I watched this in 2016 because I am late to the Lee Min Ho party. I decided to watch this because I needed something to fill in the space as I waited for new episodes of Legend of the Blue Sea, where I finally watched LMH for the very first time and realized why he has been so popular. (I still refuse to watch BOF though!)

This was obviously pretty dated by the time I watched it so some of the story just didn't move me that much since it had a lot of cliches. Jin Ho's noble idiocy just was pretty over the top, so that was a bit annoying. But the leads had incredible chemistry together and I looked forward to the scenes they had where they were bonding together. For me personally (my "personal taste" if you will...heh), it was a little too angsty for a show deemed a romantic comedy. The misunderstanding of Jin Ho being gay was played for a few laughs at first, but then started to cause real issues that affected others. Thankfully Jin Ho handled the situation with as much class and care as he could.
The back half of the story is where it started to get a little draggy and the evil 2nd female lead just had an uncanny knack for popping up just in time to either hear things that she shouldn't or to cause unnecessary trouble for the leads. That cliche wore a bit thin. Also Ahn Suk Hwan as Chang Ryul's dad --HOO BOY! If anything was too over the top in this show more than anything, it was his "villain laugh". Seriously, you have to hear it to believe it! It's like the most cartoon evil villain laugh you've ever heard, but one of the most annoying things in the whole show. (Please, Lord, make it stop!)

All in all, for a drama this dated, it was not a total waste of time. I enjoyed most of it, but I wouldn't rewatch it.

If you are looking for something with a big plot or that moves fast, you need to look elsewhere because you won't find it here. This is one of those quiet and reflective movies.
I'm finding it hard to put my thoughts into words for this movie. The cinematography is beautiful and there is a melancholy feel that seeps in to you. The dialogue is a mixture of English, Chinese, and Korean. The acting was moving. So much was said with so little words. The chemistry between Hyun Bin and Tang Wei was very good.

While the story didn't go where I expected, I still was riveted to the screen. And this movie may be boring to some people, but for some reason it drew me in. All I can really say is that I feel like I'm still going to be thinking on this one for several days.

This movie is pretty aged since I didn't watch it until 2016. I think it was more suited to a younger audience with the story. And the acting wasn't top notch. TOP and Seungri were definitely new to the acting thing when they made this. They weren't horrible, but there was a lot of room for improvement. The storyline was simple, but somewhat entertaining.

I'd probably only recommend this to watch if you were a die-hard Big Bang fan. It was okay for a lazy afternoon, but won't be re-watching.

This was a quickie web-drama. Watched the entire thing on a rainy Saturday. It was a cute rom-com. Not remarkable in any way, but enjoyable and cute romance and cute main leads. It was obviously lower-budget as they couldn't afford anything fancy with the sets. For the office of a CEO - we never even found out what his company was about and he ended up sharing an office later. And the female lead ended up living in her veterinarian office. But since it was a short series anyway, I could overlook some budget saving measures. It was a good time pass, but nothing worth watching again.

ETA - forgot to say that the main lead character seemed a little controlling at times, but since this was so short it didn't get on my nerves as bad as it would have if it'd been a regular length drama.

I watched this drama coming off of watching Oh My Venus, which was where I first watched So Ji Sub and decided that he is probably my new Kdrama crush. I wanted to see more! Enter Master's Sun, which I had heard was amazing, but hadn't previously appealed to me.

While it sounds like it may be a horror type, it is actually very funny. They did the ghost scenes very well! Each episode involves a ghost that Tae Gong Sil has to help finish their business so they can cross over. The ghosts start out as very scary to Tae Gong Sil, but as she takes the time to find out what they need to be at peace, they take on their normal human look. I will say that one of the episodes was very hard to watch and I wept quite a bit over it. There were lots of laughs and lots of tears. There's also a bit of a mystery with Joo Joong Won's past and the ghost of a girl that haunts him.

While I watched this because I wanted to see more of So Ji Sub, I also discovered Gong Hyo Jin and am now her fan also. These 2 actors had amazing chemistry together, and one of the biggest drawbacks for me on this drama is that I would have loved to see more of their romance than we got. (The other was a plot/character addition toward the end that I thought was unnecessary and interrupted the flow, but not enough to ruin the drama.) Seo In Guk was just a bonus for me as Kang Woo because he's another favorite actor of mine. The secondary romance that he is involved in makes a cute story here also.

I enjoyed the music very much, and Touch Love is a song I listened to over and over.

This story was solid and very re-watchable. In fact, as I watched this the first time around, I binged on it and could not quit hitting the "next episode" button when I should have been sleeping! It really was THAT good! My dh has re-watched it several times as well, and now I hooked my mom in with this show. This is easily one of my favorite dramas to date.

