okay wait why did this actually eat

It got 8.6 stars out of 10 from me. The first two moons got a 9 out of 10. The two moons got an 8.5 out of 10, and this one as well got an 8.5 out of 10. Four days later, I knocked all of them out. I think this one isn't even that bad; people just rate it badly because it's not the greatest, but that doesn't mean it's not good. It was a pretty good show, and the chemistry was so much better in this one than the other two. That's one thing this 2 moons did right.

But once again, this was not needed. They could have definitely made this into its own show; it didn't need to be connected to the other two. The goofy cliffhanger finally got resolved around episode 6, which was good to see because that's why I started watching this one so fast. I was going to take a break, but I started and finished it today, because of that cliffhanger, lol (I say lol in this a lot).

I am also glad they didn't really make Phana being a moon a big deal. They mentioned it, sure, but I am glad they let our new characters shine, and it was a needed wake-up call with Lom losing, like a badly needed one. Im glad they didn't make it so Pha outshined him in any way; they were just cousins who thought of each other as brothers, which was cute. Okay, I am going to check out my instagram close friends highlight of 2 moons 1/2/3 lol.

The first thing I posted 10 hours ago was about the need for season 3. Like why? That's so much for the plot to be exactly the same for each of them. And then I had to try and put names to faces because it was once again a new cast, and I was struggling. The new cast was actually pretty good-looking, but I missed Joong Archen.

Beam and forth's chemistry was so much better in this one. Beam was so much better in this one, lol. The other two did my boy so dirty. And not to mention Beam's actor in this one was so sexy—oh my god, the way he looked and spoke—and oh my god, bro, it wasn't even funny.

Then we get to know Lom more, and he was talking to a pig cow thing, so I called him a Disney princess, because why the hell would he be talking to animals otherwise? Ming was being weird with the water scene, lol, but his actor was so fucking built; my god, he had an amazing body.

The actor who plays Tatch looks like Gawin Caskey or Fluke Gawin Caskey, and I kept mentioning that to myself. His being jealousy of the cousins was interesting to see and just mad embarrassing for him. "Okay, Gawin Caskey." Was my motto throughout these episodes. Then I got the side-by-side, couldn't even tell the difference between the two.

Lom's character became more likable, and I fell in love with his and Tatch's really good chemistry. Their story was a mashup between Wayo and Phana and Ming and Kit. That's kind of what I got from it. The childhood lovers, one-sided at least, were Wayo and Phana, and the whore era was Ming and Kit vibes. They had some banger sex scenes too; the way they did them was just so fantastic, and it's always good to see a good sex scene. Once again, they were killing it, mainly with the body movements and the head tilts.

I thought the twins were played by the same person, but they are actually twins in real life. I mean, same, but that was so hard for me to wrap my head around. The detail on Pharak with him trying to commit suicide and the cuts were a good detail that I almost missed, but that was really interesting to see.

Then I saw that 2Together called and they wanted their jerseys back. It was funny in my head, I swear, but no, that was giving the jerseys from 2gether.

Then our boy, Tatch, kicks a trash can into the car, which was really funny to me, and I still don't understand why. Bro finally put those long legs to use, I guess. In the infirmary too. The twins were fighting, and I was laughing the whole time because Phorn, or Pharn, was trying to finish Phark off like he was the Joy Joy Gang in Dark Deception Chapter 4, bro. I even got the side-by-side. That was very funny, lol.

Then the two friends of Lom were dancing at his party thing, and that was cute because their little moments were very cute to see. Then I was manifesting that Pha proposes, and he does, which was cool to see, and that's really it.

So yeah, in summary. This could have been its own thing. We didn't need that many moons. But what we did get was a lot of good chemistry, a good-looking cast, more real-life stuff, and yeah. I liked it, so I would recommend it because, just like the other two, it was a pretty light watch, and the cast was light on the eyes, so yeah. So go for it, if you want to, if you don't, than don't lol. okay bye!

cringe and pointless plot with frustrated cheesy romance

Oh god, what the hell was this? I lost every cell of mine because of too much irritation. This series is fucking worst. Seriously, what the fuck do the BL series writers and makers eat? They cannot even write better series. They are twisting story with fake reality. They are doing anything to drag a series up to 12 episodes. Logic and reality are totally fucked up by this series. I want to start a petition to boycott this kind of series. I make a request to the writer: "Please stop writing this kind of series; we are already tired of this kind of pointless series."

