Listen... if you liked the way the love scenes in Not Me were shot with all its sensuality, beauty.. Malila is worth checking out, because i feel like its equally entrancing. Both of the main characters are lgbtq too and their romance goes deep. Theres subtle commentary on social issues as well.
Both shows present and comment on social issues and one of the themes is revenge/karma/change. Both thai dramas are dark, gritty and feature lots of violence.
Both are very atmospheric, mesmerizing, slow thai movies that largely take place in a jungle/forest. The story focuses on a gay male lead and his relationship to another guy.
Both are 2023 korean minidramas that depict the love story between two working guys. The male leads get in touch through work and grow closer after butting heads at the beginning. Apart from that theres not much drama, they end happily and the supporting cast is very nice and funny.
And the posters look alittle similar

Sort of coming of age movies focusing on an ambigious relationship between two guys. One likes the other for certain but it ultimately stays one sided.
Both seem to take place in summer too, id also call both poetic.
Both seem to take place in summer too, id also call both poetic.
Both movies include a teacher-student relationship, infidelity and a main characters whose actions are understandable but frustrating... the vibes differ alot, however. Misbehaviour is a thriller and Yong Soon a slice of life drama.
Dark, psychological thrillers, school setting, taboos, twists, manipulation, societal issues, unclear motives, violence... like misbehavior could have been a girl from nowhere episode in a different universe if youd flip the genders.
Both are korean psychological thrillers about manipulation, power imbalance, obsession and obsessive love, unclear motivations and twisted characters that dont hesitate going to extremes. Both include taboo love triangles and age gaps and are pretty dark.
Both movies feature children as the main characters. They deal with growing up. Both films include fantastical elements and the children have vivid imaginations.
Both are movies about young girls dealing with growing up. The films are heartfelt, calm and include a nice message.
Both are sincere movies about young girl main characters growing up and facing new issues and expectations.
Both are lgbtq+ movies that feel sincere. One character does sex work, one character is closeted, one characters meets an unfortunate fate... the relationship feels alittle push and pull in both (in egoist in the beginning at least).
