First Impression of The Wolf

I'm up to episode 16. It's your average love drama with alot of angst and misunderstandings.

Male lead-Seriously overkill on the spray tan. Though it is nice to see other shades besides the pasty white skin tone that everyone hero/heroine seems to be. As Wofie, he seems almost simple, naive, and child like. As Prince Bo, he just sometimes cold, often mean, and smirks alot. I don't really like the male lead, especially how he treated his love interest. He was so mean to her and the fake attempted rape, He's suppose to be the hero, but his morals are lacking a bit. He knows that his adopted father is up to no good, and he just goes along with it.

Second male lead-play by Xiao Zhan. Too much like his previous character Wei Wuxian. Hopefully, the character will have some development in later episodes.

Female Lead-She's suppose to be an intelligent woman who uses deductive reasoning, but somehow doesn't bother to look into her family's murder?

The Princess Bao Na-she's just annoying. I hope that her arc is finished, but I guess she's going to stick around for a bit.

Anyways, I may come back to this drama, and I'll update my review when that happens.

Fantasy/ Romance

This has been one of the most amazing drama that I have watched so far. I am more than excited to watch the rest of the episodes. Just waiting to be released in English subtitles. I believe the more episodes I watch the better I would understand the story. I like this drama because of their acting. All the characters have played so well, especially the main leads. It's an amazing drama to watch, especially during this pandemic where nothing feels interesting to watch. It’s so boring and I am glad I have found something interesting. I highly recommend watching this drama.

One of the best Chinese Drama nowaday

If you ask me what is the good Chinese drama to watch 10 years ago, I can answer you with plenty. However nowaday Chinese drama with inexperienced actors actress, I cant give you a name.
Finally, I came to The Wolf and honestly this been one of the best ones I have watched. First of all, actors/actresses are all well built, good costumes, good acting, the main male character chemistry is awesome. The way his eyes reflects all his characteristics. Main female is a strong female lead, so you wont get sick of "useless" main female like other dramas.
The storyline is all logic, connect from the beginning to the end. There is no scenes that not related to the whole storyplot.
OST music, wow, one of the best. Ost is played in just very right momments, the lyrics take you to another level of feeling. The songs are played precisely in very right scenes.
Overall, one of the best dramas that I watched.
