Clichés made refreshing with satire
Stick to the Script! is a cute and most of all comedic show. Usually, comedies are either a hit or miss for me, most often a miss, but this show I adored. I loved the satire in it which is definitely one of its strongest points.A quick definition of satire: “Satire means making fun of people by imitating them in ways that expose their stupidity or flaws”. This is seen multiple times throughout the show. For example, in one of the earlier scenes Liu Lin (who is the funniest character without a doubt) appears while holding an umbrella, flower petals falling and him trying to look cool, only for something to bump into his head. Another example is that of the flying scenes where we can literally see the actors stand on a machine that brings them forward, making fun of how fake xianxia dramas often look while the actors fly in the air.
Another thing I loved was the music. As I loved the particular song that was used at the end of each episode, it pleasantly surprised me that it was that song they chose to perform in the last episode, with a hilarious MV of course. That was a great way to incorporate the female lead’s knowledge on Vocal Art.
I watched the series with very poor and inaccurate English subtitles, so it’s basically the same as watching without. Despite that, I was able to catch a lot of what was happening as the story was pretty easy to follow.
I don’t think there was something I really disliked about this show. Though, I do think many would agree that it would have been nice if the episodes were longer, because let’s be honest, 4 minutes per episode is extremely short. But overall it didn’t bother me that much.
I rarely consider rewatching shows, but this one I would like to watch again sometime in the future. Especially if we happen to get a second season ;).

I miss Wang HaoXuan <3
After watching The Untamed, I became a fan of Wang Haoxuan and started to follow his works, so since his last drama, I've been waiting a long, long, long time to see something new. So imagine my joy at having announced this new drama???Plot: I've only watched 10 episodes so far (in Mandarin which is not my language). But the plot itself is very light, funny and cute (although the episodes are short and last an average of 4 minutes). This drama satirizes many clichés from other dramas and has kept me entertained.
Actors: Wang Haoxuan is my darling and I love it when he plays the anti hero/villain, here he plays Xiao Tian Yu, the fifth brother of the dragon clan, the character is serious, imposing and stingy lol but he has his cute side and sweet (will be explored throughout the drama) and Tu Zhiying plays Wang Xiaoyu, I find this actress adorable, fun and talented. I watched two of her works just because she was going to be a romantic partner like Wang Haoxuan and I really liked it. She has a natural and funny acting, I always have fun with her roles. I believe that Wang Xiao Yu (Tu Zhiying) and Xiao Tian Yu (Wang Haoxuan) have a lot of chemistry, the trailers show that, and I love it when Xiao Tian Yu approaches her and stares at her intensely lol and the fights they have are super fun and cute.
*I'll add more notes as I watch.

an enjoyable romantic fantasy drama
"Stick to the Script!" is a delightful drama that explores the world of TV dramas and the characters within them. The story follows Wang Xiao Yu, who finds herself accidentally transported into the world of a TV drama and becomes involved with Xiao Tian Yu, the second male lead in the show. The show's unique concept and imaginative storyline keep the viewers engaged and entertained throughout its 40 episodes. The acting by the cast is commendable, with Tu Zhi Ying and Wang Hao Xuan delivering impressive performances as the main leads. The chemistry between the two actors is delightful to watch, and their on-screen romance is charming and heartwarming. The supporting cast also does a good job in their roles, bringing depth and personality to the characters they play.
Overall, "Stick to the Script!" is an enjoyable romantic fantasy drama with a unique concept and good performances from the cast. If you're a fan of romance and fantasy dramas, this is a must-watch!

Good funny short drama
I wish I haven't started this so soon so I could wait and watch it all in one go, each episode only last about four minutes which is way too short and I wish there's more of it.The story is very typical with a simple story between the ML and FL, but it is executed in a light and funny way which I enjoyed very much. i enjoy this kind of cheesy story and the story based on a xianxia plot. It is a good watch at the end of the day.
It would not take up much of your time to watch it so it's worth giving it a go.
Btw, given that the FL is meant to be major in music, the music in this drama aren't that good, but maybe they made it that way sarcastically.
The ending implies that there will be second season and it's ended in a rush

Quite funny and entertaining at times
The premise is quite nonsensical. A woman viewing a series is suddenly transported into the series--there is no explanation of any sort. I do, however, like how the protagonist has some "superpowers" as her remote control can do certain things like pausing the scenes without pausing herself.I'm not sure why, but there seems to quite a number of mini series involving characters who are transported to a fictional world. This one isn't the best, but it is entertaining enough. One of the merits of the series is that it does not take itself seriously. Yet, this is also the Archilles heel of the series as the last couple of episodes descend into incoherent chaos. And since the series is so nonsensical anyway, I don't understand why the series ends with the protagonist being transported out of the fictional world. It would have been better to just let it end more happily, especially since a Season 2 seems unlikely.
It is best not to take this series seriously and watch it for whatever mindless entertainment it offers.

