"Let Me Introduce Her" had a very suspenseful start but soon became my least favorite style of melodrama. The story tried so hard to be shocking that characters became cartoonish, and hard to continue to take seriously. Sometimes campy melodramas can be fun for me to watch, but this soon became boring and hard to finish. I expected more of a thriller, based on the first few episodes, but instead got an overdramatic family drama, with unhinged characters and an underwhelming plot. Maybe some of this has to do with cultural differences, so some of the character's choices made absolutely no sense to me but may resonate better with an actual Korean audience.

The cast was pretty good, but I felt like a lot of talent was wasted. Nam Sang Mi and Kim Jae Won had decent chemistry, but the romance story became subdued and even dull once the story focused more on the melodrama. Jae Won played up the smiley nice guy role so much that his portrayal of Dr. Han Gang Woo seemed very one-note and even at times uninteresting to me. However, it's the character of Ji Eun Han that'supposed to drive this story, and Nam Sang Mi's performance wasn't strong enough for me to do that. Lee Shi Ah's performance felt much more exciting so the shift to a more subdued Nam Sang Mi was a dramatic change. It was almost as if Sang Mi was just too chill to play such an emotionally complicated role. Especially a role where the character has and makes such drastic and contradictory reactions and choices. Also, despite them trying to imply that they were similar, these two actresses were just too drastically different to be considered the same person at all. No plastic surgery in the world is that magical.

One talent in particular that felt wasted was Lee Mi Sook, who knows how to make the most out of a melodramatic character, especially this kind of mother role, but her performance felt more interesting than her character was written to be. Detective Kim was similarly underutilized, and the story was less interesting when he was less involved. Jo Hyun Jae was good as well, even when his actions were written in a way that made him more laughable than emotional. Also, Han Eun Jung did her best to play up the drama of her character, as written, but that made her character seem laughingly ridiculous by the end, and hard to take seriously. I also think the cute banter between Jung Jin Woon and Lee Ho Jung is worth mentioning as cute but wasted filler. Many of the minor characters, including the kids, were good even if their character wasn't written well.

That takes me to my main issue with this drama, which is the writing. It's not that the story doesn't make sense, but it's sensationalizes everything so much that I couldn't take anything too seriously, or emotionally connect at all. The drama surrounding a cell phone and a song lasted for so many episodes, which made the story drag. The music was often sinister giving even mundane conversations an extra dramatic feel. It made it seem like they were trying to force a suspenseful feeling at all times, which backfired on me. I did think the "Save Me" song was pretty, and although it also felt extra dramatic during certain scenes, was fitting.

I'm doubtful I would watch this again, but maybe I would be more forgiving with a second viewing since I now know what the story is really about. My high expectations at the beginning made me more disappointed at what it turned out to be. Lower expectations during a second viewing may make me see this drama differently, and see earlier scenes differently. Maybe it would be less likely to bore me if I binge watched instead of waiting each week for new episodes, which I lost interest in keeping up with.

Overall, if you are interested in this drama based on the romantic mystery sounding synopsis, know that this is actually a wealthy family secrets centered melodrama that takes on a serious theme in a very senationalized way. Romance may drive the story, but it isn't the focus, so don't expect that part of the story to be very exciting, especially with two calm and repressed characters. The action feel during the early episodes doesn't last either, and that slowed down the pace for me too. Every question that arises in the story is eventually answered, and there's is a satisfying ending, but I still had a hard time with the pace of the drama, and with the story continuously holding my interest. Don't expect clever twists, even though many parts of the story aren't what they seem to be initially. If you have patience with the story everything pays off, but I'm just not certain that it was worth the price of watching. For a drama about amnesia, it is pretty forgettable.

Change yourself into new person after plastic surgery by the hands of Dr. Han Kang Woo.

This was a clever suspense drama which revolved around a woman with full of secrets.
The story is fabulous. It is well paced and with enough suspense to keep you look forward to next episodes.
Jee eun han was so struggled that she lost her memories after her plastic surgery. It was as if she wanted to forget everything in the past and start new life with new face. It also helps her to meet Han Kang woo. Their chemistry in the first few episodes was great, but later it just got lost & felt forced.

