Again the male leads are both in Chief Kim and play really good roles as dark characters.
They deal with crime and law and prison and provide really good storylines with plot twists (though Doctor Prisoner definitely had better plot twists)
There are much stronger partnerships in Confession which makes it less of a one-man fight, but there is still corruption and a large power difference between the good and bad guys.
I hope you enjoy!

Doctor Prisoner centers around an ace doctor in a university hospital’s emergency care center, a skilled professional who treats his patients with full devotion and without discrimination. However, his medical license gets suspended as a result of a medical malpractice incident that arises when the hospital board director causes a ruckus. He then gets his certificate as a medical internist and applies to work at a prison, where his plan is to cozy up to all the bigshots there—business tycoons, celebrities caught for doing drugs, sports stars guilty of gambling—and to win allies, with the ultimate goal of getting revenge against the hospital that ousted him. To do so, he’ll get rid of the existing prison chief doctor and claim the spot for himself.

Both dramas revolve around revenge theme against the rich and powerful for what they believe in. The protagonists both have to use their wits to not fall into the antagonists' control and traps, while trying to convince people of their intentions and gaining allies. Both dramas contains much suspense although Doctor Prisoner may be a bit darker than Graceful Family.
Both are revenge dramas. Both male leads prepare themselves for a long time to get perfect revenge. And the main reason they both have similar vibe is because both the male leads never lose their game throughout the drama.
