P2 of S1 is much more serious than P1. And very whumpy since Wumei is - let me think - stabbed and poisoned, he almost drowns, then he's bed-ridden because of said poisoning for several episodes - and then he gets also shot on top of all that. Not to mention all the emotional whump. Lovely :PWhat I really like about this drama is that despite having a bunch of gorgeous guys wooing for her attention, the FML doesn't waver, not once. Luojing loves Wumei. And that's it. There's no love triangle, no oohing or aahing about whom she should choose. Nothing like that at all. For a "reverse harem drama" that's, well, unique.
And Wumei! Once he finally admits to himself that he fell in love with this "little fool" as he calls Luojing - well, she calls him a "barbarian" - he's willing to move mountains for her. He goes as far as defying the emperor himself. Wumei and Luojing are so... so... mwah!
The finale is a clear set-up for S2, all the chess pieces are moved into place, the Big Bad(TM) is finally revealed, there's more plotting on all sides - but Wumei and Luojing are determined to face the upcoming challenges together, he gives up the throne for her, she gives up her chance to go back to the real world for him. Let their story commence!

Cute, Sweet Comedy
Summary: Like the story of the Romance between Rose and Tiger, this is a comedy fun ride. If you looking for a light drama. This is it. Start off with the Season 1 and download iQIYI . Reminds me of Oh my Emperor or Eternal Love 1 and 2.Pro:
- Great Chemistry. The lady doesn’t kiss well but she has great chemistry with the main guy.
- Light-hearted drama. It’s cute and a fun ride.
- Some original plot

- some scenes can get tedious, but main lead’s perkiness and aura fits just right.
