Ignore the amount of points I gave to the rewatch value... no matter how good a drama is, I don't think I'll be able to watch it all over again :P
That said, I can continue by expressing how good this drama is. What most stood out to me:
a) The hilarious scenes, which were sometimes paired up with funny melodies. I really did enjoy that.
b) The amazing acting, especially from Cha Seung Won, who plays one of my favorite and funniest characters of all the dramas I've watched, Dokko Jin.
c) The music was also quite good, I loved the entire OST.
I had to give the story an 8, though. In the final episodes I sort of lost interest. But then again, those were the episodes that got more serious. And I guess that an immature 16-year-old like me would obviously prefer the hilarity of the previous episodes. Don't worry, unlike other dramas, the last few episodes aren't filled with useless crying.
Who I'd recommend this to? Anyone who is in for a cute yet more serious romance, hilarious scenes, and wants a break from all the tears. Also, if you're in the mood for some funny engrish, The Greatest Love is for you!

I have to be honest, I didn't know who these leads were when I read the synopsis. I saw the drama's cover picture and was ho-humming whether to watch it.

But the title pretty much says it all, and I have also hopelessly fallen in love with this drama.

I fell in love with the exploding chemistry between Dok Ko-Jin and Ae-Jung. I loved Ae-Jung's face in the camera as she delivered her role as a washed-out actress. Her pain, frustrations, her hopes and dreams. Dok Ko-Jin was exceptional! His comedic reactions are to die for and so out of his character.

I had started this drama last year and stopped after the first few minutes because it hadn't drawn me in. I am so glad that someone on here told me that I needed to pick it up again! This drama was not perfect by any means, but it was still a seriously fun ride.

Dokko Jin was oft-times ridiculous, irritating, and childish. Despite all of that, he was also sexy, sweet, romantic and adorable. His character was nothing new in terms of kdrama heroes, but he was still such a great leading man, even if you wanted to punch him in the face occasionally for so being so completely oblivious at times. His naivete was adorable, and his crazy laugh was somehow endearing.

I wasn't really that impressed with Gu Ae Jung. Her character was kind of bland, and a little unbelievable because she was the "forever good" kind of character, who never even has a mean thought about someone, or so it would seem. I really felt like they could have made her character a little more multidimensional and not have lost out on how completely Dokko fell in love with her.

The supporting characters were, for the most part, a complete pleasure to watch. Ding Dong was adorable, Se Ri was a good evil foil, without being to irredeemable, and the Pil Ju was so beyond sexy, there should be a new word made up to describe. I was totally rooting for Dokko and Ae Jung, but I can't help it if I also want to jump on the Pil-line!!

The storyline wasn't anything new or revolutionary, and that's just the way I like it, I think! It's a good rom-com that will make you hurt for all of the characters at some point in time, and root for everyone to have a happy ending! And Dokko and Pil Ju will have you smiling like a fool at least once an episode.

If you are looking for a new romantic comedy, that is really cute at times and a lot of fun to watch, then this is what you should watch!! The love story in this one is definitely not something that romance fan should miss :)

Dokko jin is a top class a--hole... er... i meant actor. He lives in a bubble where he is the center of the world. He's sooo full of himself that he thinks everyone is a fan.

Nobody expects him to do anything for anyone. Because they know and he knows that he only loves himself. So when he finds himself in love with a no star artist, he goes to the hospital and asks his doctor what's wrong with him. he says something like this:

"my heart has been beating only for myself for several years. when it starts beating for some thing or someone other than myself then something is wrong!"

seriously. This drama is well-written in a way that the story is believable. It gives people somewhat an insight on what's it like to be in the entertainment industry; why reputation and publicity is very important.

The humor is maintained all throughout the series. There were times I had to pause an episode because I had to laugh my head off.

And the actors were able to portray their characters really well until the end.

What an awesome drama. Now this is what you call romantic comedy. Most of the romantic comedies out there are really corny but this one isn't at all. I love Cha Seung Won's acting. He can act in anything whether it be action, comedy, horror, or drama; he is just amazing. I have watched a lot of his dramas and this is one of the best ones. This drama will have you laughing and laughing a lot. Just by the aegyos itself. The actors and actresses were very well picked for the drama. It's a very interesting drama that I think many celebrities can relate too. I'm not a celebrity but I guess this is how they would feel when they are in relationships and they wonder whether or not to go public. I guess watching this drama made me realize why many of them don't go public with their dating life. I hated waiting for new episodes each week but it was definitely worth it because it is such a great drama. I'm sure that if you watch it you'll will enjoy it like I did. "You should be honored to have met such a drama!" as Dok Go Jin says lol.....I really love this show. It's was so much fun watching it.

The first thing I appreciated about this drama was the older cast. It wasn't a typical teenage romance story. But what made me absolutely fall in love with it, is the protagonist. The character of Dokko Jin is completely different from Cha Seung Won's image and personality and does not now, nor will it ever fit him; which is exactly what makes him so adorable! Because there is such a stark contract between the actor and character, the Character becomes absolutely hilarious!

Omo!!! This drama is amazing. It has surpassed every other drama I have seen. I was just looking for something light and fluffy to get me over Masters Sun but what I found was amazing. I love the showso much I have tried to start watching it a long time ago and I didn't like it. however I was like let me give it one more shot I did and I'm so happy I did. by the end of episode 1 I was hooked. this definitely is the funniest drama I've seen. The lead actor is hilarious the actress is so awesome and the rest of the cast was funny too. I would definitely recommend this to anybody wants to laugh and also to anybody who wants to see a purely great romantic story.this doesn't follow the typical K drama plot. its unique and funny and everybody will love it. Their love was so pure and genuine.I just loved it. I feel that it definitely lived up to the title of greatest love because I see such a great and amazing love and it is definitely my favorite kdrama ever. sometimes I rewatch the episode of a kdrama but this one makes me want to re watch every single episode that's how good it is.

