Both are focused on the glamorous lifestyle of the fashion insiders. Lots of expensive brand names and fashion parties! While The Fabulous is more centered around friendships, Celebrity is an over the top drama/thriller.

both have makjang qualities with lots of twists and dramatic turns. also shi hyun really reminds me of shim soo ryuns character in penthouse

Both have the same high quality production, each shot feels like a painting
Both have the “poor world mix with rich world”, the mystery, murder and female centered makjang

Both portray the high society and both dramas revolve around a female lead with a rags to riches story.