For me, I watched this drama for Kim Jae Won. He performed brilliant. He could devote his life to the person he loved without expecting anything in return. And also there is another saver for this drama - Jo Hyun Jae. He was a lost person who was a result of wrong upbringing when her mother left him in care of other persons. Lee Mi Sook was great as always. You will get puzzled till the end whether she is negative character or positive character.

The sour spot for this drama was Nam sang mi. Her demeanor was kinda forced and artificial. Nam sang mi can't play complex character and her acting makes Jee eun han monotonous, while Jee eun han performed by Lee She Ah shines in that short time of hers. Jung soo jin seemed evil to the core as Han Eun Jung is pro in these kinda roles.
I wonder who is that kid played Yoo jin. he is such cutie.

I loved the music and songs. They matched with the theme of series.
Must listen songs- Save me and Snowball.

Overall, it is watchable at least once.

Wow!!! I’m going to start by praising the cast members especially Lee Sia (Eun Han Before the plastic surgery), Kim Jae Won and Lee Mi Sook. They did an amazing job in pulling you into the drama from the beginning. The other casts too did beautifully. Before I start the review, I’ll just say, if you’re looking for a romantic show that’ll give you butterflies at every moment, stop now because this isn’t the show for you. This drama is a very suspenseful drama. There’s no heart quivering romance here.
Now that thats said let’s begin the review:
This drama was very enjoyable to me, right from the beginning I was hooked. I loved her character in the beginning but after the plastic surgery it felt like she lost all her charisma. I had a love hate relationship with the female lead all through the drama. Sometimes she was smart and strong and other times she was impulsive and weak. The two male leads on the other hand were great. Manager Jung was all in all a piece of work. Her ending befitted her. My only big issue with this was the reason he kept beating her didn’t make any sense to me ??????????? and this story could’ve done without the clingy ex but Oh well, If you’re into Suspense, this is for you! All I can say All in All, I enjoyed this drama and I recommend this. Don’t let the low reviews get to you, watch the first two episodes and decide.

Hello! I’ll make a “preview review” of Jo Hyun Jae’s performance as a villain in!dramas. I wish with this to make an account of the evolution of Jo Hyun Jae as an antagonist and as a villain, and as he has done so much talent show off and how, unfortunately, he has not been recognized with an award and I wish your sincere opinions as fans and followers of this fan page (I wrote this for Jo Hyun Jae Fans Puerto Rico).

Jo Hyun Jae as Addie Kang (Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek)

This is the first attempt to characterize Jo Hyun Jae as an antagonist, which was a "lite villain". Addie Kang was a character who was driven by the ambitions of his father, and to please him, wanted to try to win the heiress daughter of his advertising company. The character turned out to be mediocre, despite the impressive and overwhelming presence of Jo Hyun Jae, so I see that unfortunately his talent was not used to the fullest. Perhaps, because the producers feared that this one would do the "cross-over" to more complicated roles, and not to take away his clean image of a romantic heartthrob, for fear that later the public would not accept it. And in this life, you have to.
take risks

Jo Hyun Jae as Prince Myongnong (King's Daughter Soo Baek Hyang)

His performance, drunk, in front of the painting of his real father, as crown prince in "King's Daugther Soo Baek Hyang", was the trigger for the producer to suggest that he try to be a villain in a forthcoming production.

