What a nice little gem! This short dorama is refreshingly original (this could easily be one of the most original love-stories I've ever seen depicted in a japanese dorama, if not THE most original!), wonderfully written, acted and directed! Hong Kong makes for an enchantingly exotic setting, and those beautifully vivid, ultra-saturated colors bring out all its magic! A particular praise (standing ovation, seriously) for the lovely Koike Eiko, who's not only superbly gorgeous, but also a marvelous actress! Perfect 10/10 as far as I'm concerned! :)
Koi Suru Hong Kong is a short drama with a unique cinematography. The camera work was interesting and I enjoyed the way the story was presented, by every character's point of view. The story was kind of entertaining as well. However, the romance was like an odd piece of puzzle, just there to spice up the story, but it actually didn't, as the ending was left wide open. Moreover, when it came to the performances, everyone was really good and it helped the drama and the progression of the story. So, overall, six out of ten.
