Well shit!
SPOILER To anyone that have not reached this episode!
Holy shit! This series was amazing. The deeper you look, the more meaningful and mind-blowing it is. I just went back and watched ep. 6 where NueaToh were sitting on the sofa after Toh got a bloody nose. That moment seems like any other moment that people would have a conversation. But No... it was so much more than that!!!
This whole time people are commenting on how Toh should have been forward and told Nuea how he felt instead of "stalking" him ( I use that term loosely). But I think we forgot the fact that Toh did not know if Nuea was interested in men or not. Toh, is of course out but he did not know if Nuea would ever accept him or not. I realize now that Toh not only loved Nuea from afar, but he was also afraid, scared, in fear that if Nuea knew he took pictures of him at school events not only because he was a photographer, but because he, as a man, loved him romantically. And the fact that Toh didn't know if Nuea liked men or not made him stay away from him.
Then on ep. 6, when Nuea asked him about his crush saying "Is it a woman or a man", It hit me. NUEA KNEW TOH's hesitation and why he was being closed off. He then said to him "Do you know being with/kissing a man is different than being with/Kissing a woman"? Thats when Toh asked "Why do you ask as if you know the difference?" and Nuea replied, "I know about it more than you do"... which made Toh's Red-light turn to Yellow... he still was not 100% sure but he now knew Nuea has had some experience with both genders (I believe Toh was Nuea's experience with a man as the series did not suggest Nuea having any other experience with men before Toh. And also how Prao said "this is just a phase" (I'm putting her words nicely than she said it)
This is just One scene from One episode. How many deeper meanings will we find if we focus and watch the episodes again. I Applaud the director/writer/screen writer/producer for this.

Worth it... fluffy and happy, but also hits on big issues
At the first episode of this drama, I was considering whether to watch it or not, but I'm thrilled I kept with it! The story is cute, and of course, the romance is delightful! The main couple has excellent chemistry, as well as the side couples. There are a few parts of the story that drag or are a little bit unnecessary, but overall a drama that I think is being underrated. Honestly, the main character, Toh, was so adorable to me. He was honest with his weirdness, and still confident after he got used to everything with his boyfriend. That smile! If you're on the fence, give it a try!

One of the best series of the year!
I have to admit I was reluctant to watch this series but once I started it has occupied my brain. I have re-watched this series an embarrassing amount of times and will continue to re- watch. I think I understood the message to be of acceptance, that no matter how different you are, you deserve to be loved. Toh's character is misunderstood, yes he is a collector, obsessing over Nua, and "stalking" him but he does this for himself and with his trusted friends. A real stalker will cause harm and will try to insert themselves into their obsession's life. Nua's character is so well done, he just accepts Toh and does not let what others think affect his feelings for him. The show had a great storyline, lots of humour and serious topics . I think the productions did a great job in telling a story without added drama on each episode. Billy/Seng what a great job they did with their characters, their acting was amazing! We are slightly over halfway of 2022 and so far this is my favourite drama.Cet avis était-il utile?
Campy, Queer, and a Love Letter to the Outcasts
Have you ever watched a show and its essence felt supremely queer? That was my first impression of SCOY and it delivered on the queer-vibes the whole way through. It's loud, flamboyant, and fun in a way that isn't meant to be taken too seriously, but is also filled with a lot of heart. A tight-knit, queer friend group takes center stage and femmes get lead roles in a world where they're used to being the unattractive outcasts, stuck daydreaming about their secret crushes on unattainable campus hotties, except (spoilers) campus hotties are Queer Friend Group #2, who are less visibly queer, but are truly just as lovably odd as Queer Friend Group #1.
Both friend groups are filled with characters I have come to absolutely adore, and SCOY takes care to show that whether attractive or unattractive, popular or unpopular, we all are humans each with our own quirks and insecurities, but by sharing those parts of ourselves with our loved ones, we can learn to overcome those insecurities and allow ourselves to love and be loved for the quirky people we are.
The couples have excellent chemistry and SCOY loves to show how attractive they find each other, but my favorite thing about the numerous sex scenes, especially between Nuea and Toh, is how sometimes I just had to sit back and be like, if that's what they're into, good for them, because they were often playful and teasing in a way that was uniquely THEM.
The show isn't without its flaws (Daisy and Touch deserved a better resolution), but it was still a solid 10/10 on the enjoyment scale.
Extra bonus points for the lesbian couple in QFG#2, even if they were only minor characters. I'm so ready for us to enter a gl era, and if GAP the Series is anywhere near as good as SCOY was, I will be a very happy lady indeed.

