Sizzling chemistry between James Wen and Sonia Sui
This drama would have been a flop if not for the solid acting of James Wen, Sonia Sui and the veteran actors/actresses who played as their folks. The realistic slow burn romance between James’ ne’er do well character Jiang Chen Bo and Sonia’s combative character Chen Guo Fen adds a comic and light touch to the excesses of Weber Yang and Amber Kuo’s tragic soap story. The character of Jiang Chen Bo is atypical of a male lead in dramaland. He is neither rich, smart, successful, driven, tall or charismatic. Perhaps, this was why the director/screen writers chose the cheap move of directing attention to Weber Yang’s lack lustre character instead of expanding on the character of Jiang Chen Bo (as they should have done!).Cet avis était-il utile?
