche and predictable but that didn't it any less enjoyable. However, I would have hoped to have more unique elements or plotpoints instead of going for the cliche high school BL elements. Nothing else seemed to happen other then events that pushed their relationship foward.

Sweet and funny puppy love story
I finally setup an account so I can write a review because I can’t believe how some viewers rated this drama so lowly. I was pleasantly surprised with this gem. I thought oh another BL based on high school kids . Well yes they’re high school kids but their love story is really so sweet. Yes there were some weird filter thing through out the drama but overall the main leads really made you feel their love towards each other and make your heart flutters. Also the rest of the cast did a great job supporting the leads. Definitely one of the most enjoyable and best BL this year. Hoping for a season 2!Cet avis était-il utile?

Cute couple who deserve a better story
The BL couple is cute and likable, but you might sense that something is lacking when the side characters like Tanaka and Katori prove to be more interesting as characters. The two main characters like each other and start dating. But Takara's cool demeanor leads to some misunderstandings. The couple is cute, but it's hard to fathom why Takara would so doggedly act as though he is nonchalant about things when there seems nothing motivating or compelling him to (he doesn't even really care about what others think, so it's not like he is putting on a façade to maintain an image or something). There are some subtle changes in the way he behaves in the last couple of episodes, but it seems to come a little late and pointless.
The weakest part of this series is the storyline. Most of the episodes begin with some sort of problem in the relationship, often because there is some misunderstanding going on. The somewhat confusing editing in the early and final episodes don't really help much either.
There is so much potential for characters like Tanaka and Katori to play a more important role in the story and the couple's relationship. The potential is wasted especially with Tanaka. In the end, it feels like what happens in the last episode could well be in the second episode and real complications can be thrown in subsequently.

A candy floss show
I've been impressed by most of the Japanese BL's I've seen as they've been of a high standard and better than a lot of Thai ones, however this show just makes me think of candy floss - it's sweet but with no substance. There really is no proper storyline to follow, it's mainly just the 2 leads in various situations. In fact some episodes could be watched in a different order and it wouldn't make any difference!
I will watch the last 2 episodes but can't see there be enough happening to make me want to visit this series again.

The fluffiest to ever fluff
If you're looking for a show with an intense plot, angst, and drama - keep looking. This isn't the show for you.BUT if you're looking for a really sweet romance between two boys, with a healthy relationship and awesome communication skills, then congrats! You're in the right place.
This really is just a sweet getting-together show. The first episode is a bit confusing as it jumps back and forth time-wise, but that resolves in the first episode. By second episode, you're caught up to present time and it's just a smooth ride from there on in. The leads have good chemistry together, which is nice. Takara says maybe like ten words every episode, he's not a talker, but he uses those words to full impact. The show really teaches healthy relationship and communication and it's done so naturally, it's beautiful.
I highly recommend the series to people. Especially to those of us tired of the miscommunication trope. You won't find it here.

Very sweet slice of life
While being very sweet and cute, this series also shows how complicated a secret relationship during high school can be. I like the concept of one being super popular while the other isn’t, I think it makes it more exciting to watch. All the characters are likeable and funny, and I love that it doesn’t go too deep into the plot, but instead stays as a slice-of-life story.
Their interactions are so precious and loveable, my heart almost couldn’t take it. Very much rewatchable, I had an amazing time. So, if you are in search of something simple and heartwarming, this is the one!

The Story of Two Cute People
As the drama ended, I already felt sad to say bye to the two characters (and their friends)...This characters in this story are exactly how I feel young people in love should be...one respects and cherishes the other...after watching so many shows where young people get together and break up without a thought, I love that this relationship is about discovering each other slowing and solving the misunderstandings as they arise...love will be long-lasting only if both sides try their best...wish people could learn something from the dramas and be better lovers...they'll definitely be together forever...hope there's season 2...Cet avis était-il utile?
Very cute but not to everyone's tastes
I personally really enjoyed it. It felt nice and cosy to watch every Friday and it covered some really topics and was very fluffy and sweet. I'd have like to see a few more kisses but it isn't essential and it was beautiful. If you're used to japanese shows then i think you'll enjoy it ? I think some comments who don't like it are because they're not familiar wirh or fans of japanese cultural messages and art styles that can be seen within it.
overall though I think it's worth a shot but I warn if you aren't used to Japan's BL or anime shows you may find it slow?

Simple, Cute, Slice of Life Drama
that I completely enjoyed. What I enjoyed more about this series is how mature the characters were. Takara and Amagi behaved way more mature than a lot of Male Leads that I have seen in other BL series. For being teenagers, they sure knew how to communicate and fight for their relationship. Whenever there was a problem while yes, the drama was there it didn't take long for Amagi and Takara to solve it. When that wasn't enough, it was time for their friends to step up! Katori has to be one of my favorite best friend's in BL. He was always there for Amagi when he needed him. I really loved their bond. The friendships were good here even Tanaka stepped up when he needed to.Yes the story was simple and not much too it but I loved how realistic the plot was to teenagers like Amagi coming to terms with his feelings of first love and all that entailed. Although Takara wasn't as epressive as Amagi, it was good to get inside his head once in a while. Also his love for Amagi was the cutest thing ever. Bubbly and Cold protagonists is one of my favorite tropes and I feel like it was executed well here.
The actors did a fine job with their characters.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was the use of timeline. Those flashbacks to tell the story where mighty confusing, esp in the first episodes. I think that's why I give this a 9.0. Because overall this was a fun, fluffy & just what I needed kind of series. I liked the minimal use of angst and the overall cuteness because with all the ugliness in the world this is the kind of series that is needed. One that I'll probably rewatch a lot and one of my favorites of the year.

A relationship that's built on understanding each other and love.
I have been really wanting to watch this BL since I saw snippets of it here and there over on Youtube now that it's finished airing I'm gonna go and binge watch this drama, If I can. Jesus first episode got me feeling sad but not crying, this is probs gonna play with my emotions the next few episodes to come. Being able to watch the full videos and not just some shorts or edits on youtube really paints a bigger picture of what amagi's real character is. From the shorts I saw on youtube it makes it seem like amagi is a bright and happy character in the drama, but really it's the opposite. He's very insecure about himself and if people even like him and it's not like he doesn't have friends or anything but it seems to me that he doesn't want to open up to them and show them his vulnerable side (which he only ever shows to takara). I love how even though they have their differences and misunderstand each other, they always talk it out with each other and try to understand the reason behind why the other is thinking like this. Instead of just jumping to conclusions, like saying "let's breakup"(which they only ever touched up upon very early in the stages of their relationship). I really loved this drama. If it is to get a Movie later on I'll be so happy to watch it.Cet avis était-il utile?
No truly meaningful points being made
TKTAK features a classic trope: Dorky guy falls in love with the popular guy in class. Turns out, popular guy secretly likes dorky guy as well. The conflict for this series centres around how this seemingly odd pair strives to maintain a distance in school even though they’re dating. And naturally – as the couple faces social pressures from school cliques, Amagi constantly worries that Takara will abandon him.
Unfortunately, TKTAK dips its feet into the messy tribulations of adolescent romance without having any truly meaningful points to make about young love. Overall, I wish there was more depth to their relationship and more time spent on building the story to a satisfying conclusion.
But maybe it’s not supposed to reflect the range of emotions that come with real life. Maybe it’s supposed to be a romanticised snapshot of two youngsters in love, who in that moment believe that when tomorrow comes, they will love each other the same.
