Funny, interesting and stunning character-portrayal!

Very beautiful story! The romance was definitely a slow-burner but strangely it didn't bother me at all. And although I get bored easily with something like law themed dramas, it was totally interesting! I don't know if it was all really realistic since I'm not a major in neither law nor psychology, but they explained it so well that is was at least easy to understand! :)

I really loved the character portrayal here! Evie and her identity disorder seemed realistic since she didn't just simply had DID - her attitude towards it was really relatable. At the beginning she was like "Why me? Why do I need to have this illness?" - upset and frustrated. That was so damn relatable. She was not the typical naive girl, but a very kind but strong woman. Maybe a little sassy but in a mature way. On the inside she was really vulnerable of course and the explanation for her multiple identities was soo good. :)

The romance was mature too. Not in a sexual way, but I mean they weren't desperate. ML wasn't obsessed like "I have to make her fall for me". Not at all. He respected her and her life and even her DID, and was simply there for her. He was goofy and totally funny to watch, but at the same time totally kind and warm. Benjamin Yuen was perfect for this role. :3

The actors did a very good job! Also FL for portraying 3 personalities - they were really all so different! Good job! Even with quick personality changes you could easily tell them apart by the way of talking and body language.

The closest drama to this one would be "Kill me Heal me" but with roles reversed and in "Threesome" the characters were -despite all- more mature.

I loved how well they explained the psychological therapies and also the law-things xD I could follow easily and so it was even interesting and understandable for me. I had much fun watching this! It was hilarious, emotional and addicting!

We got a very beautiful and satisfying ending. The FL came a long way and had a very good character developement. :) Much love from me!! <3

This is my review for the TVB Drama "Threesome".
This drama uses a relaxing way of telling the story of a lawyer with Dissociative Personality Disorder.
Evie Fong has two other people living inside her, one called 'Pina Colada" who is crazy, and one called "Sau Mak Mak" which is always sad and crying.
Lee Dong Kai is graduate of law struggling to find a mentor, he learns about Evie's secret, Evie doesn't have a choice but has to be Kai's mentor.
Theo Kei asks Evie to marry him, but Evie doesn't want Theo to know about her disorder.
This is how the relationship between Evie and Kai starts.....
Other dramas talking about Dissociative Personality Disorder uses a very harsh way of telling the stories like (the other personalities killing other people etc...) but this drama uses a very light hearted way of telling the whole story, so it makes this drama a very easy and refreshing watch. The story is a very big part of a drama, this aspect of Threesome does not disappoint at all, this drama talks about a lot of things like Psychology, Legal, Family and Love, it mixes in very well and it makes the whole drama very smooth.
Even if the cast of Threesome is not big heavy stars, it stars Mandy Wong, Ben Yuen and Jason Chan as the three main leads, along with Snow Suen, Gigi Wong and Arnold Kwok.
Mandy Wong's acting does not disappoint as "Evie" in this drama she practically became Evie, she also does not disappoint as "Sau Mak Mak" representing the cute side of her, well her acting as 'Pina Colada" is fine but a bit fake, but in a comedy you won't expect something very realistic or else it isn't funny.
Ben Yuen's acting has improved a lot, he is not as wooden as before, he is also became "Kai" in this drama, always helping Evie, in every scene he was in character, and it really deserves a praise.
Jason Chan as a scaredy cat.....Hmmmmmmm....At least his acting has improved, especially in one particular scene :)
Snow Suen as a very funny psychologist. I guess she is fine, but some times i find her saying her lines without any emotion, but overall she is fine.
Gigi Wong as Evie's very mean spirited mother, she was awesome!!! Every time i saw her on screen i wanted to hit her on the face, that represents a very good portrayal of a very mean character!
I think this is Arnold Kwok first drama to be filmed, he was a bit wooden and only used one emotion through the whole drama, but he is still new and has a lot of time to improve!
Two supporting characters i have to mention is Lee Dong Ling played by Kirby Lam and Bo Win played by Lam King Ching, they always snatch the audiences attention in every scene and both of them are very funny and their chemistry is nuts!!!!
There is only one song sung by Miriam Yeung called One of a kind, it is a very good written song, the lyrics really represents how Evie is feeling inside, and Miriam Yeung also sang it with emotion.
Overall, I very good drama that is a awesome watch, and even deserves a rewatch because some parts are better if you watch it in detail.