Fun Little Palate Cleanser
This silly little drama is wonderful for when you're in between more serious, longer shows and wan to watch something cute before you start something new. The episodes are very short- about 5 minutes per instalment- and that makes it good to just binge and relax for a bit. It's very tropey, but that goes with the territory for this sort of show. It's more an adorable parody of the stereotypical transmigration drama, and thus it's infinitely more forgivable. My only real Gripe with the show is that our heroine is meant to be a music major, but for the most part the music is forgettable and the only reason to watch the two big musical productions at the end is because they're plot relevant. Beware, those viewers who are easily susceptible to secondhand embarrassment, because while the show is cute and funny overall, the musical sections can definitely trigger it.
But for being a small time parody drama, the acting was superb. Both Wang Haoxuan and Tu Zhiying have done a fantastic job with their portrayals, and where other actors might have seen the silliness of the premise and given half-assed, lackluster performances for the paycheck, neither of them have done that here. Even though the episodes were short, their chemistry was amazing. I'd also like to give a special shoutout to Yan Zixian for his wonderful job acting as my most favorite character in this drama, Liu Lin. I hope to have the time to check out his other projects soon!
Overall, the best part of this drama is it's rewatchability for it's shortness and cute plot. I plan to rewatch many times.

A wonderfully silly short length series
Another completely biased review from me to you. Lots of spoilery stuff below.First of all, this is a silly series and should not be taken seriously. If you want to watch something for any other purpose but total empty-brained entertainment then this isn't for you. This series does not take itself seriously at all, pokes fun at different tropes, breaks the fourth wall, is cheesy as hell, and so much fun!
Wang Hao Xuan as the ML was fantastic! He really played the part beautifully and proved that short length series can have wonderful acting too. The perfect innocent, slightly dumb ML.
I don't know Tu Zhi Ying at all but she was hysterically funny as the FL! She does physical comedy so well and just throws herself into the character. I love the way she always breaks the fourth wall! And the fact that she is obviously female but because she wears a males outfit that all think she's a guy? The gives us some fun scenes with the ML being so worried because he's carrying her around and of course his brain starts short circuiting lol
Yan Zi Xian is one of my personal favorites. I've seen him in a lot of short length series. He has played a wide variety of roles but never I haven't seen something like this before. The audio and visual gags for him were off the chart funny! The creaking rope sound whenever he was 'gliding' around people! When he walks around with his umbrella open and flower petals fall. When he constantly gets way too close and invades the senior apprentices personal space. Constantly! This guy needs a vacation, cause it looks like he has had 7 series released this year so far. Wow! And of course he is in my favorite The Spirealm
Just some thoughts while watching:
The senior apprentice was trying to find who saved him by carrying around a frog hairband and it was just such a perfect way to start this series.
Flying through the sky on a giant paper bird (?) and sword are so badly done it's laughable. But in a good way!
The whale flying through the sky or whatever it is at Yoon Clan was just a cheeky bit of fun that you might not notice but lol
The big bad demon female's name is Maggie? Really? LOL
And it ends with a game show? WTF, this is awesome!
OMG, dance off between demon Maggie and the other chick? And a really bad dance off too. Like really really bad!
Rock paper scissors? I especially liked the blood spitting when he lost.
The demon gang's music video performance!
The good guys team music performance was actually not bad.
That ending?!?
It looks like the cast must have had fun doing this. I wish I could find some behind the scenes!
There is so much to love about this series. I wish there was a season 2.

Rolling in tears
I am only at episode 5, but I am rolling on the floor, teary with laughter. It is such a funny, light, tongue-in-cheek drama/comedy!! The only thing making me upset is that the episodes are really short:(Not gonna lie, I signed up for this because of sweet psycho murder baby Wang Haoxuan, aka Xue Yang of The Untamed. I didn't expect much from the lead actress, but like her already a lot. Oh, this is going to be so much fun. Just what I need now. If I had to compare this drama to anything, this is like sitting outside a flowery tree during spring, with a nice cup of tea and cake. Pure enjoyment without anxiety bits.