Watch this to enjoy an honest and good work.
A truly honest and good work you should watch and have fun.Pros: managing correctly toxic situations, dealing with most of the problems such as body shaming, obsession, social media, safe sex, variety of sexes, acceptance, nice aesthetic for the love scenes.
Cons: Some old fashion ways of portraying LGBTQIA+ like “husband-wife”, “the athletic top-the feminine bottom”, self-esteem issues etc.
Over all the pros are way more and you can add to this: good acting, good production, excellent subtitles, lots of topics but not chaotic, lots of funny moments, lots of sexy moments, references to Thai cinematography (always adds a taste), essential for the plot emotional scenes and more.
TAKE A SEAT! ☺

Worst serie I have ever watched.
Positive:I honestly don't have anything positive to say abt this serie other than the cast was ok. Sky and Jao were an okay couple I guess??
Negative:
Hell where do I start. The way the characters act is completely shit. Especially Toh, I get this is supposed to be like a crazy stalker type of shit but I really didn't like it. The whole serie is just cringey and weird...why would the friends just dismiss behavior like that? Sure they tried helping him stop at some point but why not be more assertive? And his whole room...it's just not it. How did Nuea just catch feelings?? It doesn't make sense? There was no time for him to catch feelings for him...And how does he just dismiss Toh's weird behavior?! I really didn't like the serie and dreaded each episode, I was hoping for it to get better at some point but it didn't. The side couples kind of sucked too kind of wanted at least a bit more of Intouch and Daisy though. I don't even get Som and that other dude lmfao. I definitely wanted more of Fon and Kongkwan though! Either way Nuea and Toh were a shitty couple in the serie and just didn't make sense to me.
Anyway, this serie was personally a huge waste of time for me, I rlly don't get how others love this serie but props to you ig...👏
wish I could put 0 stars for everything but music, music deserves a 1 star lol

WASTE OF TIME
1. It's funny here and there.2. Obvious plot, story is so boring, I skipped a lot.
3. Bad acting.
4. Toh and his friends scenes - they tried to make it as funny as possible, i laughed a bit in the beginning but as it goes it started becoming annoying, i skipped every scene of Toh and his friends :]
5. If they don't have anything to progress in the storyline they all go to beach and play games, it become a thing in thai bls and it's annoying.
6. Toh character - annoying as hell, i felt like i wanna slap him in the face :)
7. Nuea character - does he even know what he is doing?
8. Side characters - waste, they don't have anything to do in the scene.
9. Only thing i liked is some OSTs while watching.
10. Just don't watch it and save your time.

You ain't seen nothing yet. XD
So it's been a while since I've watched a BL while it's airing. I always want all the episodes to be out before I start watching because I the waiting game. But SCOY is an exception. I watched the first episode when it came out, but then decided to wait a little before continuing.. but that didn't last long because I was back by the 3rd episode and now I'm stuck and I dont want to get unstuck lol.All thee characters are so well thought out and show their individuality so well. The best parts of the show is, the friendships (for both Nuea and Toh group) and how they get along with eachother. There is also the three couples that have such different dynamics. NueaToh are the crazy/horny/cant keep our hands and faces off each other feel; and SkyJao are the Cute/fluffy/pure/adorable feel while TouchDaisy are the butterflies, the one that made me emotional because of their interactions.
The character developments for the whole cast from episode one to now is just wonderful. The pace of this series is well made and of course the cringe/2nd hand embarrassment/Cute/fluffy/spicy/hot and heart fluttering scenes make this show #1 in my book. I have not laughed and fell for each character this much in such a long time, if at all.
I will continue to watch this series every Friday until the end. It's a series that I whole heartedly look forward to every week. I want to applaud the writer of this novel, Producer Saint, Director P'Cheewin and all the actors and actresses, all the staff and just everyone involved in this project that has kept us happy until now.

Don’t give up after the first two episodes!
After the first two episodes, I’m not gonna lie, I did not want to continue watching. I’m just not into the cringy, overly dramatic, hyper cutesy type of drama. But! I gave it a chance. And after I continued watching, I realized that this was an easter egg drama. What do I mean by that? I mean it presents this cute, cliché, cringy façade but it actually deals with a lot of serious topics.
I love how much representation is in this drama. As a lot of other reviews have probably suggested, it is one of the few popular BLs in the spotlight that portrays fem gays in roles that are not comic relief and also includes other LGBTQ+ couples. There are actual strong friendships, people respecting others pronouns, realistic feelings of anxiety tied with confidence or body positivity, and a lot of unconditional love.
I’m so glad I did not go with my gut feeling and abandon this drama. It has been so worth it.

Gets better with every episode
You just gotta trust the process, believe me. What started as a try-not-to-cringe-challenge turned out to be one of the best dramas for LGBTQIA+ representation I`ve ever seen. There were many times, especially during the first couple of episodes, where i was about to drop the show. But man am I glad I didn`t.There were so many important matters raised, and the way the characters solved their issues through communication and mutual understanding was very well done.
I loved that every character had their own problems and insecurities, adding depth to their personalities and their storylines. You wouldn`t believe it at the start of the show, but the characters end up being super relatable and authentic. The actors and actresses did a great job portraying their characters, making their actions and emotions feel natural and believable.
Besides the romantic relationship, the platonic friendships really did it for me. The pure care, love and support they were continuously giving each other were so beautiful, they really touched my heart.
It`s not perfect, and it sure has it`s flaws. But it`s totally worth a shot.