The greatest love had some of the most romantic, heart-fluttering, hug-your-pillow-really-tight-and-hold-your-breath moments I’ve seen in Kdramas (although they do get cheesier later on, by the time they do you’ve already grown attached to the characters). At first when I saw Cha Seung Won’s character, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the show. This is first time I’ve seen him so I don’t know if that’s how he portrayed the character or how he actually is in real life but it reminded me of Johnny Depp in that he was pretty but I wasn’t sure if he was drunk because of the way he moved or spoke. I found it somewhat refreshing later on since it’s not typical of a pretty boy and it seems to fit well with his character, Dok Ko Jin. I continued to watch out of curiosity and for Gong Hyo Jin. I've always seen her name in the list of top Korean romantic comedy actresses and thought that I should give one of her dramas a try since she seems to have so many highly rated ones (Pasta, The Master's Sun, It's Okay That's Love, and of course this one, The Greatest Love). I don't know why anymore, but I was initially hesitant to watch her since I thought she looked too old and it would be weird to watch a romcom with her. BOY WAS I WRONG. Her acting is one of the most genuine ones I've seen. It’s not cheesy or overly dramatic and she can be cute without using some of the annoying aegyo expressions I've seen other actresses do. She's definitely made it on my list of favorite actresses. Although the plot wasn’t original, those hug-your-pillow-really-tight-and-hold-your-breath moments I mentioned earlier along with some funny (not really laugh-out-loud funny like in My Princess, but cute funny) moments seemed to come one after another like a bombardment of entertainment for around the first 9 episodes. Every time I clicked a new episode I would feel sad knowing that there would be that many less to watch. Unfortunately, scenes began to become unoriginal and predictable, there were no twists, and there wasn’t much of a climax. The other love interest, who I thought had great potential, seemed to give up early on and appeared weak (I was excited in the beginning since I thought he was going to have a transformation). The last few episodes seemed to be mushed potatoes. (See what I did there? :D Maybe after you watch the show then you’ll like my comment more. ^______^)
Anyways, the show wasn’t bad. In fact, the first 9 episodes I’d rate as a 10 and would rewatch. They were exactly how I’d want my ideal kdrama to be- funny, romantic, cute, and suspenseful, with good acting and a great cast (even Lee Seung Gi made an appearance). The downfall, I think, is that even though these was able to make up for the lack of a good plot in the beginning, the ending showed that the lack of one or any plot twists could not be overcome leading to the disappointment of what could’ve been indeed the greatest love. Since the majority of the show was immensely entertaining I don't think that it would be fair to lower the rating beyond what I have.
**Side notes: Yoo In Na is way too cute for an antagonist. Choi Hwa Jung reminded me of Bree Van de Kamp from desperate Housewives and was a cool character who seemed practical and instead of many powerful characters in Korean dramas who simply oppose things for no reason. Jung Joon Ha’s acting was really good and serious at times which made me somewhat sad since he might not really be the clumsy dumbdumb that I like watching on variety shows. : (

The silliest, and also the funniest Hong Sisters drama I've seen so far, Greatest Love is a fun, well paced ride full of endearing characters.

In Short: Laugh-out-loud hysterical comedy. I liked the premise, and I loved the characters in this. Gong Hyo Jin is as likable as ever, Cha Seung Won is brilliant, and Yoon Kye Sang’s dorky smile got me every time.

Pros: Well paced, brilliantly casted and truly charming. Ding Dong!

Cons: The metaphor overdose was a bit tiring by the end of it. Also, the time skip past the mortal danger was a bit of a let down.

When I thought about starting this drama, the complete positivity of reviews drew me into watching it, and somehow it ended being not what I expected.

For some reason, I saw the summary being a story of a woman lot older than Gong Hyo Jin, even on the poster which is used as the picture for this (I thought she would be 45). So the feeling of youthfulness, if you are wondering about it, is still right there. Moreover so, it's a complete drama with all needed elements; there was enough romance, cheekiness, dramatic interludes and comic relief found very often- not only in supporting characters, but leads as well.

Acting deserves a nine; the only reason I am not giving it a ten is because I find the main female lead a bit dull, because I've seen her in a couple of dramas before and it's always the same role, more or less. Cha Seung Won was very cheeky and self absorbed here, but in menacing, cute way, so they worked out. For me, out of the supporting cast, Choi Hwa Jung and Yang Han Yeol had most impact as their roles, because they gave certain weights to the scenes they played in.

Music was okay, its timing in certain scenes was not off, the main song got a bit repetitive for me after hearing it over and over and over again, but it's not bothersome to some unbearable level. Cute songs.

This drama has a solid plot, good character build(up), plenty of romance & comedy to go by, therefore, I would eventually rewatch it.

There was a lot to love about this story. The cast was picked out well, the chemistry between the leads sparked, the romantic scenes were not by any means awkward, the comedy wasn't misplaced or overdone...however, when they were building up the dramatic boom, it fell short. It flew by so fast I wasn't sure I was watching the same episode. Or same show. The ending was there and it's what considerate number of dramas of this genre have lacked, but, the heaviness that the viewer was supposed to gain before it was simply not there. It had everything, but it lacked a bit of dramatic impact.

Recommended.

Another great Hong Sisters drama! The story is so hilarious, packed with so many metaphors and revealing many secrets in the Korean entertainment industry.

THe characters are hilarious. Maybe a tad exaggerated at times, but Cha Seung-won pulls it off really well. Gong Hyo Jin puts in a good performance as a popstar discarded once she reaches her sell-by date.
