Felt so odd...

Hmm... Where do I start...

The drama is good but is it only me or the drama itself felt so oddly fast... Everything keeps happening without a break... I think this is the FL's debut in acting and second drama for ML... He could have done a better job... The story is good but it lacks those subtle scenes that gives life to the story... The drama so far has only been around the ML's and FL's fighting, The best friend's hidden love for the big brother of FL...

It short... its bearable.. I can watch it till WeTV release new decent drama... The drama is 30 episodes yet more than half of the total episodes, the story still shaky.

Burst of cliches!

Started this cause it seemed to be full of cliches (it definitely was) and I was in the mood for that. It had almost every cliche you could name but that worked out decently well, however, towards the later half of the drama it seemed to drag for me and got boring.
I kinda felt bad for second male lead here LMAO but the second female lead was literally unbearable ? very stereotypical evil second female lead and all her scenes were annoying however they weren’t that important to the plot so there’s always the option of skipping them. The Secretary lead the way for many misunderstandings between the leads but for the most part these were funny and added humour.
The male lead was fine but he was over possessive at times which was a damper the first half was better than the second half at least from what I saw. Overall it was an alright drama especially if ur in the mood for cliches

A female lead with an endocrine disorder?

I’ve been watching Hello Mr Gu and Please Feel at Ease Mr Ling in tandem, not least because – at least on the surface – they’re similar in premise. I normally watch Korean dramas and so am used to the rich/cold/jerk male lead and thick/childish/poor female lead tropes. But where dramas normally have – or attempt – character development, Hello Mr Gu does the opposite, at least in respect of the female lead.

On the plus side both leads are very decorative.

The actress is young and hopefully she’ll get better but I’m currently on episode 24 (of 30) and, if anything the FL’s episodes of sulking, glaring and pouting seem to be getting more, not less, frequent. Among the things that have raised her ire recently are (a) being sent chocolates by her boyfriend (she’s not a diabetic) and (b) her best friend and brother dating. Very little, or nonsensical, explanations are given for these near-endless temper tantrums and in the last episode it was made clear that the CEO boyfriend, her best friend and her brother are full on scared of her and/or her anger.

Will the denouement be that she has a personality or endocrine disorder? I won’t probably make it that far.

Sebenarnya saya tidak suka cerita seperti ini, karakter FL terlalu kekanak2 an sedangkan dia sudah mahasiswi. FL karakternya dibuat terlalu mudah marah marah kesal, tidak peka, tidak pandai menganalisa keadaan, terlalu egois. FL dibuat terlalu polos, lugu, sangat percaya sahabatnya tidak mungkin suka kepadanya (terlalu tidak masul akal, lawan jenis selalu bertemu biasanya salah satu jadi mencintai sahabat sendiri). ML karakter terlalu percaya diri, tidak menyadari dirinya egois juga, sangat kaku dengan pemikirannya sendiri. Terlalu banyak pertimbangan. Eps 16/17 jalan cerita sudah menyebalkan, terlalu bertele2. 30 episode sedikit kepanjangam untuk jenis drama ini, setiap episode tidak terlalu padat poin ceritanya. 2ML nya dibuat membodohi diri sendiri, wanita yg dia suka sudah berpacaran tapi masih di ikuti/mengganggu FL yang tidak sadar kalau bestynya suka.
Yang pasti dramanya tidak bagus, saya coba menahan menontonnya sampai eps 22 itu sudah bagus

Ho perso completamente l'interesse

Inizio molto carino, ovviamente con tutte le premesse e i clichè classici delle storie cinesi di questo stampo ma mi son detta non sembra malvagio. Premetto che da più di un anno avevo adocchiato questo titolo ma una certa persona me ne ha bloccato la voglia a lungo: peccato che non le abbia dato ascolto fino alla fine.
ML è l'unico che riuscivo a salvare fino ad un certo punto, quando mi casca completamente con discorsi e comportamenti ben poco carini che hanno più volte messo in dubbio il mio "attaccamento" a lui. Il resto si faceva vedere ma:
1) protagonista insulsa, con ben poco carattere e che a volte fa delle sparate da bambina delle elementari che ti fa venire il dubbio sulla sua sanità mentale
2) migliore amica la cui attrice non sa recitare unita al fratello di lei che proprio una bella roba sono...
3) migliore amico che in realtà un po' di pena me l'ha fatta (ripeto, protagonista sei idiota?)
4) episodi su episodi su episodi di nulla cosmico per farli mettere insieme e poi tutto a rotta di collo.
Ci ho provato a finirlo, ma la corda si è spezzata e non ho tempo da perdere.

Although there was lots of ups and downs in their relationship and Gu Nanzo makes confession really late, overall I really liked the episode. The ost's were really good especially loved the opening theme song. There was lots of really good romantic scenes in the last 10 episodes and ending was really happy. Both lead actor and actress achieved there dream of a successful animation series. To be honest I really liked the lead actress alot, can't believe it's her first drama and she is only 20 years old. Her confidence level was really high as veteran actresses, better than lots of female actresses I saw in Chinese and Korean dramas. I also really liked her brother, friend and especially the Gu Nanzo's mother. They were really supportive and it was Nanzo's mom who has a big hand in their romance, unlike many mom's of lead actors who want there son to marry rich girls from really wealthy families. The scenes were shot really well, there was bit of comedy scenes and it was a light drama, although her friend liked her but he didn't do anything bad to break of their relationship rather helped Nanzo.

