Delightful Drama
For the readers here let me share my bias - Nam Ji Hyun is my favourite actress and I have watched every drama she has starred in as a lead actress , so my review has a slight bias :)Story : The story is typical of any period drama with politics, allies, enemies being killed, kids of opposition families ending up as lovers in the adulthood. But what differentiates this drama is the story telling, the cast and an extremely fiercely independent woman lead in the Joseon period. The drama has the typical tropes - childhood friends, destiny, memory loss, love triangle, breakup and reunion , but it is still an extremely endearing watch.
Cast/Acting: The 5 leads make it an enjoyable watch. Given that Kim Seon Ho is my favourite actor, obviously I liked him more than the male lead. Nam Ji Hyun though stole the show - and I loved her entire village squad.
Overall : It struggles in places with the pacing and like most KDramas a couple of episodes less would have helped the drama.
But if you are looking for a light hearted romance in a sageuk backdrop and two very handsome supporting male leads - then this is the drama to watch :)

Amazing Actors and Amazing Chemistry
It is amazing how these two young actors can display such a different level of emotions throughout the whole drama. Nam Ji Hyun and Do Kyung Soo's chemistry is undeniable and it is off the chart You can literally feel their love and longing for each other on the screen. Their acting was so natural and it was effortless and seamless. Nam ji hyun and Do Kyung soo were the excellent choices for Wondeok/Yool and Hong Shim/Yi Seoh and want to give full credit to casting director for bringing these two young amazing talented actors together to make this wonderful and yet heartwarming and funny drama. Wished it was longer than 16 episodes but liked how it ended leaving us to our imaginations (to write beautiful stories on our own). Main actors and supporting actors chemistries were amazing and they all complimented each other. 100 days my prince is truly one of the best drama of 2018, at least for me for it kept enticing and luring you with a storyline and off the chart chemistry among actors. Each actor brought life to each character they played to perfection. Truly loved this drama and can't seem to move away from this drama. Rewatched several times and discovered new things each time. Never get bored of WonShim bickering.... too cute. ... it is beyond words ...Cet avis était-il utile?

As the title says, the couple stays 100 days married in a village as poor people and the drama takes most of its episodes in that scenario. That's why a lot of people say they don't like the script and they are afraid the plot will be rushed at the end - but if the responsible for this is a good story-teller, you don't need to worry. People say they don't like it because they are afraid and because de M.O is different - it tends to cause a strange feeling to longtime kdrama viewers but I must insist that it has been very good till now.
The actors are very capable, not only the main couple, but also the supporting cast. We don't need the main actors in scene to be entertained and I think this is rare.
In conclusion, is it worth watching it? Yes, of course! It is very cute, but it feels more real too. It is a little bit different and the way the plot resolves itself may feel slow to you who often watches kdramas, but every episode will entertain you and personally this makes me more curious towards the end ;)

The most frustrating ML I've watched so far!!!!!
I'm giving this a low rating because I HATE the ML!!!! I'm only 4 episodes in and I want some one punch that SOB right now. Why is everyone giving into all his demands and protecting him from all the consequences? I was expecting more of a fighting spirit in the FL and so far I'm completely disappointed. If some character development doesn't happen soon I'll have to quit watching and move on. I started this show because I was expecting a little hearted historical romantic comedy with cute leads. The clichés are all there and that's fine, that's expected. If the writers and director meant for this first part to be cute and funny, it falls woefully short. So far, the music isn't anything memorable. The only thing I like right now is the scenery and the support cast.
I'll edit if it gets any better.

Super Chemistry...My Fave Historical Drama
I don't know that I was 6 years late that I just recently binge watched this drama of NamJihyun and D.O. I love the plot of the story, every character leaves an impact on the story. It was a mixed of romance, comedy and drama. I really love the OST also. After watching this drama, I really want another drama for Namjihyun and Kyungsoo their chemistry is awesome.Cet avis était-il utile?
Bland
The drama was exciting for the first few episodes and in the last few episodes. Everything in between was boring.I did not like any of the characters. Both ML and FL had no personality and chemistry. The crown prince had a resting bitch face 90% of the time. And FL had one surprised/confused look with pouty lips. When he confessed his feelings for her he had the same expression when complaining about being uncomfortable.
There was no growth or character development either. The writers could've done so much with Yul's character when he lived in the village with amnesia. He hardly did anything but still complained a lot.
When I read the synopsis, I was excited about the plot. The story ended up being completely uninteresting.

100 Days of Patience
The drama was mostly a slice of life drama with minimum story. The concept is fairly simple and was done before, "Save the Last Dance for Me (2004)" comes to mind immediately. The leads had a good characterization and received an equally fulfilling performance by their cast. Which also why the leads had a good dynamic going on. However, its biggest problem is its lack in variety. Since it's a slice of life, the cast felt limited in size while jumping between the same few members of cast. They also lacked a unique variety in their archetypes to help keep the drama lively and vibrant. The same thing can be said about its lacking length of 75min x 16 episodes. There were too many slow and uninteresting sequences that dragged each episode too far. A slice of life doesn't equal boring when they're done right. If this drama were to be cut down to 6-7 episodes it would have been much better.Cet avis était-il utile?

Historical Drama with Modern Plot
This is one of my favorite dramas of all time. The drama setting is in Joseon Era, but I felt modern vibe in its plot. The problems with the crown princess felt like in a modern drama.
The casts are so perfect for their characters. As Do Kyungsoo's fan, of course I love his acting. But even though you're not a fan, you wouldn't be able to complain that his acting is bad. This kind of character is so suitable for him so much. His catchphrase of "OHO" and "Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable?" are so legendary and funny. I love his character, a talented crown prince who was smart and skillfull in martial arts, but somehow can be sweet, cute, funny and silly.
Nam Ji Hyun also did a good job. Her acting compliment her characters in the drama. The chemistry between FL and ML was great.
I usually don't like love-triangle. But, SML in this story was not annoying and I didn't hate his character. His loyalty to the crown prince outshining his love to FL. Surprisingly, the relationship between ML and SML looked better than the relationship between FL and SML.
I don't like the political conflict. And somehow I think it was cliché to historical drama. A prime minister/minister who wanted more power and used his daughter to gain more favor from the king. I don't like how the political conflict climacs was solved. I think it was rushed somehow. The reason that I didn't give 10 for re-watch value, because I didn't like the political conflict. So, everytime I re-watched this drama, I always skipped the scenes.
What surprised me the most is the crown princess' story (SFL). In this case, SFL didn't have any chance with ML. So, somehow I was hoping for a happy ending for her, even though in the beginning she was hateful.
I think this drama needs more episode. One more episode for the epilogue and the happy ending for ML and FL. I don't think that all of their problems was solved because they didn't show the story how ML brought FL to the palace and married her. In other dramas, it would be another problem because usually there would be people who opposed their relationship. I was hoping for more story about their happy ending and married life
The soundtrack was so good and really lovable. I love it.

With the sageuk background, of course there would be a lot of unnecessary power struggles between the main character and the people in the palace
but honestly I watched this for the main couple's romance. And it was worth it.
I'm also happy that the main characters aren't stupid (like a lot of rom com tropes are)
The acting could be better; they're pretty new actors afterall. But the chemistry from youthful (inexperienced) love is there and I was rooting for them so hard!
Would recommend if you're in for some fluff. The male lead really knows how to win a girl's heart.
