Out of the three installments of the Moonstone trilogy, this one is my least favorite. This is the last part of the trilogy, which meant that this would have better visual effects than the other two. But this one also has the biggest plot holes. The first three episodes were perfect. It was a gift for all the fans of "Imortal", perfect conclusion for Mateo and Lia's love story. Then it went downhill really fast from there. That dragged on plot of the moonchasers, that dragged on Jacinta mystery took over maybe half of the whole series.
The presence of JLC, Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez almost over power the main lead. It was not their fault, it was just how the story was written.
The FL's backstory was well written obviously. But the ML's backstory was a bit messy. As it turns out, he was also Magnus son. If logic must be followed, he must be conceived almost at the same time as Malia. He was so busy waging war against Mateo and Lia. When did he find the time to rape a Luna soldier? And how did that Luna soldier (ML's mom) ends up with Barang and Supremo?
Anyway as the story unfolds, it was fun to see old characters from the past. It also have good action sequences and good OST. The romance part was a bit mediocre though. Still a good watch.
