Tribute to all the pet and pet lovers out there

This episode was an emotional roller coaster, and the cast did a great job with their portrayal. Kim Kong and Kim Hun shared a genuinely beautiful bond. Kong ran off and tried to commit suicide. Their final goodbye was the most painful moment. This episode was a tribute to all the pet lovers. Joon Woong was in bad shape after meeting his sister and mom. Jade Emperor always gives the best advice. We also got to know Ryung and Ryeon's goal to be in the RM team.

Acting is amazing!

This was quite an episode to take in because of the acting. When the dog left, the dog teared. And i was absolutely bewildered. The editing team really took in effort to display the dog’s emotions very explicitly, and I applaud them for it. It made the episode rather believable, that even animals are not sparred from their sorrow—and that we should treat them equally; as they have a right to live, be respected and treated properly. However, it is confusing how the owner got to afterlife with white hair, contrasted with the army veteran with black hair, and in his younger days in the afterlife returning. It makes me wonder about the consistency of the plot. But that’s not a huge portion to deduct for.

Here’s my rant on one of the reviews for this episode. You may skip this if all you’re looking for is the review aforementioned.

I quote a review “But now we have a suicidal DOG! I mean, WTF? And at the end we discover that the dog can be reborn as a person! WHAT?!?!? So if animals can be reborn as people, why do we need a special team from Heaven to save people (there is police, suicide helplines, shrinks etc.)? This episode was FULL of this type of continuity errors! Is it too much to ask for some logic even within a fantasy…a dog and giving him a complex HUMAN reasoning (I am going to kill myself because I am a burden to my owner.)is too much, even for fantasy!” ??????????? the rebirth of the dog was 50 years after, and the review did not make sense at all. The special team is sent to balance the suicide cases (since it is certain that people who commit suicide -> crime -> hell). I can’t believe someone would make a review like that and I urge people to do proper reviews factoring all portions of the episode that were good, and those that were bad (if any). This review shows me the person regards dogs as unimportant when compared to humans, which was DEFINITELY not the message the episode was trying to convey. Furthermore, this reviewer is asking the dog & other suicidal people to call suicide helplines to solve their trouble. What? That just does not make any sense to me. If one is suicidal, seeking help is already a painstaking task to do, since it can be embarrassing and they can feel alone. The concept of a team from Heaven is to ensure these people know what they’re living for. To ensure they don’t go to hell. Honestly just wanted to make it clear that such reviews completely destroy the ratings of the drama, which are especially important in showing whether a drama is good or bad. Involving their personal feelings is redundant.

Painful and Impactful

Another great episode that talks about how animals feel instead of their owners. It really sheds light onto how owners actions can impact the pet. It reminds me of my own pets and made me reflect as they too are getting to the end of their time. I felt the raw pain and which led me to cry again. I felt that it really portrayed the bond an owner can feel with their pets and the sadness that not everyone can understand when they eventually leave us .

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?

I am so angry with them for wasting an episode and ruining the drama with a major plothole! So RMTeam was founded in order to save suicidal PEOPLE because in Korea there are too many people dying and the natality rate has hit the rock bottom. OK for a guiding line! But now we have a suicidal DOG! Is it too much to ask for some logic even within a fantasy drama? The dog was cute and the relationship with his owner was really nice: but he is a dog and giving him a complex HUMAN reasoning (I am going to kill myself because I am a burden to my owner.)is too much, even for fantasy!

Five Stars

Hehe... I'd never thought I'd be able to see the sequence of Junwoong dreaming that he was back home and being woken up by his family, to which it turned out that it was actually his team member instead. Since drama didn't really show that where the trio had been staying aside from their office (in webtoon, they've been living on the street before Yeomra gave them a trailer to sleep in). And I love that finally we're having people doing the running joke about Junwoong becoming permanent staff. That said, I still can't get used to the drama version on Junwoong's family. Since in webtoon he was actually the youngest and he had his parents and two older sisters instead of a mom and a young sister. But I guess having them meet up like this was a way for him to keep in touch with his family. We're getting the Dog episode earlier than the original order. But with the dog being so cute I can't actually complain about seeing it sooner www. I guess the earlier scene about Junwoong working for a bit at the editing department was to prepare for this episode. Since having us see the flashback clip for Kong was a way to practically speed up the back story of Hun and Kong's childhood memories up to the present time. And it makes me wonder if the cast really act with a real dog or there's also CGI involved because if it's a real dog, dangit the dog is really well trained. The episode was more or less the same as the original aside from some changes. I had so much feels! And yeay, we're finally getting the Western Sea episode! And it looked like both Breath and Western Sky plotline going to be combined together in the next episode. But of course drama would do this since the two arc were connected. Gonna look forward to how drama would deal with both of the stories ❤❤
