Jakarta (2000)

Not a bad crime/comedy movie

Watched this when I was in the mood for something fun and light. At first it seems that the story is going to be dark and cynical. But by the end you realize it’s not the case. (Ok, maybe it’s a bit cynical). Can’t really say too much about the plot without spoiling too much. It’s enough to know that it’s a heist movie.

The humour is plays a big part here. Some jokes worked and some didn’t. But enough of them worked in the end.

Lastly, this movie is quite old. Production values have increased a lot in twenty years!
