Tetsuo learns the truth about his death from Saeki, but he is unable to accept it. He visits his mother, Keiko, before going home to his wife Chika, but he is unable to deliver the news to her. With the help of his former boss Anzai, he goes to the rooftop where he died to reenact what had happened, but only fragments of his memory return.
