Trigger Warning
This show is really good, but I wanted to come here and give a trigger warning for anyone else who might need it, as I know that I would've liked to have known about this sooner: episodes 13 and 14 deal heavily with the suicide of a celebrity character. It's not necessarily a spoiler as it's something that was hinted at earlier in the show, but these episodes really dive into that event. If needed, in my opinion, you can definitely skip through the scenes that go into it a lot. As long as you know the gist, the plot still stands and you'll be fine just watching the other scenes.
I know that I wasn't emotionally prepared to watch these scenes after recent events, so I hope that this comment can help anyone else out there in my situation.

It is secret crush in disguise.
As I've watched until episode 8, I find the storyline is very interesting and easy to follow. Both ML and FL actually fall in love at their first sight, but too young to realize that. FL realize her feelings first. And they has been secretly crushing for each other. However, the stupid ML is quite dense of his own feelings, only able to admit that he like her from so long time ago, when he sense there's another person who is interested to FL. But, I really like how the script is written, and the side characters for this drama. I will continue to observe on how the drama will develop their story and update a better review here.

Invista nesse dorama, vale a pena.

Not Sure What This Was Trying To Be
There are times when you come across a something that may not be overly original or top quality but it really finds a place in your heart. Sadly though for me this wasn’t it.I’m not going to make out that this was the worst thing ever on television as honestly I’ve seen my fair share of good and bad productions. In fact I liked the setup and our main cast was certainly decent too. My biggest problem was probably the actual storyline and execution. It was slow to kick off, ( let’s not even get into that particular controversy at the beginning which really divided opinions on the show) overly predictable and generic with some of the tropes and characters and while I’m a sucker for a good rom-com it was hard for me to really feel as though there was something actually going on between the main leads.
Overall thoughts? I don’t think this is a bad on per say but this isn’t for me. It doesn’t really have that spark which makes it feel bubbly or nostalgic. I might try to pick this one back up but for now I’m moving on to other shows.

Cute but all-over-the-place plot
Really excited to watch this drama after seeing the cast lists and it has my favorite Kdrama actors/actresses. I tried to follow the 3 episode rule and im struggling to continue after Ep 1 since the plot is messy. Episode 2 was good since there was the Romantic Comedy that the audiences wanted to see, and we learn the past of the ML and Lee Sung Kyung. The side characters are kinda forgettable and no one stood out for me, I'm watching for only the romance of the main pair. Music, acting, and editing is good i guess.I feel like the kdrama has too much side plots for the extra characters, its hard to follow.. The comedy reminds me of Waikiki for the Korean slapstick comedy and dialogue, its a strong part in the drama. Romance is also good with the main pair. I recommend this drama if you like the casts here or want another Romcom drama.

One big bowl of Everything
The drama is likeable for great comic timing of the actors, especially Lee Sung Kyung and interesting premise based in the entertainment industry focusing on a star and everyone working hard to make that star shine. But even with trappings of a great drama, it feels a bit messed up.The drama cooks up various sub plots but fails to convincingly conclude anyone of them. Kim Young Dae is admirable, so is everyone in the support cast. The show does brings out some laughs and has that element of fluffy romance. It can be considered as a good filler watch after something intense, but that is all it is.
The inability of the story to evoke deeper emotions in a viewer because of of multiple storyline tropes with fizzled endings is the biggest culprit why this drama seem so haphazard.
The whole cast is definitely wholesome and likeable but there is only so much good actors can do for a weak story. The production quality is alright, nothing extra ordinary . That one song from the OST is really good and has the ear bug kind of quality.
The show has a very low re watch value but can be watched once at the very least.

A MUST WATCH
I just finished the series and oh my god it was so cute!!! My heart kept beating for the main leads. The story was amazing but I did have a little issues with how the bad plots were a little random and how easy they were to solve.
The acting was so good, I really felt connected to the characters.
The filming was beautiful, with all the colors and all the beautiful places in Korea.
The couples were cute. Han Byul and Tae Sung were cute especially after seeing how their relationship was before Tae Sung left for Africa.
Yoo Sung and Ho Yeong were adorable!! I couldn't handle it, I had to pause and breathe before continuing the episode.
Ki Peum and Soo Hyuk were actually an unexpected couple but I'm really happy how things turned out, they're actually good for each other.
Jae Hyun and Yoo Na were not so unexpected. What I didn't expect was how in love they would be.
Overall the show was really sweet and goofy, I really enjoyed it! If you haven't seen it yet then you should go watch it.

Rom-Sit-Com Comfort Drama
This is spoiler-free until the end and no major spoilers. Sh**ting Stars (still can't get over how weird this name is) was my intro back into kdrama as I had been taking sort of a break and the few dramas I was watching were cdramas. I was hesitant to start this because of that awful title and expectation of it being very cliché. I am happy to say that I was very much satisfied with this drama and it exceeded by expectations. The story starts off like a classic sitcom, or like a weekender type drama to compare to other Korean shows. Rather than a hyper focused linear storyline on 2 main leads, it has 6 main leads and meanders through the general scenarios of them all plus the side characters. I really liked this method - it felt fun and fresh and was used well to show how the characters interacted with each other. It was nice how most of the characters had individual and group relationships with each other, almost like an interconnected family. I also liked how the celebrities were treated more like colleagues and the final product was something the entire company works on together. The characters themselves were all super endearing and all felt very much their own. I really appreciated that they made the female lead someone very competent (and passionate) in her career. In fact, I liked how most of the main cast was were experienced in their careers - it just added to that collegial feeling mentioned above and was a fresh approach to the cliche rookie angle most dramas take (especially for female leads). The comedy was very a good mix of straight man, camp and slapstick that was very entertaining.
The acting for all the cast members was amazing and bring all the characters to life. The chemistry between the 2 main (main) leads was so sweet and general cast chemistry was excellent. The music was fun and zippy and really elevated the drama to give both happy and comfort vibes. The sound effects or little tunes were expertly placed and also added greatly to the vibe. It would be a decent re-watch. MOST important, I very much appreciated that the medical scenes in this drama was accurate! There is no mouth-to-mouth in CRP!
All in all, it's a fun, funny, sweet, energetic and entertaining drama about entertainment that feels like a family/weekender/sitcom drama and is a delight to watch.
Some thing points of contention (possible SPOILER): while the plot and pacing were clearly thought out and executed well, it felt like the drama had to undergo this total shift in tone to portray the heavier aspects of the plot around the middle, which made it lose some points for me. It shifts back to its original light-hearted and zany vibe towards the end but the tone shift is so obvious one of the characters even kind of lampshades it. There was one particular ship that I had a really hard time coming around too and it felt the drama itself was trying to convince the audience about this ship - I eventually came on board but it was still meh for me. It was sort of weird how many of the actors were 'discovered'/street-casted, like performing arts schools were non-existent. And the monolithing and stereotyping of Africa came off as pretty ignorant and tone-deaf.
