Cringe worthy

The story was all over the place.
The FL and ml has good visuals so I thought I'd enjoy it.
Unfortunately I was disappointed. I don't feel their chemistry at all. And I started to worry on the ML's upcoming drama which is hidden love. I'm a fan of the novel and when I saw they are going to adapt it I was excited to know the ml. And he's not what I envision the ml look. He look so young and so I started to search for his drama to get a glimpse of his acting and so far Mr. Bad is not a good one. I really hope h can do better in hidden love. Please give justice to the character!!! ?
In Mr. Bad the acting was unnatural and awkward.
I don't think they are suited for this genre. If you want to waste your time I guess you can watch this. Anyways don't let my review affect your chance to watch this.

Full Fantasy

This is a regular rom-con with it's cuteness. I do have to say the lead male &female had very good chemistry with each other and I enjoy all the characters. I also enjoy NO obsess ex-girlfriend, or parents who are constantly fighting with the leading characters. It is a fantasy as girls can fantasied. I did not like that the lead female because she was naïve was constantly being call dumb and stupid or slow. She was smart and courage's for leaving her house and trying to find a job in the field she liked. Yes, she was shy and had anxieties on something that happen to her. Just for that I found her very courage's. I like the lead male supporting her dream even dough at first it was for his own interest and later because he was in love with her. I do like that this drama gives hope to people who have an illness and feel they would never reach their dreams. I do wish the writers stop writing a drama that always start with the lead couple meeting each other and hating each other. I would preferred the situation like the 2nd couple who where friends, started a business together and realize they were in love with each other. The story was not bad. The performance of the actors was very good.

The best among the rest

If you are looking for a sweet and light drama, you must watch this. Every episodes is a blast. The chemistry of Shen Yue and Chen Zheyuan is truely unbeatable. This is the first time I avail a vip subs, because I can't wait any longer. So what have been your waiting for, go watch it now. You surely enjoyed it. You will have mix emotion after you finished it. ?

The scenes are totally sweet and light. The characters did very well to portray the roles. And the production give their effort resulting to an wonderful drama. Go watch it and judge it for yourself. You will surely love it.

A Must Watch!

Not your typical fantasy and romance type of drama. The character gave justice to their acting very well especially the main leads. Their acting seems so genuine and really touched my heart. CZY's acting never disappoints and SY's too, this show another side of their acting and you will never feel like they were acting at all.
Actors' chemistry worked well which really made this drama a hit. It seems that the main leads really are acting together for a very long time which made their chemistry even powerful. I also like their duet :) Hoping to see CZY and SY in another project.

Dramma divertente e piacevole!

Dramma cinese,uno di quelli carini nonostante le cose più bizzarre che a volte succedono. Storia davvero carina che parte da un romanzo fantasy ma poi li sviluppo nel mondo moderno. Ci sono molti cliché classici di questi dramma però non sono invadenti, rendono la storia simpatica e divertente.
Molto carini gli attori e i loro personaggi principali,il loro modo di interagire crea una bella chimica che traspare guardando il dramma. Bella anche se un po' lenta la storia dell'altra coppia.
Un bellissimo happy ending.
Nel complesso un dramma molto divertente e piacevole.

They don't overcomplicate things

I don't really know how to write a review without actually listing all that I liked and didn't like in a series. So I'll be very straightfoward with my opinions here.

Things I liked:

- The leads are wonderful. They got chemistry together and they don't complicate things. They talk about everything and trust each other, that's so great. Actually, the show is worth just cuz of them. When they are not on screen I keep waiting for when they will. The episode when ML didn't appear was one of the most boring.
- Really liked the interactions between the leads and Lu Zichen, all three got great chemistry. Lu Zichen is realy funny actually, I could see that from the beginning. He is half shy half silly and it's so fun to watch, and it's precisely this side of him that worked with Xiao Wudi's more serious and smart personality.
- I liked her mother, she's funny and doesn't get on the leads' way. I wish they had put someone for her cuz she deserved to be happy again with someone else.

Things I didn't like:

- The second couple is super boring. I liked them as characters but not as a couple. They have poor construction and I didn't understand why they took so long to be together. Was it because of his father? But he had already cut ties with his father! Was it because of his immaturity? But how would she know he has no maturity to enter in a relationship without trying this with him?! idk, i thought they were too slow!
- I didn't like sisi, Nanxing's bff. She doesn't see how that other guy likes her and keeps ignoring him, sometimes being even rude to him. She only thinks about eating. I think she's annoying and I didn't miss her when she didn't appear anymore in the end.
- I didn't get the logic behind the fairy. First, Wudi appears to make Nanxing's wish come true, and when he does, he comes back to the fictional world where he came from. Then, out of nowhere, when Nanxing needs help, the fairy decides to bring Wudi back to do some mission. But why didn't he give that mission before? Why wait for idk what happens to send Wudi to the real world?! And I think that Nanxing should have tried to appeal to the fairy before. Why did she never thought of going to the fountain and making a wish just like Wudi did on the other side?

Anyways, despite everything I said here I really liked the show, it was funny and cute. I just think they should have built the second couple better or focused more on the main couple. But besides that, it was a great drama, among the best chinese dramas I watched.

