The general story is very simple, a little stupid but somehow serious. Since the drama is principally a comedy, every episode is on its own, and every episode's story has a ingenious structure:
The episode goes on with its story, usually ignoring one of the main characters who is seen in the background, with one or two little moments that don't make a lot of sense; in the end the gang reaches magically the ending and then the episode loops back to show the role of the character previously ignored, linking him to the non-sense moments (clarifying them) and explaining the ending reached before. This structure is just wow.
The show nicely handles the comedic part and mixes it with some awesome drama. I almost cried on the last episode.
The ending was rushed and the series is only 9 episodes long which is a little bit disappointing.
The acting was really well done. It has a weird kind of humor, especially in the facial expressions, which was priceless. The characters were really good, especially Ozzy.
The music really surprised me. The soundtrack is actually really good, the ending is awesome but the songs in the music episode were meh.
This series can be easily recommended to anyone, it's accessible, it's hilarious, it's not something specific to a kind of taste, it's just: watch it and enjoy it.

The only thing I found that really bugged me about this show is that there was a little more than a plethora of innuendo. I enjoyed the characters and the story, but the excess of sexual content did get old to me pretty quickly. That being said, the show has a large number of really great points and is generally enjoyable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light comedy with serious undertones. If nothing else, it is certainly a show which shines an extraordinary light on the incredible value that is the gift of a very ordinary life.

Crazy fun and heartwarming story of friendship by the one and only Kudo Kankuro
If you've seen one Kudo Kankuro's drama, you know his style. Exagerrated comedy, quirky characters, jokes borderline (or straight up) offensive. But there's so much heart in a lot of his dramas, and Kisarazu's is one of the best. A group of friends tries to find meaningful things to do when they find out one of their friends has cancer and may die at any time (there's VERY few moments of grief here, and those moments are very brief. It is NOT melodramatic). Which means, doing crazy things that teenage boys (and more grown-up men) like to do. Their adventures are insane and made me tear up from laughing, but in the end the bonds between the guys are what make it shine. Yes it is crazy, yes it is fun, and can be hard to follow at times (as typical of earlier Kudo Kankuro's works), but it's well worth a watch.Cet avis était-il utile?
The cast were actually good. The best character is Ozzy. I also like the Bussan and Miss Mirei. The friendship of Bussan and the gang is genuine. The meh characher for me is Mohko,i always annoyed when i see her.Sometimes i annoyed with the overeacting Master. At least ,their acting is good. The sound effect is just moderate.
I would reccomended you to watch KCE if you liked light unusual cancer patient person story.

The stories were funny, educating and emotional at the same time.
I cried a lot! Especially the last episode. I just stopped watching to finish crying coz it brought back some memories of mine!
They were more than friends.. brothers I'd say is the appropriate term.
Japanese bromance are really unique. This was on my watch list for such a long time and now I think that I should have watched it the first time I saw it.
Definitely recommend this one to bromance lovers.
It is going to be a full mark for me! 10/10?
