Cha Eun Woo

Foi um episódio muito atraente, mas não me prendeu de início. Estou lendo a Webtoon para ter uma melhor experiência. O que será do Cha Eun Woo?

Great introduction to the characters layered with fluff

Surprisingly good start for a webtoon that seem hard to bring on screen. Female lead turning into a dog may work on paper, but making a drama out of it is not a hard job, yet the production team made it happen. Yes, it's quite obvious when the dog is CGI and when the dog is real, but with hot the directing has this over the top feel to it, it did not bother me at all. Overall, it seems like a really fun and light romantic comedy that will be a great pacemaker for more thriller and action dramas currently airing.

The Perfect Seo Won thanks to Cha Eun Woo

The cast perfectly portrayed the characters. Just as I was imagining them the moment I read the webtoon. Especially, Cha Eun Woo's micro expressions! Seowon hiding his despair, self-pity, and jealousy is so on point that my heart goes out to him. This really shows how introverts are so misunderstood. You really cannot predict what they really feel unless you actually pay attention!

SPOILER ALERT! [6,5/10]

This is a refreshing episode filled with the overwhelming cuteness of furry friends. It's an effective introduction episode that outlines the mechanism of the dog-transforming magic and the brief history of the birth of the curse. Our main character, Haena, is a high school teacher who has never kissed. She has (possibly unrequited) feelings for her colleague, Mr Lee, who is a dog lover. On a teacher's night out, she gathered her courage to confess but mistook Seowon for Mr Lee and kissed him. For the first time in her life, she became a dog. In a conversation between her sister and the sister's boyfriend, we learned that once they turn into a dog, they will become a dog for 100 days maximum from 12 AM to 6 AM. If they keep transforming after day 100, they won't be able to transform back into humans again. The thought of turning into a dog permanently scares the shit out of me. I feel bad for Haena's uncle who failed at countering the curse. He's stuck in the body of a cute golden retriever, but he has a few months left to live. In order to break the curse, Haena has to kiss Seowon in her dog form. I was excited to see how she'd make him kiss her, but I was disappointed when Haena wanted to get him drunk so he could kiss her. She could've done it by making him fall in love with her (which I think will happen in the upcoming episodes). After countless attempts to score a dinner with Seowon, the latter finally agreed. I enjoyed everything about the episode until the dinner scene came out. Not only that Haena want to make Seowon crazy drunk so she could get on with it, but she also spiked Seowon's beer with soju. That's fucked up. It's disgusting and I hate that scene a lot, especially after Seowon said he gets drunk easily with soju. I think he should've realised something was fishy about his drink because soju has a strong distinctive smell and taste that is so different from beer. But Haena took advantage of the situation and spiked his beer with soju, it's her fault, not Seowon's. When Seowon is drunk, Haena is ready to get into action. She turns into a dog and is waiting for Seowon to sweep her fluffy body into his arms for a kiss, only to find out that the man is scared of dogs. Terrified, actually. Well, now she has to find another way to make him kiss her. And I hope it has nothing to do with Haena making Seowon drunk so she can kiss him without his consent again.