Começo promissor, mas desenvolvimento entendiante

Eu resolvi assistir este drama muito atraída pela premissa de um mocinho fora do padrão, com ares vilanescos , o que é um tipo de enredo que me agrada bastante. Posso citar Love Better Than Immortality como um exemplo onde o enredo é realmente assim, e os ares de vilão ou mocinho dúbio se mantêm por mais tempo na trama.
Aqui, infelizmente, o mesmo não acontece. E temos um mocinho que muda do nada, drasticamente, sem um desenvolvimento que o leve até isso de um modo convincente. Sua personalidade, dita como imoral e perversa, não dura quase nada, e de repente o que temos é um protagonista bobalhão que só sabe pensar em como conquistar a mocinha. Ela por sua vez não é desagradável, mas é lenta e às vezes um tanto robótica, sempre com a mesma expressão, isso talvez seja explicado por uma atuação mediana por parte da atriz.
Outra coisa que me frustra bastante é o casal secundário. Ele é um escritor renomado e experiente, admirado por muitos, mas é tragicamente reduzido a um cara imaturo que apenas persegue sua assistente e não tem a menor ideia do que fazer para conquistá-la ou se declarar, é outro bobalhão só que ainda mais irritante. Cadê seu enredo como escritor? Ao menos no trabalho ele deveria agir como um profissional, mas não o vi fazendo isso em nenhum momento, ele é todo resumido a Srta. Ye. E, honestamente falando, se eu estivesse no lugar dela acho que eu não ficaria nada atraída por um cara assim.
Enfim, eu só consegui chegar onde cheguei pulando muitas cenas. O drama tem um desenvolvimento muito lento, cenas longas demais onde basicamente nada se acrescenta. Esse drama seria reduzido a 10 episódios tranquilamente.
Na primeira interação mais intensa entre o casal principal, e que já acontece logo nos primeiros capítulos, eu me peguei sendo muito otimista. A mocinha fica chateada com o mocinho após o mesmo pregar uma peça de mau gosto. Foi uma cena que deixou seus ares cômicos para ganhar mais tensão e até um ar dramático. Eentão ele se aproxima dela devagar, com cuidado, num diálogo silencioso para conseguir ser perdoado. Até onde assisti eu tenho essa cena como o único ápice mais dramático que nos prende e nois deixa mais tensos. De resto, é tudo muito monótono e entendiante. O que é uma pena pois a química entre eles pareceu muito boa, mas não foi aproveitada. Faltaram momentos mais tensos, faltou um pouco mais de drama, mais situações desafiadoras que não fossem tão clichês (como o fato de ele pertencer a outra era e um dia, supostamente, precisar voltar).
Talvez eu ainda me pegue finalizando este drama, pulando uns 60% dos capítulos só para ver como termina. Mas até onde consegui, essa é minha avaliação. A trama teve elementos muito promissores, um enrendo que tinha tudo pra dar muito certo, mas isso se perde e é esmagado por um desenvolvimento onde vemos muito pouco acontecendo enquanto muitos episódios se passam. Como diriam os gringos "so boring" kkkkk.
Queria entender as avaliações tão positivas, mas enfim, gosto não se discute mesmo.

Cute and fluffy

The story is actually very simple with episodes just drawn out for comedic and romantic purposes. If not for SY and CZY, such drama might fall flat but they have the chemistry and acting chops so the drama is still a must.

The second couple is a bit of miss though. They offer good comedy moments for the main couple esp between XWD and Mr Lu but as a pair, their own romance tones down the sweet and cute drama mood.

Lastly I wish they did the ending a bit differently. I don’t think it was properly handled because most audience may not catch on the real score of the story. Over-all, this fantasy rom-com is worth the watch.

Sviluppo troppo lento

I drama cinesi sono famosi per iniziare in un modo e cambiare direzione per poi diventare tutt'altro. Così magari finissce che ti piace solo una prte del drama. Questo no. Questo è uno dei rari drama cinesi che hanno una chiara direzione e natura e la mantengono fino alla fine, solo che tra l'inizio e il finale fanno talmente tanti avanti e poi indietro e poi avanti e poi indietro e poi avanti e poi indietro che ad un certo punto ero esasperata. Veramente. Alla puntata 14 ormai disperavo che i due protagonisti seppure non avessero veri ostacoli a bloccarli si dichiarassero. I personaggi sono tutti simpatici i protagonisti non hanno gravi problemi da risolvere, a parte la natura di lui. E questo mi piace, non voglio struggermi troppo per i personaggi, ma se non ci sono problemi il fatto di non farli dichiarare per 14 puntate o più per motivi futili o inesistenti rende il tutto quasi ridicolo e pesante. All'inizio era carino ma poi ha stufato. Anche perchè la coppia secondaria era pure pure pegio come lentezza nel progredire. Andava persino all'indietro.

Very cute cdrama

I don't usually watch cdrama but this one is different. The main lead are full of chemistry and cuteness in every scene. Shen Yue is very shippable to every leading man she have. It is my first time to watch Chen Zhe Yuan and he is so good and funny especially in comedic scene. He looks like Lee Min ho in my opinion. Sadly, its not typical in Chinese Entertainment to repeat pairing of leads but hoping that these 2 will work together again since they are so good.


If you miss watching 2016 version of Kdrama. I highly recommend this cdrama. The chemistry,flow of story and OST are good ????