Reality vs. Reel
1) Who the fuck thinks someone is hitting their boyfriend while playing football? Don't they watch real football? obviously if you r best player then they try corner as much as possible. if Messi isn't corner by 5 player then how the fuck he is not going to best player. if Messi is kick by some player then Messi should kick that player as well because he is trying hit Messi wife? what the fuck with this logic?
2) tatch has clearly stated that he is not interested on manfah but she is like desperate women who says you cheated on me. oh god where the fuck is logic here.
3) How the fuck is everyone gay? Is that a gay university? Isn't this fantasy too much? There are many logic-less moments in this series.

good point
The kiss scene and sex scene are great. Only this is good in this whole series. it is romantic one.

I haven watch 2 moons 2 because it says read it is sequel of 2 moons but this is worst series i have ever watch. it took 2 hr. to complete whole series. it is actually fucking worst than tharntype and an long nhai.  seriously when the fuck they are goping to make series with sense and reality.  I don't want to write anything more than this. I don't recommend it at all. one of the most irritating series. Why are there so many cringe moments? Why is it so cheesy? why high budget series have low class story? Oh God, my frustration is killing me after watching this series.

A series that wasted a good story based.

The very original "2 moons" was the third university based BL that i watched after Together with Me and SOTUS. What i can say, this third remake/continuity of the original story has become a mess.

1. The acting was so bad despites their line up of good looking actors.
2. Audio problem. I have a sensitive ears. There are several scenes that audience can differentiate the layering of audio in the scene with something like voice over. You can feel it like he is talking behind your ears.
3. Storyline, dialog are messy, unorganized and weak.

In conclusion, do not waste your time for watching this series. Thank you.

Give it a shot, just don't expect too much

I started watching it when I came across a short clip on YouTube Shorts. Honestly, I heard of this a couple months ago, but I didn't watch it when the episodes premiered because I didn't have plans to. I heard a lot of toxic comments against it, so that is probably one thing that hinders me from even starting to click on episode one. I initially thought this was a waste of time and boring. In fact, when I finally started watching it just a week ago, I wasn't quite hooked after the first episode. There was nothing spectacular in the first episode. I expected it to pick up where the first season left off. It didn't even bother touching a bit of the story that made the last season a cliffhanger. Not until episodes 2 or 3, if I'm not mistaken. Also, there were parts of the continuum of the story that didn't quite make sense, which is why it lacks an interesting hook in the first episode. However, something pulled me when episode 3 came, or at least the part where both the leads, Tarntatch and Lomnaw, began their rivalry. I know it sounds cliché in most BL series, but the way they made it different shed light on the previous episode's boredom. Usually, when the trope is like this, they fight against each other to compete for something. This time it's different; they fight against each other to lose something. You have to watch it to find out. I won't spoil it here. Just picture this: whoever plays Tarntatch and Lomnaw has amazing chemistry. I have heard a lot of negative stuff about this series, mainly because of the diehard fans of the actors from the previous season. If I were you, don't listen to them and give this one a shot. I just have to warn you though that, like any other BL series from Thailand, this is not that high on the budget, but you will be amazed at how they were able to pull off a good scene, which usually requires money because of the location and props. I truly believe that this series has the potential to go big. Personally, my issue is not with the actors. I have seen a lot of old actors from a certain big company who don't have much improvement in their acting, but with good looks, they are able to have some fans. They actually have pretty big fandoms, and until now I still questioned why. On the other hand, the actors here seem pretty new to the BL industry but have really big potential. I just thought that the problem in this series lies in the writers and director. Some scenes were not necessary, but they were still added. I also notice that they didn't put much weight on the situation when Wayo was avoiding P'Pha because of that cliffhanger scene from the previous season. I believe they should have made it darker because the tone of that part of the story in this series is already dark enough, but only to be treated just like any other story. They could have made P'Pha strangle those bodyguards just to show his intent of going after Wayo who is avoiding him out of shame. They made P'Pha someone who would go against everything just to be with Wayo but these are all words and few actions. That is why it leaves me wanting something. The scene actually just passed by, and I was kind of waiting for it to be a bit bigger and more dramatic because that was the continuation of where season one left off. Unfortunately, they came up short on drama. Even if the actors can't quite do well with it, they should have added more scenes and dynamic blocking to make it appear dramatic. Also, they did not give so many lines for them to utilize. I have problems with their dialogues because many times you expect them to say something only to be dragged to another scene or frame when they are about to do so. I don't know if this is a deliberate cut, an editor's problem, a problem with the writer, or a director's interpretation of the scene. So if you are someone who is very keen on details, I would recommend you watch this to support the actors and not expect anything big from this. But mind you, the actors who played Tarntatch and Lomnaw have really surprising chemistry. I'm living for it. Up until now, I've been surprised that they are a match.

