Love or Bread (2008)

It's ok

The story is a bit slow, and some characters are annoying.. ML's comedy acting style is a bit exaggerated. I'm not expecting anything like the previous drama of this couple but if you watch it just because you are expecting this to be the same as the previous drama, don't waste your time. It's a complete opposite version of ISWAK and TKA. I didn't got hooked by this drama unlike the ISWAK and TKA but I appreciate Joe Cheng's effort to change his image from being a Cold Genius doctor to a Rich Man Troublemaker who's a troublemaker in this drama. Good Job! It's just the plot that's not suitable for their acting

To see Joe and Ariel together in different roles was amazing. I loved that the writers went with bringing out their comedic side. The role reversal of him needing her was well executed. Some of the scenes they filmed etc were beautiful, especially the night scenes.
It did get a bit draggy in the plot, mostly I am not sure what they were going for in the middle, it took from the show in my books. They left us with an ending that is questionable.... Which is why I do not have it as perfect.
Would I watch it again? Yes I would, will I review it in a blog? Yes I would Would I recommend it to people? Yes I would.
