Giving heart to someone else... PLUS!! Jung Kyung Ho (Falling for Innocence) is Sooyoung's (Spring Day of My Life) boyfriend in real life and they did a drama with a similar plot. How funny is that? Lol.

It deals with the same subject matter, namely King Sejong and the creation of Hangul.

Both are historical dramas set in the palace harem that include romance and political intrigue. Also both dramas are about a young girl entering the palace and becoming the favorite of the emperor, having to deal with the jealousy and intrigue of the other women as a consequence.

In Gokusen, Yankumi grand-daughter of Yakuza Family and her greatest dream is become a teacher. In GTO, Onizuka is a reformed biker gang leader who has his sights set on an honorable new ambition: to become the world's greatest teacher...

Both shows follows same formula, similiar genre, comedy, same kind of humor.

They have a lot of similar elements :) The story lines are not very similar but I got a similar vibe from both :) The girl who sees scents was a fantasy drama and You're all surrounded was more action, but they will similar because both dramas have the main character who decided to become a police/detective because someone from their family was murdered. Both have the cutest main leads who work together to solve the murder mystery :)

Both dramas are about PDs and their daily lives both at work and their relationships outside. Both are comedies and you can see some romance between the co-workers.

Secret Garden is about a stuck up rich guy meeting a poor girl who is not very girly and inexplicably falling for her. Coffee Prince brings the same feeling of funny and romance with an easier going hot hot hot male lead and an easier going girl who looks like a guy. In Secret Garden they switch bodies but in Coffee prince there is a gender mix but it is ENCHANTING!!!

As major themes: both are funny, heartwarming stories and feature the main characters growing up and becoming more confident adults.

Other similarities include: featuring high school reunions although at different scales; There is definitely an element of who is the daddy/husband mystery in both although for very different reasons; Both have really cute/inventive title cards for each episode and are 16 episodes, so on the shorter side for dramas

Totally not the same, but both are melodramas with bullies, murder, and mysterious pasts in their plots. Both have Kim So Hyun in them, and she's always fun to watch. Truly talented young lady. Missing you is a lot darker and bolder but both are super interesting and hard to put down.
