I don’t like So Ji Sub but I liked the premise and found it interesting that 2 of the biggest Korean male stars were in a drama together…

Story- The first half of the drama deals with happenings in the character’s younger adult life. This includes the first meeting between Ho Jung & Kyo in (in high school) and also Ho Jun’s many love conquests( about 4). How is that possible in only a span of 8 episodes? Well there’s quite a few time jumps. I liked it cause kept the drama from being boring in the beginning. Then the second half of the drama focuses more on the quarrels/relationship (friendship to romantic) of Ho Jung/ Kyo In and also the struggles Ho Jae ( female lea’s brother) and Su Ji (female lead’s BFF) have trying to convince their parents they want to get married. This was actually my favorite part of the plot because it was so much fun watching them go from Noona/Doonsang friendship to awkward/odd romantic pairing. I didn’t really care for the romance between Ho Jung & Kyo-in cause the writers kind of made it repetitive and kind of frustratingly uninteresting? The ending was amazing for Ho-Jae/Su-ji couple while it was kind of lackluster for Ho-Jung/Kyo-in couple.

Acting/Cast-You know I’ve come across Chae Rim twice and never really noticed how good of an actor she is. Oddly enough I really took notice of her in this even though this is one of her older dramas. I liked her acting style and even though her character was kind of annoying in her wishy-washiness, she made her character come off as cute/likable.

So Ji Sub is an actor I just can’t seem to like no matter how many dramas I’ve seen of his. It does seem like he has gotten a little better with his newer dramas but yeah his subdued acting/lack of facial movements is really noticeable in this one. Luckily he had an okay chemistry with Chae Rim and also his character was a nice one/likable.

My favorite actors in this was actually Kwon Sang Woo (stole the show from SJS) and Lee Eui Jung (played his romantic partner). Their characters were total opposites (one a nerd, one a model) and yet they made their relationship completely believable. They played my favorite characters and kept me watching.

Music- It wasn’t really memorable but it wasn’t distracting which I appreciated.

Rewatch- I’d only watch this again to watch Ho-Jae/Su Ji couple.

Overall- Not boring and just a very realistic older drama.

I watched this drama because of the cast and the idea sounded good. I really like the actress Chae Rim and watched it because of her but by the end of the drama I became a fan of Kwon Sang Woo. The drama is good but overall it really isn't that special. I was disappointed by the story because the idea really sounds good but it just wasn't done right to me. The writers could have done better.

It's really SLOW. Like extremely slow and sometimes I found myself skipping scenes to the point that it was painful. I probably only saw 60% of the drama because of me skipping. I really wished that the story would just get to the point sometimes.

This is not saying that the drama is bad. It's not but I like fast paced dramas and this definitely wasn't one. So if your like me too then this might not be the drama for you.

The cast is good. It isn't much to say about them but I will say that I became a huge fan of Kwon Sang Woo. I loved his character and I was more invested in his relationship with Soo Ji than the main couple. Soo Ji and Yoon Ho Jae (Kwon Sang Woo) had an awesome relationship and half of me wished that they were the main couple. I felt that there story was way more interesting to see and they were the best thing about this drama.

Also it's takes the main couple a long time to actually get together, so that also contributes to why I say it's slow.

As for the rewatch value it's low for me. I do not see myself watching this drama again. I would only go back to see the moments between Soo Ji and Yoon Ho Jae.

Overall, I think if you're a fan of Chae Rim, So Ji Sub, or Kwon Sang Woo then you'll enjoy the drama. I won't say that'll you love it but I definitely think you'll enjoy it.
