Two of Duo Luo's assassins come for the emperor, but Fang Zhu, Zhuo Ying, and Hai Shi are able to fend them off. In a twist of events, Zhuo Ying goes after the emperor and escapes with Hai Shi going after him. Due to the strenuous chase, Hai Shi's old wounds resurface and the doctor attending to her tells General Fu that she is a woman.
