Amazing

This show made me cry for a serial killer - that takes a massive amount of talent and skill. It was so well done, the acting is amazing, the story left me guessing and praying as to who the actual killer was, it was just amazing. There are some parts that strained credulity, like I just couldn’t buy into it as even remotely plausible, but they played an important plot role, so it ended up being well done. There were some parts where I couldn’t tell if it was a flashback and got a little confused, and one part where it seemed to just jump to something entirely different without explanation. I wish that had been clearer. It’s possible I just didn’t understand due to not being fluent in Korean and mostly reading subtitles.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed it; I was glued to the screen every minute I possibly could be, and was thinking about it when I was not. Just an astounding acting job by the two male leads. I am not usually into scary stories, but I loved this. I want to watch it again to see what I missed the first time around.

*SET THE BAR WAY TO HIGH*

lemme inform you first before you watch this kdrama you might have a really hard time finding your next kdrama after this, it took me like 2 month to get over this. LSG played the role JBR way too well it was like 3 characters (his own personality, JBR personality, SYH personality) he deserve a raise. And i usually always yearn for a second season in LSG drama but for mouse i don't even need one the ending is just top notch unlike other kdrama which ending was really rushed it felt like it was really well-written

Good premise but mediocre output.

The OST is God-tier. But the pacing of the show was not good. They would introduce new things too slow or too fast. Prime example is OZ and the Law about Psychopth genes. Yes the plot twists were good, it made me believe Yohan was the killer (Though I knew from the start JBR killed Chikook at the beginning). It was a good show overall but the predator 1 and 2 shouldnt have been special episodes and rather it shouldve been integrated within the show. It may be my own opinions but I wished they couldve added more to the childhood scenes of Yohan and JBR.

Nice storyline with a high predictability.

When I started watching this, I really wished this one to be something I really wanted at the moment. When it up to the first episode of this k-drama it hooked me in a higher position, and I really felt that my heart skipped a beat. But I must say that second episode onwards the story was normal and there were nothing comparing to the first episode. I could not really explain whether it is because there were a lot of details in the first episode or rest of the episodes did not include enough details. Apart from that fall, when it's up to the story almost all of the incidents of the k-drama became upside down, but I really could not say that storyline was really matched with the incidents. First, they showed that the almost all of the crimes were done by someone else but finally they showed that all of them were done by the main male lead, there was something cannot be happened at the same time when it up to the crimes and crime prevention. There was nothing except to his own memory and there was nothing other than his own evidence and no one ever suspected him about anything, how can this be possible. I predicted it from the first episode only because of one of the promotional posters, there was one poster including main male lead sitting Infront of a victim and that small glimpse gave me such cliche and made me to suspect main male lead as the suspect but even though I watched almost all of the story knowing what will happen next but none of the incidents were really acceptable within the time that main male lead got. Simply put not only main male lead but also the god will not be able to do those each and every crime and crime prevention incidents at the same time especially in the TV SHOW episodes of that K-drama. It means the culprit do the crime same time and whining on the culprit same time and change each and every clothe and blood stain and cover each and everything very nicely while helping the cops to catch himself. Finally, he succeeded pretending the good person while ending the real good person's life while the brain surgery even though he is unconscious.IS NOT THIS RIDICULOUS? IF THIS IS NOT RIDICULOUS ENOUGH NOTHING WILL BE RIDICULOUS ENOUGH FOR YOU. Not just because I watched this with a hunch of what will happen, but the story was ridiculous with my hunch and finally my hunch of "main male lead is the culprit" became something ridiculous. But near the end they showed that my hunch is correct and culprit or the male lead have somehow managed to do each and everything at the same time. A viewer who did not have a hunch like above can really accept the fact that the male lead is the culprit but me who guessed each and every thing correctly and watched this with that hunch cannot accept that above fact because there were many falls when it up to that fact because I can clearly remember each and every incident with crimes very clearly because the story did not match with the flow of incidents. Somehow, I am not going to reject this as a crime thriller k-drama as I already said that the imagination and the story as well as the flow of incidents have their own perfections but when it came as one there were some unacceptable moments that cannot be matched even though we try hundreds of times. I really appreciate the perfect skills of the actors and actresses and their harmony and chemistry as a whole.

“Mouse” Thrills with its Mind-Blowing ...

One word : masterpiece
The Korean drama Mouse gives us an insight into psychopathic killers. The dark theme of this drama, coupled with the fact that Lee Seung-gi is the male lead, caught our attention.
Lee Seung-gi in this drama was phenomenal. The way his true character was revealed and how he executed that change was a thing to watch. He delivered perfectly what was asked for the role. His tears, guilt, sadness, and regrets shown in the penultimate and finale episodes were magnificent. The way his emotions were expressed through the character was truly worthy of praise.

