I'll do something new in my experience: keep my review short. I'm not sure this drama can be described in words, and the reasons to like it are very subjective. For me, watching this drama was a little like reading a novel by Kurt Vonnegut.

Q10 is surreal, poetic, highly amusing, thought-provoking and surprising . It's brilliantly acted too, which adds to its delicious oddity. It doesn't have even one unpleasant character: they are all very weird and very human, at times histerically hilarious and at others wonderfully deep.

I'm not sure whom I would recommend this drama to; however, I'm certain it won't do for those looking for a rom-com, for an uncomplicated plot, for simple entertainment, for shine or for glamour. The one and only requisite to approach it, is to do so with an open mind. If you believe that people have each their own sound, that calling for help loud enough will make somebody come to the rescue, that death is just a way of thinking and that you achieve a goal because you want and not because you can, then "kiuto" is for you.

"I am here right here, right now!"

From now on, when I hear, that most of the best things are discovered accidentally (I should raise a glass for you, Rita~), but on the best right time, I am going to smile knowingly and relive the feelings I had during the 3 days I watched Q10.

This little drama has neither the mind blowing novelty, eye catching effects, heart throbbing romance, head spinning mysteries, tear jerking dramas... none... it even does not have the best script... but my mind is blown because of the beautiful lines every character delivered, my eyes never left the screen because every word the characters said engraved deep into my heart, my heart throbbed every second of the drama because all the things they said are so known, but so welcome to my ears, my head was spinning from the realization that I know all the words delivered, but I need to hear them so much more often as they are so warm, so true, so sweet and so-so right, my tears were running so calmly and sweetly, I did not even realize I was crying until I sobbed at the last moment of the last episode~

In the beginning Q10's character was so confusing, that I did not know how I could rate her for myself, at first it seems she has no facial expressions (she's a robot, for crying out loud), she delivers her lines in a monotone, tilts her head, does not blink, how... how? I was watching the 2nd episode when I realized, gosh, she is gorgeous! I can see her smiling, even when she is not, I can see her thinking, even when she can't! I was caught in this so quickly...

A little later I discovered why I had the oh-so-familiar feeling about this drama, well, you see, I have a all time favourite drama, and it is Nobuta wo Produce, if you had watched it as much as I have, you would definitely recognize the same 'signature' of the director, as both dramas are directed by the same one... the beautiful shots of the sky, the rook of the school, the friendship of the characters, absence of an antagonist, characters revealing both positive and negative traits, not being perfect, but themselves...oh and so many more things...

I will repeat myself, and say, that the most beautiful thing in this drama are the delivered lines - oh-so-familiar and known, and ought to be said more often.

As for me, am contemplating on rewatching it right now (it has been 10 minutes since I finished it), I am sure this will become one of my favourite additions to my collection and one of the most rewatched ones on my list.

Absolutely recommended~! Paffun~

Of course, I landed on Q10 because of Sato Takeru. I mean, didn't most of us did? And at first I was pretty startled at the title and thought that it'll be the typical "human-robot-love-story".
But its not that "same" cyborg story we've all once heard or seen. It is a story of a boy who didn't know what feeling love held until he met Kyuto (the girl robot). Learning to love through a robot who is solely made for you :) Well, that caught me.
The acting cast is good and I believe that Heita's character couldn't be played by anyone else other than Take-kun alone. Atsuko-chan's acting and delivering the dialogues in a "straight-frank-mechanical" tone was good (won't judge hard as it would've took her so much practice to speak like that!). And yeah, the side characters did good as well.
Music is really nice. Instruments such as using xylophone to create sound matching to that of a robot is a pretty good idea. My favorite is "Heartbreak" played completely on the guitar and "Love" played partly on the piano.
The drama made me feel the right amount of sadness without stretching further and keeping the fact that "Heita loved Kyuto as much as he loved the world". Although I do admit that it took me time to understand the ending but nonetheless if you talk about re-watching this, I have been re-watching its last episode since the day I finished watching it.
I like short melodramas. And this one was a cute one. :) Give it a try .

I really got a warm and fuzzy feeling during the time I watched this drama, more-so when I watched the great ending it had.
I was expecting a funny, very relaxed and not so profound story, like I had experienced in Zettai Kareshi, a drama I really loved and thoroughly enjoyed, but instead I found a great story that offered an interesting view into how a person with no desire for the future can discover the lost feelings and emotions that person lacked for so long. The story makes you think about what makes a person love and how can one find a purpose in living, by letting by gones be by gones and recreating oneself in order to achieve happiness.
The cast did a great, great job, even the supporting cast was awesome, but the leads really were very good.
I recommend this drama to anyone that is looking for a great story that not only entertains you, but that also makes you think and analyze yourself along the way. :)

Q10's story is so cute and funny. Episode 1 will already make you say "Oh Kyuto is so cute makes me wanna hug her" something like that. The roles of each characters are also the best part for me because the writer used different or uncommon personalities, like the poor guy, the girl in wig, and the weird Fujino!