As a stand alone story, I ADORED it!

Yes, I know this was the long awaited for 3rd part (sorta) of the Moon series. But with every new season, also came new casting, for me it was just too hard to deal with. So I'm judging this on a stand alone story.

I absolutely adored it. It's light, fluffy, with easy drama and LOTS of lovey dovey, sweet moments. There is fun, silly banter, with plenty of innuendo. There is lots of flirting too. If you are looking for that kind of romance, this is the series for you.
It's one I will definitely come back to, when I want something I don't have to think too much about, but can sit back and enjoy the romance and lovey dovey cuteness.

Everyone learns to communicate with their partner, and the dramas are short lived and dealt with in a mature way.

The make-up spice, & 'lets heat things up' spice timing felt natural, and gives us just enough to be satisfying without going too far over into NC land. What I really appreciated was that they acted like they (all the couples) really liked each other, and wanted to be with each other intimately. Which to me is just more natural, and how we act when in a loving relationship. We WANT to spend lovely moments both in and out of the sheets. lol Many times we get a one time only make out scene and nothing the entire rest of the series.
Some of the kissing was a bit awkward, but I always overlook that and chalk it up to new actors. lol .
There were a few moments when this mature woman blushed. :)

Every couple gets air time, the established couples have all their sweet moments, as well as a bit of drama to keep things lively.
The new couple is entertaining, and cute. And once they admitted their feelings, they were ALL in. I like that. I loved their height difference.

The villain storyline isn't too overwhelming in badness, and it all ends well. I didn't have any smoke coming from my ears, nor did I yell at my screen while watching. It's always nice when I can just enjoy the show. I also love when the jealous rage is not about the girl.

The girl who plays Manfah does a stellar job in her cry scene where she is trying to hear and believe the words Tarn is telling her, and still keep her emotions under control. Her disbelief and tears were prefect. She was very believable.

I really appreciated the wardrobe, especially in the bedroom. The choices just make sense. I always hate it when after a sweet romantic night, they get out bed either fully clothed, or with jeans and belts still on. lol

Overall quite good

Well, I loved the original 2 moons and couldn't stand 2 moons 2. Barely watched the first few episodes and just gave up. So i was a little skeptical about this one too. I was persuaded to give it a try and I would say I am glad I did.

The storyline is a little under-developed. I still do not know what beef one of the twins had with Tarntach, lol. Was he into Lom or is it that he did not like that his brother's girlfriend liked Tarn, or is it that he was jealous that the brother's relationship with Tarn was so close?

I wouldn't say its an enemy to lovers series. Its more of one side crush at first and one side hate. The relationship development between Lom and Tarn is quite smooth though. I am not a fan of the break-up to make up scenes so am glad after they got together they stuck together till the end.

For the other couples, I have no idea if there was any story since I did not watch 2 moons 2 but I loved the cast. Ming's jealousy was getting out of hand though like that one time he was all in Tarn's face cz of the football accident. It was an accident dude, get a move on. No-one's trying to make a pass on your boy, lol. And Wayo work on your trust issues, you've been together the longest, your relationship should be more steady.

One thing I loved so much about this series is the nc scenes. They are the definition of slow sensual goosebumpic make out scenes. I could feel the love and I would say they are among my top nc scenes for the year.

You should give it a try, in a new light minus the negative bias from 2 moons 2 and you might like it.

AKA 2 Moons 3 AKA 2m3 - a trope riddle mess, but I like the main couple anyway

Tropes: E2L, obsession, popular/nerd, university set, pining seme, sunshine/sunshine, openly gay seme, bisexual uke

A Thai pulp that felt like it came out 5 yrs ago with many of the flaws inherent to that time and studio system, including manufactured angst and convoluted plot, but an ultimately sweet main couple that (as a pairing) feels a bit more modern and is satisfying to watch together.

Random additional thoughts:

Basically we open with a recap of 2 moons 2 (NOT 2 Moons original), some are scene for scene re-shots, which acts as an introduction to the new actors in the same roles.

Pairs are:
PhaYo - uke has glasses
ForthBeam - no distinguishing features
MingKit - uke has braces
But these are all side couples, and we have a different new main couple of loser moon + ultimate hot guy too-lazy-to-moon, TatchLom.

Gay af Tatch has a huge crush but only knows how to neg. Honestly, this is so common in BL it should be a seme character archetype.

This BL pulp acts like a show that came out 5 years ago (considering the source material I'm not at all surprised). It’s full of ALL the flaws & tropes:
faen fatale
stilted dialogue & bad sound
blushing maiden trope
awkward acting & stiff (in the wrong way) physical chemistry
nonexistent yet also convoluted plot
punching down humor
They even have the thing where the boys’ makeup on jaw line isn’t blended properly.

