Typical family oriented movie with a twist of LGBTQ+
Movies from the Philippines usually have a story line which is family-oriented and this is a great depiction for it with the comedic twists. As for the plot, it's quite simple and there's nothing new or unique to expect aside from the intriguing premise where a gay discovered that he has a son from the past. Mostly, the positive side of this is that it's realistic and also easy to relate to. Just a feel good movie.
The casts also performed exceptionally specially for the cute child they had. He's really smart and talented. If there's something I am disappointed, it's the character personality of Manu. I get the culture of spoiling kids in the Philippines but I just don't really get why he lets his son watch a soap opera that is for adults. Aside from that all the characters did the roles perfectly.
I haven't really noticed any particular songs or music in the movie so I really can't tell. At least it didn't ruin any particular scenes in the movie.
Well, overall if you want to watch a family-oriented movie over the weekend or if you're just finding a feel good movie to watch on Netflix, I would recommend this one. There's not much Filipino slangs in this movie so even non-native would be able to appreciate the movie.
