The Anthem of the Heart (2017)

[WARNING: the rating and review I give have the possibility to be subjective due to my preference for the genres, scenes or casts]

"The most egregious sin in this world is to hurt others with your words."

Deep. I think most of people have a difficulty to say what they really want to say. And if they already say what they really want to say, that's not an insurance if the other people catch the meaning as they really meant. Conversation is tricky, so does the feeling, so we must be careful with our words in order to deliver our feeling.

Other than suspense, I love musical theme movie/drama, so this movie really fill my need, especially in the final scene. I love the all the songs they choose. There's a funny side and the sad side in this movie, but in general they're have profound meaning you must found (^_^)

P.S. watch it until the movie really stop! :D

If you have watched the anime with the same title, then there won't be many surprises here. The story fallows the same story of the anime movie, taking off some parts only here and there, but the main story and meaning are the same. However, they did an excellent job when it comes to bringing the magic elements to life, without making a fantasy movie. The fantasy elements were handled for what they were: an insight to the girl's mind. She had created that myth because of the guilt she felt about seperating her parents and she had manifested it into a musical later on, a play that explained everything to everyone. For the acting part, all the actors were good and brought out the exact emotions that were needed for the story.

Can compare to the Anime for sure.

Overall
I think that this movie is just as great as the anime. It's one of the few where I think I personally prefer the Live-Action over the anime but they are both great.

Story:
The Story is overall the same as the one in the anime, but personally, I believe that most of the changes, which were mostly pretty small, were to get ride of nitpicks and inconsistencies that the story might have had in the anime. There were some small changes that I didn't like too but that's okay, it can't all be perfect.

Acting.
Personally, I had not seen any of the main cast in anything else except for Ishii Anna in YLIA, which I liked her in. After seeing them all, I have to say that they were pretty good in the movie and hope to see them in other things because I liked them all.
