Eun Soo was funny, cute, even clumsy to me. She brightens up the scenes of the dark, Goryeo. Princess No Gook? VERY pretty.. I like her melodrama romance story with the king. At first I thought there would be a love triangle between Eun Soo, Choi Young, and Jang Bin. But, I was totally wrong.
The other characters such as Hwa Soo In, Eum Ja (the flute guy), and others were exactly supporting roles who only have 4-9 lines per episodes. And, Choi Sangoong, who was supposed to be only figure role, has a LOT more lines more then them.
I like the mixture of romance, historical, and fantasy in this story. And also in this story we didn't have to worry about 'the changing the history' thing because most of the time Eun Soo act more like a clumsy girl than a doctor.
The ending? Perfect, masterpiece. Of course if you have watch Operation Proposal, Rooftop Prince, Queen Inhyun's Man, and Dr Jin you would be a bit bored of the genre 'time-travelling'. But trust me, this one's different.
Aside from that, I also found this story dragging and sometimes boring of actions and politics scenes, but that's okay. Because ALL historical dramas have those scenes. IF you DONT watch historical/sageuk dramas, better skip this first and watch Dong Yi or Dae Jang Geum. There you will know why the characters are bullshits, lame, but smart.

I myself have never been huge on melodramas or frankly over dramatized shows, and at first I decided to only watch Faith due to Lee Min Ho. But I am very glad I picked it up again and finished it! Although there is a lot going on in this drama, everything leading up to the last 5-6 episodes is worth the heartaches and tears and pain you may feel throughout this show.
There is most definitely romance in this drama. Although at first it is only very light, their relationship develops slowly but it's so bittersweet, you can't help but fall in love with both Eun Soo and the General as well as with the King and Queen.
Although I am quite disappointed with how things ended, there could have been more. More romance, more... everything. A better conclusion, but that is the only thing that bothers me.
The cast is fantastic. The only actor I have known prior to Faith was Lee Min Ho (whom I absolutely loved and adored in this drama! His best work yet!!) Also the Queen, whom has been portrayed by Park Se Young. She made a minor role in Love Rain as the girl trying to steal the main love interest away, so I detested her. In Faith, however, I love the Queen. Strong willed and hearted, she won't let anyone command her - not even the King.
At first I found Kim Hee Sun's character Eun Soo quite irritating and annoying. But who could blame her?! She got kidnapped and sent to the past; I would be whiny and angry as well. At things developed, Eun Soo managed to adapt to her situation and I fell in love with her. She is a very strong character, and I couldn't imagine anyone but Kim Hee Sun portraying her.
The music was beautiful. Faith's OST is brilliant. My all time favorite OST as of today (in all accounts). At times possibly set a bit awkward in the show, but for the most part the tracks were played perfectly. While they were playing, you could feel the characters' emotions when they were hurting. Or when something big was about to occur - you simply knew it by the track. Things were gonna go DOWN!
Rewatch value is an 8 due to the fact that I do not often re-watch dramas, especially when my to-watch list is so long. But Faith is simply a drama I will buy on DVD and rewatch very, very often in the future.
Overall this drama receives a 10/10, because... just because. No questions asked, best drama I have watched.

Every event, every romantic gesture, every action butt-kicking scene, every evil bidding were all so GREATLY, beautifully and outstandingly done.
I admit I only started watching this drama because of my HUGE love towards Lee Min Ho, but I was astonished by all the other characters and the whole mind-twisting plot.
I came up with many theories to explain the reasons behind these chaotic events, but ofcourse, like most epic korean dramas, I would never guess those reasons.
It had a perfect ending though. And totally unexpected.
You should totally give this drama a try if you like having numerous consequent heart attacks until the last 30 seconds xD

It started out as a great drama where a surgeon from the present day was dragged by someone and travel back into the past. I feel that there had to be a strong reason why she was brought into that time; like making amazing medical discoveries or helping more citizens with her medical expertise. But it turns out that everyone are after her for some power which she did not posses at all.
The first few episodes when she fooled the bad guys do seem like a great storyline but it gets boring, having the same conflicts again in the next episodes.
The ending - I had hope that it will be something different but was disappointed. It's not even heartwarming.
In summary, I do not really enjoy this drama but I wouldn't mind seeing Lee Min Ho and Kim Hee Sun acting together as they really have great chemistry.