Intelligently made

I enjoyed watching this drama. It is rare to see dramas put the spotlight to an evil character and this drama pulled it off too well. The murders of the serial killer was well thought of, intelligent, and mind blowing. He has really no ounce of empathy left in his heart. I also love how they didn't make him seem like he turned evil because of his past but actually evil because he chose to surrender to his thoughts. Although I was quite disappointed when the serial killer got amnesia and forgot his indentity, and I was complaining the whole time on why an innocent character like Sung Yo Han has to die being labelled as the serial murderer. Anyways, I give all the applause to Lee Seung Gi for delivering his character so well. The characters were amazing too, specially Go Mu Chi. However, it gets a little confusing to me when the story keeps on getting tangled to more details that could either answer an existing question or bring another puzzle to make sense. Overall, this was a great watch. I enjoyed the murders (I may look like someone who enjoys killing but that's not it), I think they were really detailed and well written. I could have enjoyed this more if it weren't for spoilers I saw on TikTok (that's why I knew beforehand it was Jang Ba Reum who is actually the serial murderer).

GOOD DRAMA BUT SO MANY THINGS HAPPENING THUS CONFUSING

Contains Spoiler!
I didn't expect it to be this intense and "complicated." It is a good story, I am not gonna lie. But the thing is the show is trying to be several things at the same time and at some point it gets confusing. The acting is very good, every actor and actress is amazing tbh. OSTs weren't really memorable, they didn't really leave an impression on me. There were so much background info and stories about almost every single character so you have to pay attention. Sometimes even though you do, you might still get confused. Also, personally, I really like Kyung Soo Jin, but I feel like her acting wasn't really good or maybe she didn't really fit the role I am not sure but it kind of kept catching my attention, especially in the episodes before Bareum's recovery from that fight with Yohan. Lastly, it's a long drama, 20 episodes, but it also kind of feels rushed. (?) It was still a good drama though, but a lot of things happened, I am not sure how much I'll remember though.

sad reality

Excellent series! But so confusing after episode 15!
Idk if it’s possible to really identify a psychopath gene, but I think that even if there is, not every person with such a gene will become a psychopath - a fact. It all depends on upbringing or its absence, the society in which the person lives, and also the attitude of parents towards such a child before, during and after pregnancy. Any person, even with the best genes, in a bad environment and a bad attitude towards him, can get angry at others and start taking revenge. And this is also a fact.
And it is not the children who are to blame for the set of genes, but the parents who produce these genes themselves .. so you should not blame your children, but yourself first of all.
I didn’t even know who to think after the 14th episode who is to blame if not Son Ye Han, although at the beginning of the film, when Jung Baryum met his father’s eyes, I realized that most likely it would be him! True, they then showed only his good side, which was misleading and nevertheless became a discovery after his operation who he really was. It’s a little pity for him, it turns out he wouldn’t have become like that if it weren’t for his childhood and the attitude of the people around him who used him for their own purposes and provoked a number of cases in his life that led to such consequences. He felt and saw in his eyes how they treat him, with apprehension, hatred, any normal child would feel just as uncomfortable, so it seems to me that initially his mother’s attitude towards him during pregnancy was transferred to him, + the relationship with fear of his mother and mother he lived in a constant lie, it is not surprising that he grew up not like everyone else! I didn’t like most of all that people who knew (the organization that used him) about his condition and genes provoked him to kill .. if he knew everything from the very beginning, perhaps he would not have become like that. On the other hand, this is not an excuse for him, he could control himself and not succumb to bad desires .. but still the roots of his problem, why he became so in relation to people towards him, is in education. I think everything would be different if his mother would give him love and instill this feeling in him from childhood and also raise him correctly and not give him to another woman .. what kind of mother is this!? It was easier not to give birth.
I liked the fact that he nevertheless gained humanity thanks to the operation and wanted to change and confessed to everything!
Even Detective Muchi and OBoni had some sympathy for him after everything that had happened but it was hard for them .. they can be understood. I don’t even know what would be the correct outcome, but whatever one may say, he is also a victim in this story, although he is a killer. What pissed me off the most was that Choi Shin, the head of this organization, allowed him to kill only for the sake of future election ratings .. ended up as well. See got that for what she fought for ..
it's horrible ! We can say that she is the main criminal who used a sick person for her own purposes.
Although there is too much violence in the script itself, to some extent it looks real and very sad .. so terrible is the selfishness of several people here who, because of their unhealthy idea, have crippled the lives of so many people! And these are people in power .. it’s even scary to imagine that this is an indirect message that in reality it may also be that we simply don’t always realize it.

Innovative storyline

A very unexpected topic. As most supensful koreans dramas, the director did a godd job as he is very subtle in hints he gives throughout the series.

Unfortunately once the light has been made, plot as well as the performance from Lee Seung-gi tend to go downwards. It is not about the ending but how it was conducted. As well he does a perfect job in the first part and second part of the drama but it wasn’t that investing towards the third act.

Dig up other characters would have been better.