What I don't like about this drama is the writer making Nanzo have personality like a two year old child. He discovers that he likes the FL in episode 14 and it takes him 7 episodes to say I Love You, even he doesn't say that but FL says first. Moreover the starting seemed really fake, FL doesn't even know the ML but because he pays 2m debt that she owes, she starts living with him and starts a fake couple agreement. Like who does that in 2021? The writer could have made other ways to make them cohabitate and make the fake couple agreement in a realistic way. Then the ML's female employee was really annoying and she was a complete loser. She knows that Nanzo doesnt like her but does lots of things to break of there relationship. The writer should have focused more only the last 10 episodes, it was very annoying, they get into relationship and after every two episodes they start having fights and want to break up. Another thing about Gu Nanzo which I hated a lot was that he never shared any of his problems with the Fl, hides alot of things and this was the main reason why they had fights. In episode 27 when the FL almost gets raped, she calls Nanzo for help but he doesn't care. Like the writer could have made a really awesome scene where Nanzo runs to save her and she forgives him for the rest of his life. And the writer could have shown the last three episodes cute romance scenes and a wedding scene. Plus the second leads were shown too little although there relationship was better the leading actors but should have been shown more.

Overall I enjoyed the drama alot, the FL was awesome and her confident seemed like a novice actress. If Gu Nanzo's character was more brave, confession was in ep 15, ML's female employee was not that annoying and FL acting more maturely too then this drama would have gotten above 9.

Cute and Sweet Story

Well, I typed up my whole review only to accidentally refresh the page and lose my original review so I'll just keep this short.

This is a perfect drama for people who want something cute, fluffy, short, and light-hearted. It's a very cute drama and I loved the chemistry between the two leads. There were some annoying misunderstandings and of course, I was so irritated by the female second lead. However, I did have a problem with the pacing of the drama. I think they should've gotten together earlier on so that they had more time to resolve their problems and show more cutesy scenes of them being in a relationship. In addition, the second couple ended up being neglected in the later half of the show. I didn't mind that much since I wasn't too fond of them, but it seemed weird to me that they had a decent amount of screen time in the first half, only to mostly disappear in the second half of the drama. Overall, it's a cute, sweet, and easy watch. I would re-watch when I'm in the mood for something fluffy and light-hearted and with nothing else to watch.

Cliché but 101 Recommended

I know some type of chinese drama like this obviously too predictable and the story is kinda cliché but what I love about this drama is even the story is too common they still hooked me up to the point that the character's chemistry is undeniably! You can't stop watching from the first episode. ? They are so cute together. I love the second lead too but I can't deny Mr. Gu's charm haha. The intro OST is so cute and I'm vibing to it.


All in all, the drama is so adorable and for those who are looking for a drama with no too much toxic problems just go with it. ❤️ It's such a fluppy romance comedy like Put Your Head On My Shoulder.

Another cute fluff and stuff drama!

This is a cute, light, fluff, and stuff drama. I really like this show. Even though it has a typical storyline.

Storyline - not original but was good. It flowed smooth and kept my interest mostly in the romance of it. I really am grateful for there being no parents involved or really against their relationship. A little bit of love triangle but not to bad. Just enough to make me want to kick someone’s butt!?

Acting/Cast - I think they did a good job. A bit stiff in some areas. I would look for more shows with the leads and watch them again. I would like to see how they grow in their acting.

Music - I liked the music as I do all Asian drama music. It has become my favorite to listen to since I started watching these dramas.

Rewatch - yes! I would. Because it was light and smooth and I good romance! No parental interference that makes my blood boil! Haha I tend to hate shows like that.

Podría ser este el PEOR drama chino que he visto, casi casi
No me molesta el cliché en lo absoluto, me molesta como trata de normalizar actitudes toxicas. Odio la personalidad del protagonista masculino , la forma en que la trata, todos a su alrededor saben que el se comporta horrible con ella y aún así ella piensa que él solo con hacer una cosa buena por ella ya "no es tan malo como parece" es patético.
Yo pensé que no podría desesperarme e irritarme un protagonista mas que los de cualquier versión existente de "itazura na kiss" pero me equivoque. El es arrogante, grosero, mal educado, violento, narcisistas pero hay que perdonarle todo porque, ¡oh sorpresa! tiene problemas, así que permitámosle que la protagonista se enamore de el solo porque si y no porque realmente tenga méritos para hacerlo.
Esta historia es horrible y lamento perder tantas horas de mi vida viendo algo como esto.
Creo que es hora de enterrar el cliché del protagonista masculino patán que enamora a la protagonista por magia del guion y falta de amor propio y darle chance a historias con relaciones sanas y estables.
