Sarin takes his wife and two daughters, Sa and Su, to live in Chiang Mai, but he gets really sick and passes away soon after. The girls' grandmother sends Poom and her grandson Siwa to fetch them. Due to heritage reasons, she forced a wedding between Siwa and Su, even though Siwa has a girlfriend already. So he doesn't pay much attention to Su and Poom is the one always taking care of her.
