The road to stardom is rocky. Even with talent and hard work, success is not guaranteed.

I began watching this show because Wu Jia Cheng was the main actor. I have enjoyed watching him perform as a member X-NINE, and several other shows, such as Oh, My Emperor. It is a shame that the only way to watch this is on Youtube, and the sound cuts out from time to time; because this show has a great storyline, as it leads the audience through the many ups and downs of becoming a star. It is easy to get attached to all the young men, struggling for success, and disappointing when each is eliminated. I would compare it to “Racket Boys.” Wu Jia Cheng did a great job portraying an unskilled dancer and singer when the show begins; as he is actually highly skilled. I look forward to watching this collection of young men in future acting roles. I found the show well worth watching for people of any age.

the story of a talented pianist who overcome hardship to become a superstar.

This genre type is not what i usually watch, but it was a pretty good drama overall.

Talks about the talented pianist Gu Yang, who is forced to give up going to Julliard music school due to his mother's lack of finances. He enters a competition to debut in a boy band. HIs good friend Lin Chen also audiences and get in. Lin Chen has always felt like he was a shadow to Gu Yang. LIn Chen doesnt understand why Gu Yang need to audition to be in the boy band when he was already accepted to Julliard, thus causing a rift in their friendship. He befriends Lu Xing hao who is good at singing and Zhao zheng nan , with their help Gu Yang breaks through his old self of just knowing classic music. He becomes good friends and helps them out when they are in need. Also finally in the end he also mends his relationship with Lin Chen.

Its a good story of building friendship, and being there for one another, and seeing what an idol in training goes through.