A Rom-Com at its Campy BEST.
I don’t usually write reviews, but this one deserves one. For anyone who dropped this series after one episode, or has not given it a chance, you’re seriously missing out.First thing to take into account is that this is most definitely a rom com. This is not dramatic in any way unless it’s making fun of drama, or the few wonderfully touching moments it touches on important topics. This is a very campy funny series that doesn’t try to be more than what it is: a story of 4 very “out of the norm” bffs that don’t need to change who they are to get the “big man” on campus.
Unlike the mayority of “ugly duckling” movies and tv shows, here the main lead does NOT change in order to get the hot guy. Toh is who he is and Nuea loves him as he is.
3 of the 4 main group of friends (the boys) all have insecurities (for which they are bullied) that are so well handled: all 3 have different body image issues, Toh not being (traditionally) handsome, Jan for his weight and Daisy’s gender identity.
The mains Nuea and Toh do suffer from a lot of miscommunication early on, as both believe the other is interested in another person, but their communication skills blossom beautifully. I give 10 stars to actors Billy and Seng for the scene near the end when Nuea discovers Toh’s secret boxes. These actors went all out with their emotions and tears.
Actress Looknam (Som) also brilliantly played the scene where Daisy tries to change who she is. Som defines what a true friend and ally is by supporting Daisy’s gender identity while also supporting their decision.
Really, every one of their insecurities are treated so gently and perfectly, and none of them is forced into being something they’re not in order to “get the guy”. The parents are supportive, loving, and flawed in their own ways, but still wonderful.
And the main couple’s chemistry is hot like burning. Nuea looks like he wants to eat Toh alive everytime they kiss, and they kiss a lot. I wish they didn’t pan to the side everytime they got to the sexy times, because with the chemistry between these two, my screen would be of fire.
To say that this show is the best bl series would be exaggerating. But for what it wants to be, a campy rom com, it IS perfect.

I Shouldve Known Better
All the bits in this go on for too long. In fact, the dialogue in general drags. I watched on 1.75x and it still felt like there was always too much time spent before letting a bit/joke/scene end, everything felt protracted and (considering how cringey this was obviously going to be with the premise) that really adds up to an unpleasant watching experience. If you've got a moderate to low tolerance for cringe, skip this one. It took me a minute to notice, but somewhere in episode two, my brain apparently just shut the fuck down to protect itself from critical levels of cringe. I was in part 2/4 and then I noticed I had taken in no information and was just staring blankly at the end of part 3/4. Like my eyes were watering, there is so much POTENT cringe every damn second. It's giving me heartburn. Indigestion. I didn't even know I was this weak to cringe but this is an unnecessarily strong brew jfcI feel like I've maybe shaved a year off the longevity of my heart and I also learned that you can tense your heart today. Or at least it felt like I did. I've never had a show make me so uncomfortable my face literally ached from how furrowed my brows were.
I cannot stress enough how much this drags, so I literally counted how many seconds it took for Toh to overreact to something. Nuea says something and Toh reacts for 20 SECONDS STRAIGHT. Before. Responding. This happens more than once in a conversation. Hell, more than thrice in one interaction between the two, it is excruciating.
I can jive with slapstick comedy and like.... anime antics¿ but it feels like they weren't willing to let anything just end until they'd wrung all the life from it. The sheer amount of sound effects (horse neighing, "wow", bells, *!!!*) it's never ending and I think I'm in flight or fight mode rn??? Idk, I'm almost immune to the cringe at this point because my fear has evolved into anger, if only for self-protection. The constant heavy breathing when Nueas around oooooooh my fucking l o r d
I left to get cereal and getting back over to my phone felt like trying to put a cat in a bath, my body just didn't wanna get anywhere near it. Never once in my life have I rooted for the straight couple over the BL/GL, but I was rooting for Prao because Toh literally made me feel like I found a centipede crawling up my leg typa uncomfortable and creeped out. That's what his character is supposed to be, but at some point I had to wonder if there was any intention to make the character likable ever. And the music??? Why are we playing sad music when Toh doesn't get to be creepy???? Am I supposed to sympathise¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿
I blinked and two episodes passed but I don't remember them. I feel that I've aged in spirit. I'm going to drop this for my health, safety, and sanity.
Edit: I previously rated this a one but through the utter insanity of only finding absolutely awful series to watch lately, I decided to return to the trauma that is this one. I added a full star for the scene where Nuea appears naked for no reason because I spent about fifteen minutes straight laughing about it until I cried and my whole torso hurt.
Edit 2: its grown on me. Two more stars. Im understanding the cult favorite aspect because if you acclimate and survive the eye-watering cringe for long enough, it really is funny