On the bright side, when the main couple starts liking each other, they communicate properly, talking about why they behave the way that they do, and why they flirt that way. It’s actually a really sweet relationship. They also both have nice wingman, and friends trying to be supportive and giving them good advice. The main couple gives me Nitiman vibes only with better resolution. No bad thing, frankly, I have a soft spot for Nitiman.

There’s a noted correction for dub con, permission around sex, and one of them is openly gay, and his not liking women turns out to be a defense and a plot point in a good way.

There is a lot of unnecessary manufactured drama and angst. For the sides this was basically the definition of their plots and they intersected not at all with the mains, so you can safely skip them. The plot is dumb.

That said, a small part of me enjoyed some of the drama around the twins and Tatch’s broken friendships prior to university, and I wish that was more of the whole plot and we got less of manufactured misunderstanding couple angst. That said it descended into some TharnType Mame level kidnapping nonsense at the end.

This will probably go down in history as one of the few BLs where I genuinely didn’t care about any of the side couples.

its waste of time

omg side couples are so uncomfortable to watch... i just want to ask why its already 3rd time they are making 2 moons and they somehow messed every single one...they should just stop now. only the main couple was my drive to complete the series otherwise i would have dropped it on first episode.. especially wayo and phana its so uncomfortable to watch them with there off chemistry and below avg acting.

Not the best Two Moons

I should start out by saying that the original Two Moons was my first ever BL, so I am a little skewed in favor of the original cast, with that said, even from an objective point of view, this was not the best Two Moons. From the top, the story wasn't bad. It was a continuation of the original Two Moons cast but add in Lom and Tatch. The story wasn't terrible, just cliche. The actors weren't terrible, just well, inexperienced. It does bother me that the actors didn't match the physical types of the characters from the story. I think Yo was actually taller than Pha or around the same height and build. I'm not saying that they should always perfectly follow the orginial, because you should base it on acting ability, but if we're basing this on acting ability solely without considering the physical characteristics at all, they should at least have gotten more experienced actors and worked a little on chemistry. Speaking of, there was no chemistry at all between MingKit, PhaYo, or ForthBeam. At least the TatchLom pairing did have chemistry, so they did an okay job with that. By the way, since Lom is supposed to be Pha's cousin, why did Tatch get the arrogant prick gene? His beginning treatment of Lom was so much like Pha's treatment of Wayo from the first season that I felt like he was possessed by the ghost of Pha past. Luckily he changed faster than Pha did, so you at least had a believable reason for Lom to start liking him. The music was nothing special. Not bad, not good. Rewatch value is low, because to me the story didn't stand out.

I can't talk about Two Moons without comparing it to the books, which I read (a translation on Wattpad by permission of the original author, but they did a good job before it got taken down and moved to a new site). Going by the books, the 3rd series was well ... I don't know how to describe it. Off. Crazy, Wrong. Taking a different direction. Oh well, you catch my drift. It was not what was in the book, BUT we did get to see the scene with Pha testing Yo and then proposing (which grates on my nerves to this day, like I seriously wish that book was never written). As in the book, Pha treats Yo badly, hurts his feelings and ignores him, then says if you can handle this and still love me you passed my test and we can get married. In this series, we get a much better response from Yo, where he tells Pha that he can handle all the times they can't be together because of work but he doesn't want to feel like Pha doesn't care about him. Then Pha apologizes (still half heartedly in my opinion, because Pha will always be the most arrogant prick ever) and proposes. So at least the writers in the series knew that ending with Pha being a complete d**k was not the way to go for that part of the series. The scenes between PhaYo, MingKit, and ForthBeam all seemed a little forced and weird. Like, where were they intending to go with this? Just ruin the relationships between all the characters, put them back together again as if nothing happened and call it a day? What was the point? We should have all just stuck with Season 1 and been happy. So overall, not a waste of time, but if you're a big fan of Two Moons, you will probably be disappointed.