The acting is great. The main casts did their best at their roles. You can feel them. Some of the minor casts are not known like Kaku Kento but they did very good.

A must-watch esp. if you enjoy drama which involves school and class.(I never get bored of this genre.)

Altogether, this is a coming-of-age story about what it means to be human, and perhaps what it means to be a good human.

It's a poignant, bizarre slice-of-life/sci-fi high school romance about a boy who discovers a life-like female robot. Their relationship blossoms as he takes her to school and teaches her how to be human. The combination of humor, bizarre situations, coming-of-age issues and romance will appeal to fans of Nobuta wo Produce.

The acting is strong and the story is really well strung together. It manages to be surreal, cute and coherent all at once. Every character is likeable in some weird, peaceful way. Watching this series is both engaging and relaxing, almost like yoga or cloud watching.

The actors got me hooked. First of all, I love Sato, I first saw him on Rurouni Kenshin, so I already knew he would have been great in this.
Maeda really made me want to keep watching this movie. She looked so much like a robot <3
I loved how they made Sato do things a guy should always do to a girl, even if she is a robot. It made the show that much more enjoyable and not cringey.
The subtitles really got me fugged up, but surprisingly I still was able to love this show so much!
The cast fit in so well, the chemistry was amazing and especially between maeda and takeru. Really wish they would do another movie together, it would be so amazing.

I'm having a hard time putting my feelings into words. I guess I don't have to, because the best part about this show were the feelings that I felt while watching it. I didn't understand why I felt what I did - it was such a simple, clean, pure show, yet my heart ached. There was no antagonist, nothing besides the inevitable passing of time and the characters own very realistic shortcomings (I don't mean the actors. The acting was wonderful! But the characters were very realistic and relatable.) Kyuto was a robot so obviously she didn't express emotions like normal humans, yet you could still understand the feelings that she wasn't supposed to even have. This drama was short, but incredibly memorable in all its simplistic, minimalistic beauty. The dialogue was the focal point of this show and I just... I can't explain it. You'll have to watch in order to understand what I mean. The music was one of the best points! This show was less about plot and more about invoking feelings in the watcher, and the music really enhanced this point. I especially loved the ending theme (I downloaded it lol). I urge you to watch this show. You won't regret it!

I landed on Q10 because of the main reason that I looked for a drama with a robot character in it, like Zettai Kareshi and did this not long after I finished Zettai Kareshi. I admit, we are not new to this kind of sci-fi-romance genre but it is still starting since not a lot of dramas are made to fit this genre. Though the idea of "falling for a robot" is not new, the approach is quite unique and the story has its own soul and charm, if you know what I mean. I liked the ending too, I didn't expect it coming out like that.

Moving onto the acting, I can say that Acchan really did a great job portraying Kyuto! I'm so happy with how she acted—compared to how robots are being portrayed now (very human-like, perfect), Kyuto was portrayed as a robot. The appearance is human-like, but still, it's different! She speaks in high-pitched monotone, she walks like a machine, she's like a real machine! It's difficult to leave your human-like actions if you are to act like a robot, so I give Acchan two thumbs up!

The music is quite memorable but not addicting. As for rewatching it, I would be nice to do so after forgetting about what happened to minor characters.

(tapi robot kan nggk punya jiwa gan) wkwk tapi elu paham nanti maksud gua.
Musiknya ok aja.

Terus apa worth it buat ditonton ulang ? hmmm.. menurut gua, YEP. ceritanya itu ngena + twistnya nggk terlalu berat (maybe) yahh boleh lah worth it.

Q10 is a robot girl-student boy drama, with nice side stories and interesting adventures of the robot girl. The messages that cross through are deep, though the drama tries to keep a light mood throughout the drama. Also, the mystery of the girl's origins is entertaining to follow, though, I confess, in the end I didn't get it. In addition, the love story was a bit odd, as the girl couldn't actually express feelings and the boy just happened to realise that he was in love with her. Another thing that bothered me was the girl's voice that was kind of annoying. I would have overlooked it, if it was her own voice, but when she talked as a girl, her voice was normal. Other than that, her performance was really good, pretending to be a robot that learns the way societies work and how to behave. The boy's performance was okay as well. So, 5 out of 10.

gentle quirky humor with a serious side

on this drama I revise my original view:if you expect a proper sci-fi story do not look for real sci-fi hereーany sci-fi element here disappears pretty quickly and it really becomes a slow but fun and homely drama with nice characters that also touches on some thought-provoking and serious life issues as it goes on。 if you do not mind a slow kind of youth drama and Japanese quirky provincial humor it is worth sticking with this drama it leaves you with a warm feeling in the end 〜music not especially to my taste and re-watch value low but 8.5/10
