Korea continues to Reign in the BL scene for 2022

I must say it took me a while to watch this because there was not much buzz and I saw mixed reviews online but off the strength of Blueming, Semantic Error and Cherry Blossoms After Winter, I decided to give this show a chance.. and boy did it not disappoint. everything had the feel of a korean Bl and it's safe to say Korea has delivered the best BL's for 2022 thus far. I loved that besides the love story there was actually a plot which is rare in Bl's these days. though the ''stalker '' in the end was no big shock it was pretty obvious that it was him. I must say I will recommend this to anyone.. it was not as great as the above mentioned 3 but it's a very good addition to the Korean BL scene.

All the Ingredients that made SEASON 1 GREAT

only a handful of BL's have had successful second seasons and My Beautiful Man seems on track to follow suit. episode one was STELLAR.. a lot of callbacks to season 1 and it has all the magic of season 1 as well.. fantastic job by the team. This show remains the best Japanese BL I've ever seen and I think so many things about this season is reminding me of why I fell in love with these two character.. both of them are flawed people but they make each other better in various ways. I look forward to Hira hopefully realizing he is worthy of Kiyoi and I look forward to seeing Kiyoi opening up even more and not bottling everything up inside which he does a lot.

Too MANY CHARACTERS

there are far too many characters in this show.. and by episode 2 I was officially confused... I'm not saying all asians look alike but they needed to have more distinctive looking people.. the 3 friends I could barely tell them apart... this show is telling like 8 different couple stories.... I thought My Engineer with the 4 stories was tough but they did it so well and the characters was so distinctive.... these characters are not memorable and the acting is pretty blind... watched a lot of BL shows and was looking for something new but sadly I had to stop watching this after episode 3

GMMTV - STOP ADAPTING MASTERPIECES

I really need them to stop adapting stuff that has already been mastered... Cherry Magic was a 10 and Kieta Hatsukoi was a 10... the style of the manga will always suit a Japanese adaption more than Thai because it's literally Japanese source material so trying to adapt these shows into a Thai setting and culture doesn't work and it becomes very cringe to watch.

just got done with the first episode.. I'll give it a 7/10... I agree with a comment below that the directing needs a lot of work and I've been saying for some time that GMMTV production team needs an overhaul and bring in fresh talent... some of the music during the scenes were very odd to me...
