Both are medical dramas about young talented resident surgeons who search for the meaning behind their profession and learn to cope with its hardships. Code Blue is more realistic and doesn't have the Godhand Teru's supernatural (and a bit cheesy) notes, but still the overal feeling is similar.

Both dramas are about a man with a "godhand", although Orthros no Inu is less medical and more suspenseful where it explores more of the other side of such power - that such a hand, as much as it can give life, can also take life. Both are interesting form their respective perspectives.

In a way, the protagonist from Godhand Teru is kind of similar to the protagonist from Mustssu: Mieru Me. They both can detect symptoms from the littlest signs. Godhand Teru has more to do with operations/medical and Mustsu: Mieru Me has to do with crime/detective.

Both dramas have a doctor who is a rookie doctor (clumsy in Godhand Teru, and doesn't have much interest in being a doctor in Ghost Doctor), but is able to perform miraculous surgeries through possession (in ghost doctor, where a highly skilled doctor's spirit possess the new doctor) and through inheritance (in Godhand Teru, where it is said that the ML inherits the talent from his father).
