they have a similar plot of weak boy getting strong but in this case lookism is a body switching one

Not really anything alike apart from the fact that body switch is possible, a good watch and not too long so if you have a short attention span/ want to binge watch then this is good for you <3

Similar theme of having two bodies for one soul. When the other slept the other awake. Both tackle the problem of appearance. But Debut focused more on dreams as a star. Lookism is more than that and a bit more complex.
You'll have some relief watching Debut. As it's about idol, they have some great OSTs too.

Both dramas deal with school bullying, delinquents, and fighting.
Both dramas derive their source from manhwa (Korean Comics).
Similarities are only in themes and not in the story itself.

MCs leading a double life, and people treating them differently based on their looks. They make genuine friends in the process.

No body switching in Shadow Beauty like in Lookism though.