I love "Threesome"! This is a really nice TVB drama and I enjoyed it from the first minute to the last. It is a light-hearted take on multiple personality disorder (and others such as anxiety, suicidal thoughts etc.) and how such a mental disorder affected the lead's life. Unlike other similar shows like "Kill Me, Heal Me" (Which I feel had a darker tone based on the snippets I saw), this drama is more comedy-like, and I was laughing throughout the show. The drama also had sweet romantic elements between Kai and Evie - showing how they became closer in the process of Kai helping Evie to hide her secret. I thoroughly enjoyed this drama, and found new things that I had not noticed before when rewatching. Anyone looking for a refreshing psychological drama would find this wonderful.

Production/Story:
The story was well-paced, engaging and funny. It used a comedic way to explore the adverse effects of how having a psychological condition can affect one's life. I really liked how Kai and Evie's relationship progressed too. There were so many funny/touching scenes, like how Pina Colada married Dominic, and Evie had to deal with the situation, or when Evie's mother finally reconciled with her (I cried...). In short, wonderfully written!

Acting:
This show was such an acting breakthrough for Mandy and Ben. I feel that their acting abilities were really put to the test and they showed me how great their acting was. Not to mention how much effort they put in. For example, in an interview of Mandy, she mentioned that she only slept 1 hour ever day while filming the show as she had to act 3 "characters". Ben also really entertained me when he had to act out Evie's different personalities in place of Evie to ask Dr Bean how Evie should be treated, I've never seen him act like that! Other than that, the supporting cast was pretty okay too, they acted out their roles well, the only shortfall being Arnold who I felt was quite stiff in his acting, but I'm sure he can improve.

Music:
I love the opening theme song -《无双》by Miriam Yeung. Mandy and Kinlas even have a special choreography for this dance which I went to learn, although I don't have someone to do it with me, oh well. I also went to download its piano score, that's how nice the song is, full of meaning and really suited for the drama.

Rewatch Value:
Would definitely rewatch this again, I've already done so once and found some details that I missed out. I feel that this drama is that kind of show where you'll find something new or have new reflections when you rewatch, so this is definitely high on my rewatch list.

LOVELY CHARACTERS , FUNNY AND ADDICTIVE DRAMA!

I am SO IMPRESSED with Mandy Wong's acting! She really shines, I love all her 3 personalities.
Just like most people, I was confused by the title "Threesome" but it definitely makes sense since Evie has DID, 3 characters.

1. EVIE aka the BOSS
- She is dependable, hardworking, smart and cold on the outside but the truth is she's very vulnerable and has loads of self-esteem issue which triggers her other personalities
- She's so cool in court, she's the best in the law field and has a reputation to uphold
- Unfortunately, she lost all her childhood memories before age 10 (which is when she developed DID)

2. PINA COLADA aka. THE TROUBLEMAKER
- The name xD, Pina is an aggressive, extroverted character that does what she wants when she wants
-She's reckless, crazy, where Evie takes the high role and keeps quiet about her feelings Pina is strong and will SLAP you straight up!
-She enjoys living life spontaneously and is super fun to watch

3. MAK MAK aka The PRECIOUS PURE SHY ONE
- MANDY IS SO CUTE AS MAK MAK, she loves food, she's a crybaby and is scared of everything xD

BENJAMIN YUEN as Kai was impressive too! He makes the show enjoyable, he's caring and kind, but hilarious at the same time! I love the back and forth bickering between him and Evie!

I also really LOVE THE OPENING MUSIC, there's one English OST that plays during flashbacks to Evie's childhood which is nice too

However, I can't give this a 10 since the drama really starts to pick up at ep 8-9! The first eps were a bit slow. Definitely one of the best DID representations I've seen in Asian Dramas. It's pretty rare to see mental health in HK dramas, and I'm impressed!
