Love the improvement

okay now this season is definitely much much better than the 1st season. both the main role in this one are showing that they're much comfortable with each other which makes me feel that they're getting better with the acting. i see the grow on the character and the plot. also i see something that makes me suprised.

in the previous season i know that the main character are cherish and being cherished but i cant really defying it. but in this one i feel both the main character are exponentially grow a lot and they find ways to open up about themself and solve their problem

but also, if you like a masochist paired with tsundere. this one is for you

I keep saying "Huh???"

I'm not the type of person who gets hooked on the first episode however mostly after 2/3 episode my attention usually fixed. Not this series tho. even after 3 episodes i'm still don't get excited. The actor performance was A-Okay but the plot of the story are not really eye catching and honestly almost creepy. At first i was trying to understand that maybe the main character is suffering but he always give a weird vibe and that's been proven on the not-so-ethical scene with his photo. and i thought that the main role just having some kind of stockholm syndrome or something but i just don't get it. after watching all the episodes i don't see any interesting grow both from the plot or the character. i even look up when i watch the 3rd episode that this is the best BL in 2023 and honestly i dont really think so.

I was told that if someone think that this series is not good, they should wathed it again. and I did.

Okay first and foremost i need to repent my previous opinion because i need to understand that every series is different. and watching this series after a very 'green flag' series probably corrupt my expectation lol.

okay now let's Re- Review the series again.
Yagi yusei acting are definitely good! he potrait someone who is very insecure and broken but he need to have a strong shell outside. he play the character kiyoi so good he gets all the sad, envy, sorrow, loneliness, love very well.
keep it in mind, if you don't think the same opinion as me, he supposed to be a tsundere here. so yeah he is suppose to be harsh on hira while also wanting to love him. he just wanted to be treated for the way he is as human. as hira always looks up to him as "deity"

i just need to dig more about this very low self esteem behaviour of Hira. still makes me very frustated to figure out what he wants.

I came for Yuta and leave with a new of eyes open for Japanese cinematic movies & Japanese boybands.

I admit, i only watch this because of Yuta. I don't know the plot, i don't know the rest of the prequel, you can say i know nothing. But holy guacamoly all those not knowing what will happen makes me truly and very surprised.

I write this as if i haven't watched the rest of the franchise. Okay so I was SHOCKED by how good the Actors doing their role. the emotion, projectoriy of the story an DEFINITELY the ACTIONS are magnificent!

However, i do not understand at first why does this schools are trashy and no teacher in the school and they're are still coming to school just to fight. that's the only thing i don't immediately like (i understand it after i watched the previous movies to this franchise).

all the actor work very hard for this and i don't know that there are SO MANY boy grup in this movies so it's make me curious for them. and turns out they make great songs too!

i enjoyed this movie very much!

I've never been so happy that "miscommunication" is the foundation of the drama's conflict!

The plot of this drama is truly exceptional. It breaks away from the typical predictable high school love story and offers a fresh perspective while still maintaining the sweet and innocent essence of young love. The pacing is just right, neither dragged out nor rushed, and the story unfolds with perfect consistency. Unlike other stories where unspoken feelings lead to prolonged tension, this drama avoids that trope, making for a much more enjoyable to watch.

Although Japanese BL miscommunication is a common issue, Aoki and Ida's relationship stands out because they manage to avoid this pitfall. While they do have occasional disagreements, these conflicts stem from their struggle to comprehend their newfound emotions rather than from any lack of communication. This unique approach adds depth to their characters and makes their story all the more compelling.

I appreciate the inclusion of the secondary storylines involving Aida and Hashimoto as supporting characters. Their presence adds a sense of wholesomeness to the overall story. Furthermore, I admire the writer's decision not to portray Hashimoto as the typical third-wheel character, which is a refreshing departure from the overused trope often seen in similar stories. This choice contributes to the unique and engaging nature of the storytelling.

The casting for the characters in the show is truly exceptional. Michieda Shunsuke's portrayal of Aoki is nothing short of brilliant. He effortlessly embodies the goofy, funny, clumsy, and kind aspects of the character, while also delivering the sincere, strong, mindful, and considerate traits with great skill. His acting is consistently top-notch, and I couldn't find a single scene where his performance felt anything less than genuine. Additionally, Maguro Ren deserves praise for his portrayal of the inexperienced first-time lover, as he brings the character to life with remarkable authenticity, drawing the audience into the story.

I commend the production team for their ability to portray various scenes in different locations, which keeps viewers engaged and eager for the next episodes. Additionally, the background music is a perfect complement to the story. The carefully curated OST enhances the drama and is well-suited to the overall narrative. This attention to detail adds depth and richness to the viewing experience.

Overall, this drama is a must-watch for anyone looking for a fresh take on young love and a well-executed plot.

Culinary, comedic, comforting BL series

Ishida Tomoya, an editor at a fashion magazine, found himself under significant pressure as he reconsidered his career and current position. On the day he intended to resign, he received an assignment to visit Mitsuya Ayumu, a renowned 52-year-old culinary expert with training and experience from France, to request a manuscript. However, when Ishida finally arrived at Mitsuya Sensei's house, he collapsed from the sweltering summer heat.

I have to admit, when I first saw the promotional poster and trailer for this BL series, I was a bit skeptical due to the age gap, which is something I had never encountered before. However, the first episode made a significant impact on me. I won’t turn down the opportunity to experience a good storyline just because of my initial assumptions.