Don't believe the synopsis

I watched 2 Moons and 2 Moons 2. I was extremely disappointed. So at first I decided not to watch this one. But then I was like, what's the worse that can happen, right? At least I can say I finished the set. But I was in for a pleasant surprise! First and foremost, do not believe the synopsis. It's completely misleading. Yo's story is just a passing mention when Pha tells Lom about it. Suthee is not there. None of the previous characters are in major roles. This story belongs completely to Lom and Tatch. And what a story!
Let me be really clear here. 2 Moons was sort of okay. 2 Moons 2 was a disaster. But The Ambassador was really well done. It had a 'Enemies to Lovers' trope. Pretty done to death, but gave me a seriously nice feel. Something like 'Why R U?'. Let me get into the story.
Lom loses the University Moon contest and that's when Tatch walks into his life. Suffering from something like a victim's complex, and hating Tatch were for turning up late to the university and not being in time for the selection process of the Moons. And so for the next contest, he guilt trips Tatch into participating. But Tatch is clear, the game has to be fair and square. Then starts the war between them. A bit of a backstory here. So Tatch had seen Lom at the consolation part that his friends threw for him after he lost the Moons. Knowing that he has a crush on Manfah, Tatch does anything and everything he can to get Lom's attention. Slowly finding himself more and more attracted to Tatch than he thought, Lom is wonderfully surprised when Tatch confesses, thus starting a beautiful love story.
What I found most interesting in the series was the level of communication Lom and Tatch have. They don't tend to prolong their problems and talk stuff out. Lom trusts Tatch completely and doesn't believe anything anyone says about him, which is fairly surprising in itself, especially in Thai BLs. Usually, we see constant miscommunication and misunderstandings galore, but Lom and Tatch are so into each other, and so much trust, that it seems almost unbelievable at times. Tatch makes no bones about his liking of Lom, and once they start dating, can't seem to keep their hands (or lips) off each other. They are constantly showing their affection, and serious PDA. It is not like one sad dead fish kiss and one sadly disoriented NC. Instead we get extremely cute and hot kisses and seriously well fleshed out NCs, which actually look like love making scenes (the expressions on their face is so natural and damn sexy!!). Damn! Maybe I should go back and watch.
As for the remaining couples, the lesser said, the better, except maybe for Forth and Beam, who seem to have maintained their sex appeal in all three versions of this series.
So all in all, I would recommend a one time watch, at least watch Bandit and Mark. They are just too cute and spectacular together. And the height difference is so NARAK!!
As long as you can ignore the sorry messes of the three returning couples and how after so many years together, they don't have the understanding that the new couple has, then feel free to watch this show just for Lom and Tatch!

Sincere Attempt

Yes I made an account just to review this show. I have been a huge 2 Moons fan in the past - some of you might remember my KimCop videos on Youtube that are now gone due to my account having been hacked ??
Anyway. This series is obviously bad - but I'm willing to give credit where it's due: the lead actors are sweet and authentic, as well as pretty, and you won't have a hard time believing they are actually head over heels for each other - though there is no real build-up or reasoning to it. They're just dating all of a sudden.
Another redeeming quality of this series is that the idea of homosexuality appears to be a lot more normalised as opposed to the previous Seasons. There's no huge coming out scenes or dramatic epiphanies. Men fall in love with each other just as a man and woman would. The second male lead, Thatch - played by Danny - is gay and he knows it and is unashamed of it - this is especially refreshing because he is the token College heartthrob types of Thai Dramas. This was a nice touch in that the setting of this season is a few years after the previous seasons, and a change in attitudes is palpable.
The show focuses of the Faculty of Agriculture and not Medicine, Science, or Engineering, as you see most of the time in Thai College-based BLs.
There are a LOT of NC scenes. Almost 50% of this show is just beautifully and creatively shot sex ? It's nice to see the cast and crew not shy around the topic a d implement it as frequently as possible, making the relationship dynamics between horny young men much more realistic.
However, the cons of the show substantially outweigh the pros.
The characters of the 6 moons are absolutely obliterated. They do not resemble the original characters in the book or even either of the two previous seasons whatsoever, save for maybe Forthbeam. It's jarring: the characters supposed to be Phana, Wayo, Ming, Kit, Forth, and Beam are not at all the characters we know. Admittedly, that's not on the actors - they've clearly tried their best, and I would love to see them in other projects. The problem is in the poor casting, lack of chemistry, and the all around side-sweeping of the characters until they seem rather pointless to the main plot.
Speaking of the plot, there barely is one. Nothing makes sense and events don't complement each other as they should. The motives and objectives of the characters are unfounded and confusing. The friendships and cliques are all over the place. I don't know if it was just me but I couldn't name a single side character until the very last episode. The whole good and evil twin plot is so, so stupid, and it's highly disappointing since the Series as a general rule handles tropes and stereotypes rather maturely.
There are random impartings of wisdom from any and all characters, and it's almost amusing.
Overall, this show is good for perhaps one casual watch, and that too for existing fans of the series. I personally don't consider a part of the "2 Moons" franchise at all; I like it better that way.I do wanna see more of Danny and Mark, preferably together.