Jo Hyun Jae as Han Do Jun ( Yong Pal)

Yong Pal is a drama that caught my attention, for the quality of the actors who participated in this production, especially Jo Hyun Jae, who was impersonating his first role as a villain. He characterized a classic villain, in an excellent way. He was a rebel with a cause, rehabilitable, who could have been saved by the scriptwriter, instead of killing him so cruelly. I realized that the drama really revolved around Han Do Jun, the character of Jo Hyun Jae, so much so, that it was necessary to add additional chapters, in which Do Jun was a "hallucination" of his sister, the product of the guilt of having sent him to death. I had to understand that Han Do Jun lived rebelliously. That he was the eldest son, but nevertheless, not the heir. And that his father had the blame for the crooked way in which he always treated him. I am very hurt, because this is the first real villain that characterizes Jo Hyun Jae, because in "Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek" characterized a "villain lite", a mere antagonist who didn't get his way, an inferior character for the great talent shoed off of Jo Hyun Jae and the reason why I'm hurt is because his effort was not recognized in the annual awards given on the television network. They never recognized his great effort with an honorable mention. He sacrificed his romantic leading man image and clean man, to characterize the evil and Machiavellian Han Do Jun, which in turn, the thirst for love was the cause of his rebellion.

Jo Hyun Jae as Kang Chan Ki (Let Me Introduce Her)

I had to watch the last half hour of the drama with subtitles, in order to understand it better. I could do it last night. Now I am convinced that Kang Chan Ki is mentally ill and is also a pathological liar, with traces of bipolar disorder. totally alienated from the reality. My biggest congratulations to Jo Hyun Jae for this great character and for his great acting skills. He is not a pretty face trying to act. The stage of flower boy idol and Prince Charming has already passed! Now he is a respectable great actor! But there is a similarity with “Yong Pal”. In “Yong Pal” Han Do Jun was a bad guy with a purpose. On this occasion, the psychiatric illness of Kang Chan Ki has a cause. In Yong Pal was his father and in “Let Me Introduce Her”is his mother. I hope he doesn’t leave us waiting for a long time to see him again, showing off his talent. Let's see what will happen in last episode.

Ji Eun Han is a beautiful woman on the run from a hired assasin. She has slash marks on her wrists, evidence of the depth of unbearable pain and grief she bears. Despite that, she demonstrates innate strength as she fights for her life with the skill of a martial artist. But she is dispiritedly exhausted from running. In desperation to elude her pursuers and change her life, she chose to have a reconstructive facial surgery. However, due to a complication after surgery, she loses her memory. She now faces a double dilemna. She determines to walk a dangerous path to find the mystery of her past life and regain her memory by entering the lion's den, the house and the people she had escaped from. What she discovers and the events that occur following her discovery are what makes the story riveting.

As a viewer, this is my cup of tea.

It is not the best drama out there but it did keep me on my toes. The twist in the plot was very surprising. However, the music became so tiresome because they used the same music at almost every episode if I am not mistaken. The lead actor, Kim Jae Won's nose really bothered me -- it looks like Michael Jackson and does not look natural at all or proportioned to his face (but with a country that plastic surgery is just like going to a mall, I guess some people found it cute?!?). I know, it is lame, I almost couldn't finish it because of that. Other than that, I read that some people actually found him "cute" so I guess it is just me...

Love wins.

Wow, this was a stunner!!! The storyline kept you hanging on until the end.

The actors were all brilliant in their roles and the emotion of this drama was full on. ML and FL were so brilliant you loved to hate him and wished for her. The house manager - you just love to hate her too. Hahaha 🤪 As with most other reviews, I have to agree to the lack of chemistry between the Dr and the FL, that being said, I still think they did a great job in their respective roles.

Mummy dearest has such great character development and in the end has redeemed her character.

I would have given it 10/10 if they had married at the end instead of living together…..

Monster glue your butt to your seat!!

First of all let me,say that i feel that this show should be on a higher rank . The angst, emotions, tearjerking storyline was just one of a kind.Ideally it was very realistic becauase that kind if violence does happen. Not sure about the hire for murder. My true crime geek was excited because of this part in the story.(watch and you will see what i mean)
The acting was so on point especially the fl.Her facial expressions made me feel like i was part of her journey. Also the ml dayuum such a sociopath and full of himself.i thought he played it well. The ups and downs in all the characters and how it finally blows up in the end.It was so good.
The music omg that one, song save me will be,stuck with me for a min .
In general ,if you looking for a great show that may leave you vulnerable due to being stripped raw of all your emotions.please watch this..You will thank me