The acting was amazing. I enjoyed the chemistry b/t the 2 leads. I also enjoyed the fact that they didn't over or under act their parts individually. The supporting roles were played exceptionally well & not a single 1 was unnecessary.
The fact that they were able 2 explain Eun Soo's trip 100 yrs further back into the past, & it actually made sense made this the best time travel drama of the yr 4 me. The others were a little weak in that area.
I rly enjoyed watching this & will re-watch it in the future. I suggest that if ur looking 4 a drama that is exciting & has an ending that will make u happy; then watch this drama. The characters will draw u in & the writers have made sure that u won't be disappointed @ any point throughout the drama.
Now 2 gush about Lee Min Ho, & be a total fangirl. OMG he killed me! I know he is a good actor, but damn! I fell in love w/ him again. I can't wait 4 him 2 do a new drama, b/c I just don't think I can live w/o him right now.....LOL! OK I just had 2 let that out.
Serial! Watch this drama not just for the eye-candy, but b/c it will draw u in & not leave u wanting. ENJOY!

The cast was amazing - everyone was so well suited to their role, the music was great and the storyline was both unique and thrilling.
I would like to see more like this as the whole theme of time travel facinates me.

Entonces empecé con mi cruzada, vi: The King, después: Boys Over Flowers, The Heirs, The Legend of the Blue Sea.

One of the aspects I particularly liked is that there are two love-lines. I had no idea the love triangle was such a big deal in Asian dramas when I watched this, and I am not a fan of it. I found both love stories to be well done. I thought the supporting cast was very good with a favorite being Court Lady Choi. I also managed to learn an amazing amount of history as the writer weaves this story together through actual history.
Complaints I've seen about this drama usually involve Kim Hee Sun being whiny as the doc. I think she gets a raw deal and if you stick with it you see how she grows as a person. I think she maintains her modern mindset more than any other time travel drama I've seen, and I like her level of feisty. Also, the time travel element....it never makes sense in any drama I've ever seen and gives me a headache. I just go with it.

Definitely had the potential to be a great drama, sadly the story dragged a bit and some of the scene just made me go uhhh what…? Definitely repetitive at some parts which made me want to pull my hair out.. but I still got hooked on it anyways! I think I would really go on and watch more historical dramas!
Acting/Cast:
Loved the main characters and the supporting characters! I really enjoyed Hee Sun and Min Ho’s acting. I did wish they had more chemistry though.. Some of the scenes didn’t make me go aww... which was a shame. Oh I really became attached with the supporting characters and I felt that their acting really improved overtime which was really pleasant to see.
I really only have 1 complaint in regards to the acting… The fighting scenes were very painful to watch at times… It was just so… yea.. I really don’t have words for it. SOME were good but others were so horrifyingly bad…
Music:
I have always been a sucker for OSTs and I loved the OST for Faith. Matched the mood of the scene and it played a big part in drawing emotions out.
Re-watch Value:
I would re-watch it only if I didn't have anything else to watch or if i am Lee Min Ho deprived! Lee Min Ho in his costume? <3

I didn't like how the story started, and I've never been one to like historical dramas, and I disliked most characters in this. Seriously. The special effects and armor were kinda bad.
Then around the middle of it I started to become more attached to watching it and actually liking the character development. Also the story line got more interesting.
At the end I was very satisfied with all the characters (including the king which I thought was the worst out of it). The story line kept it interesting until the end. Like most dramas the ending is always cut short only not giving me satisfaction of 'years later' or any hint of what the characters would be doing after the conclusion.
My advice is if you're into historical dramas with a small amount of fantasy you will probably love it.
If the beginning had a better direction and the ending wasn't cut short so much my rating would be higher. Not a bad watch if you can get through the first 4 or 5 episodes. I don't think I'll rewatch it anytime soon, but the action is decent & the characters grow on you.
