The general manger guy hwang in deok is adorable . Love him ..he did well ..best character in the drama for me .
There aren’t many annoying side characters in this drama but some of them were boring. There are quite a few twists in the drama it satisfies u by the end though.
Loved the lead actors & they did enough to keep u hooked .
It has its own up and downs but overall I would definitely recommend this drama .
It’s fun ..good time pass

That being said, midway through, this drama became so stressful to watch. I don't think I would have made it through if it wasn't the Viki commenters. I feel like every character's personality drastically changed and continued to change so fast that it might give a person whiplash. I am not sure what the writers were doing, things got complicated, drawn out, and very very frustrating.
There are still some parts that make zero sense, but whatever, it's a show.
If anything, watch it for the beginning because Jojo is a hoot. If you have Viki, turn on the comments while you watch, you won't regret it.

When the biological clock is ticking
8.5/10 is my rating. This 2017 Taiwanese drama has 15 episodes (~75 minutes/episode). The female lead, Lin Chun-Jiao (Tia Lee) is a driven career woman who has focused her life on earning money to support the only family she has left, her stepmom and brother. Her world is turned upside down when she discovers that failing ovaries impact future family. Her stepmom starts a quest to get her beloved daughter happily married.spoiler 🚨 I was very surprised in this one because, from reading the description I thought it would be like an episode of the bachelorette where the word goes out and potential suitors are lined up. The way it plays out is the men are actually already a part of her life and the interactions develop along more natural lines with some pushing and urging from those around her. To me that was much more believable and allowed for fuller character development. To win a large account JoJo goes to work for a cold, distant, General Manager of a hotel chain, Yi Sheng (Jacob Hwang). The story between the two is a little like beauty and the beast where JoJo's extreme likeability slowly starts to thaw Yi Sheng's cold exterior. Things are not as simple as they seem though when JoJo's college love Tang Zai-qin returns following an 8 year separation that grew from a simple misunderstanding. Opening yourself to love changes a person and other men in her circle start to see her in a different light. There is a point in the movie where this "Eat, Pray, Love element comes in - you know the go on a quest to find yourself type thing - and I can't say that I loved that trajectory but the overall story was good enough that was a minor irritation for me. Some people really loved "Eat, Pray, Love" so others might actually enjoy that part. If you are not one of them, just know that does not overshadow the story. I got a little worried about the ending - I am not a fan of sad endings or where you follow characters the entire time only to have things drift at the end. That doesn't happen - it ends well.

I liked Jojo's relationship with her family. I loved that that her stepmom treated her like she was her own child which was a stark contrast to what ML received from his adopted grandmother. Loved Jojo's bff! At times I found jojo annoying..like she did not know what she wanted...
I did not like jojo's co-workers (arch enemy). I thought her ex-bf was dull and boring. Like there was absolutely no chemistry between the 2.
ost..hmm I don't remember it so..that means it left zero impression me.
I would not watch this drama again but if you are interested..still watch it.....skip through the boring parts

The show was wonderful until the writers decided to make my blood boil
Whew chile. So this show was really enjoyable- the female lead is played by one of my fav actors and i loved how she portrayed Jojo. The story is your typical boss-worker love-hate relationship, which progresses. The second male lead was an old flame, yada yada yadda. It didn't drag much and It was funny to see the main leads interact. Everything was progressing smoothly until the last few episodes when hell broke loose. Now usually within the last few episodes the, main leads get together or the main and second male lead battle for her hand. Now that DID happen, but the writers just went batshit crazy. Almost everyone's characters changed a bit- Jojo became an indecisive mf when she used to be very outspoken and did what she needed to get what she wanted; the second male lead became emotionally manipulative and stalkerish; and the main male lead became nicer (which isn't terrible). With such little episodes left, the writers could've given a good ending with a few episodes of fluff, but instead they literally just caused a million things to happen at once. I literally got so stressed that I skipped to the middle of the last episode because I was tired of the foolery 🤦♀️All in all, its a good watch if you can stomach some stress at the end! I live for love-hate troped so it fulfilled my needs in that sense but it was like I was going insane in the end ....