This was such a good drama. I loved the main actors. Eun Ji as Shi Won and Seo In Guk as Yoon Jae were amazing. This was the first drama I've ever watched either of these actors in, but they have made me fans. This was the first in the Reply series, but arguably the best one just because the story was fresh the first time they did the "Who's the husband" bit. The side characters and storylines are good and keep the plot going with the husband mystery. I thought that part dragged on too long, and I would have liked to have gotten to see more love story. But the angsty-ness of it all kept the tension going. I would 100% watch this drama again. Shi Won was immature and quite the hooligan, but she was lovable all the same. The parents had great chemistry together also, and that may be part of the reason they used them as the parents in the other 2 Reply dramas. They may have been a little loud and obnoxious at times, but I felt that they acted out a long-married couple that's still in love perfectly.

I watched this drama mainly to see Joo Sang Wook after coming off watching Cunning Single Lady. This is an older drama and his acting isn't nearly as good as CSL, although it could be partly due to the character he is portraying. He almost looked like a different actor and was more wooden in his delivery. This was the first drama I've seen Park Shin Hye in and she was very cute. This is a family drama, so there are a LOT of episodes. While it does get laggy in places due to length, I did watch every episode and enjoyed all the side characters stories as well as the main storyline. The actors did a good job for the most part and I think that is what made this drama watchable.
The big secret is what drives the plot along, but there are some secondary plots and romance that help round it all out. I probably would not watch again, but mainly for the length and age of the drama.

Reply 1988 was a little different from the first 2 in the series. While the other two were more focused on a romance, 1988 was focused more on the families that lived on this one street. This drama had LONG episodes, but there was so much story to tell. This is a slice of life type of drama, so there aren't any big exciting twists. But the way that these families loved one another and interacted with one another made me feel nostalgic and sad when it was over.

There WAS another debate over who the husband was (and I will only say that I was not on the winning side of this one) but both male leads were equally charming. Even though the main romance centered around Duk Sun, her sister Bo Ra also gets a very sweet romance of her own. I loved each of the main group and the parents the secondary characters were all well used.

Although it may take me awhile to get back around to it due to length, I would love to watch this again. I also loved the music in this. There is one song that is really lovely - Don't Worry Dear is the English title.

This was a fun movie to watch. The escapades of serial thieves as they make one last heist.

The story was action packed and moved along at a great pace with characters that were interesting. They all played off each other very well. It certainly keeps you on your toes as you watch. And it didn't end like I thought it would at all....there are definitely some plot twists and turns and unexpected outcomes. There's also a bit of humor as well, so it's not just action and crime.

This was solidly entertaining and I would watch it again.

I have loved all the other series by these writers - all the Reply series and Prison Playbook. I really just expected.....more...from this story. It felt incomplete at the end -- I'm sure it's because they've set up a second season, but that is not why I watch Korean drama. I want a complete story.

The acting from the main cast was top notch - Jo Jung Suk is always a treat to watch as is Jung Kyung Ho. They did an excellent job, as did the others - no complaints at all for the acting. It was fantastic.

The music - from the band was a nice touch, but was a really strange addition to the story. It just seemed like some random thing thrown in even though it was fun.

There really didn't seem to be a real plot line, but just a bunch of stories about a group of friends who happen to work in a hospital. I did love the friendship between the characters and that was probably the show's strong suit and what I think these writers do very well. There were lots of loose ends that I wanted to see tied up that were left undone, hopefully that will be resolved next season. I'll end up having to read a bunch of recaps (because I don't have time to watch the whole thing over again) to refresh myself on what happened.

Anyway, I didn't hate the show - I enjoyed it but am bummed that it didn't feel completed. And I'll have to admit that towards the end, the excitement started to fade for it - like it was fine to wait several days to watch the newest episode.
(Sorry for all those that gave this a 10/10 - I wanted to love this and maybe I'll love it more when it's finished.)

I am quite late to watching this drama, but it seems to have reached some sort of cult status, so I felt like I needed to tick it off my list. This show may be the most cliche and full of tropes drama I have watched to date - yet still enjoyed it for most parts. We have the rich and arrogant chaebol, poor humble girl, wicked evil mom, noble idiocy, fated/star-crossed love, tragic accident, amnesia...and more that I didn't list.

The storyline was not all that great. And they could have used the body-swapping with far more effect than they did, even though it created lots of humorous moments. That part was just a little messy. The main leads had a great chemistry together, which is probably what made this show work at all. Joo Won wasn't exactly romantic for more than half the drama. But his neurotic character was still somewhat charming even when he was being such a butthead to Ra Im. He was like a man-child that couldn't help himself from putting his foot in his mouth and being a jerk, but he was lucky he was cute. His character growth comes quite late in the series. Ra Im's character was disappointing sometimes because she's supposed to be this awesome stunt-woman with mad fighting skills, yet she's mostly meek and apologetic to everyone.
I will say that Hyun Bin did an amazing acting job - especially during the body swap scenes and the elevator scene. So, while the story was all over the map, the characters are what kept me watching until the end because the middle part was somewhat draggy and repetitive. The last few episodes were probably my favorite, even with the plot weirdness.

I doubt I'd ever re-watch this, but I'm glad that I watched it simply for the sake of understanding references to it. (and a little bit because Hyun Bin is pretty cute. LOL) Story-wise it is just mediocre, with some cute moments thrown in.

I watched All About My Romance at the urging of a friend. I have to say that it was a slow starter for me because the political stuff was just not my thing. However, the leads themselves won me over immediately and were my reason to continue on. Although it took a bit to get me involved storywise, I feel like it was a worthwhile and enjoyable watch.

Shin Ha Kyun as Kim Soo Young was a treat to watch, and this was my first time seeing him act. He has a winning smile and nice eyes - but he looked so much cuter and age appropriate for Lee Min Jung as Noh Min Young once he got his new look just over halfway through the drama. It took years off his looks and upped his attractiveness quite a bit! :) Lee Min Jung was great as always. I believe that little sneer she does must be a real thing and not totally an act because she used it quite a bit in Cunning Single Lady as well. She is one of my few favorite Korean actresses. The two together created some good chemistry, and they had lots of cute couple moments.

My only critiques (besides the politics - which really aren't bad if you are into that sort of story) would have been that I didn't like some of the "cartoon" music that was played. (But the main theme song was very pretty and I enjoyed it a lot. Wish they had had more music like that.) I think that was supposed to add something comedic, but it sort of seemed cheesy to me. The second is that I would have liked a better ending for the show. The ending was good, but I think it could have been better. And lastly, the second female lead was kind of pushy and annoying after a while. I thought she was cute at first, but her doggedness began to wear. Thankfully, she never descended into a true villain, though.

Overall, this is a very cute and fluffy comedic romance. I don't feel it gets too sappy or sad, and the leads were a joy to watch. Although, I probably will not rewatch this, I did enjoy it and am not sorry I stuck with it and got to see the romance bloom with Soo Young and Min Young. :)

This is a short web drama that had a very interesting premise (even if it was just a great long ad for the LINE app). It starts out sort of slow and quiet, and maybe a little confusing for some, at first because there are a lot of flashbacks. But something drew me in from the first episode. It may have been the sadness in the leads faces as they are trying to process their pasts and how to move forward. By episode 6 (which isn't as long as it seems, considering the episodes are only around 11-13 minutes long), they story really starts to pick up and I became more invested. Episode 9 had some weird but funny moments and ended very beautifully. The show had some stunning cinematography - very artistic, but not "artsy". There were also some funny visual moments as well. The ending was a bit unsatisfying, but totally understandable and realistically done. (I just wanted more because I'm greedy that way!)

Cast - The main leads were believable and real. I thought both Ueno Juri and T.O.P. were strikingly attractive actors. If I hadn't needed to watch the subtitles I would have been totally sucked into staring at their faces. I liked Yoo In Na's side character, but she is cute in pretty much everything I've seen her in thus far. I also like the actor that played Jae Soo, but he was also eye candy. The side actors were serviceable, but could have been played by anyone really, because the two main leads just dominated the screen for me.

The only stand-out music was the song that T.O.P. sang himself. It was really pretty and just right.

While this wasn't exciting ground-breaking drama, it was a cute romantic story and I think I would totally watch it again. It's short and sweet.
If you are looking for a nice rainy day romance to watch, this is a great choice.

This was a good drama. There was a great storyline beyond the romance. The actress that played Na Bong Sun did a great job, as you could really see the difference in her playing Bong Sun and Soon Ae (the ghost girl). It's like she really embodied how Kim Seul Gi played Soon Ae. The chemistry was good between the actors, and the mystery of Soon Ae's death was well done and interesting to watch. The side characters were well used also. I would watch again.

I gave this drama a rating of basically a C. I liked the leads, but the story was just draggy. I ended up ff'ing through a LOT of this. The characters were all interesting and the leads were enjoyable, but the main drama part of this just could have been shortened a LOT. It may have just been typical kdrama tropes, but I just couldn't take some of it. I would not re-watch this.