The storyline is refreshingly original, presenting an eye-opening perspective on the significant age gap between the main characters. This dynamic challenges typical narratives and allows for a unique exploration of relationships. It's essential to note, however, that both characters are adults navigating their own lives, and this is ultimately a work of fiction. This context gives the story room to explore themes that might be considered unconventional in real life.

As I watched the first episode, I found myself increasingly intrigued, eager to discover where the plot will lead. It serves as a pilot for the rest of the series, so it makes sense that the creators would include some subtle romantic interactions to engage viewers right from the start. I believe it’s vital for the audience to get a glimpse of the chemistry and romance that will develop as the story unfolds. These initial moments not only pique curiosity but also lay the groundwork for a deeper emotional journey as the characters grow and evolve. Overall, I’m excited to see how this storyline progresses and what surprises it may bring.

In terms of acting, I have only seen Sakai Taisei, who plays Ishida Tomoya, in a few episodes of the Sentai series. However, this is my first time witnessing him portray a character who is bubbly, clumsy, a bit timid, yet still very high-spirited. His performance is delightful, and he brings a unique charm to the role. Throughout various scenes, he managed to elicit genuine giggles from me with his comedic timing and expressive delivery. It’s impressive to see how he embodies this character's quirks and nuances, making him relatable and endearing. I look forward to seeing how his performance evolves as the story progresses.

As for Yamazaki Masayoshi, who portrays Mitsuya Ayumu, also known as Mitsuya-sensei, I hadn’t seen any of his work before this series. However, by the end of the first episode, I was immediately captivated by his performance. He embodies the role of a wise, older gentleman who has his life together and exudes a sense of comfort in his own skin. Yamazaki skillfully brings this character to life, portraying him as compassionate, gentle, and caring. You can really feel his passion and dedication to his interests, and it's clear that he embodies a love for life itself.

His acting feels so natural and effortless, drawing the viewer in completely. I was particularly immersed in his cooking scenes, where his expertise shone brightly. I was genuinely impressed with his knife skills, which only added to the authenticity of his character. Yamazaki’s ability to convey both depth and warmth makes his performance truly remarkable, and I am excited to see how his character continues to develop throughout the series.

A big applause goes out to the production team for their outstanding ability to capture such beautiful food and cooking scenes. The use of slight yellow hues infuses the visuals with a warm, summery vibe that enhances the overall atmosphere. Moreover, the meticulous placement of subjects within each frame ensures that every expression and nuance is brilliantly conveyed.

The background music in the series is truly impressive. At times, it enhances the culinary aspect so effectively that I feel as though I'm immersed in a French-inspired setting. The soundtrack beautifully complements the overall vibe of the series, adding depth and richness to each scene. It not only elevates the viewing experience but also reinforces the themes of cooking and passion for food, making every moment even more enjoyable. The careful selection of music truly captures the essence of the series and enhances its charm.

I will continue to watch and support this series

A Stoic Lawyer and A flirty Con-Artist

This Netflix series, despite its remarkably brief overall duration, manages to engage viewers fully, ensuring that not a second is wasted on unnecessary filler or distractions. So far, I have only watched two episodes, and I must say that it has proven to be extremely intriguing and captivating. I especially appreciate how each and every scene flows effortlessly into the next, creating a seamless narrative experience that feels cohesive and well-crafted, all the while ensuring that no important details are overlooked or neglected. This meticulous attention to storytelling truly enhances the viewing experience and invites deeper immersion into the plot and characters.
I have only had the opportunity to become familiar with Hama Shogo through his portrayal of a supporting character in the captivating series 'Zettai BL ni naru sekai,' where he delivered a performance that added depth to the storyline. On the other hand, my experience with Hyodo Katsumi extends beyond just one series, as I have seen him in the wonderful and memorable baseball-themed series titled 'Gekokujo Kyuji,' where his acting was truly magnificent and showcased his remarkable talent, making a lasting impression that resonated with the audience.
So far this series is promising. i cant wait to finish this.

Living together with my childhood bestfriend

In the first episode, I am capturing the sweet, gentle, and heartwarming emotions of getting to know each other. Tanaka and Natsukawa, once very close childhood friends, are now living together due to their parents' arrangement for attending the same university. They are finding their way to be comfortable in each other's company after growing apart in middle school. The first episode shows how they care about each other despite growing apart.
Sato Ryuga, who plays Tanaka, has impressed me with his acting so far. There is no awkwardness or stiffness in his performance. I appreciate how he portrays his character's kindness and caring through the expression in his eyes. He shows a lot of confidence in his first BL role, especially considering it is his first time portraying a romantic role.
Regarding Sakai Sho, who portrays Natsukawa, this is not his first rodeo in the BL world. Although his initial role in the BL series "Takara-kun to Amagi-kun" was minor as Tanaka's friend, I believe he gained valuable experience from it. He adeptly embodies a cute, kind, shy, and slightly low self-esteem character. I can clearly perceive the innocence in his character's eyes, showing his genuine desire to be of assistance to his friend.
The set stage in the first episode is promising as it shows a lot of movement to different sets in some scenes. However, as always, the first episode is the pilot of the series so the budget for the first episode is much higher. I just hope that as more episodes come out, the variety of the sets doesn't get reduced.
I'm a simp of a good opening or ending song as I discover my favorite artists through them. Unfortunately, this show only has one song for both the opening and ending. However, despite that, the song is quite catchy and I haven't heard of this group before, so I need to check out more of their music.
overall this drama is promising and i have a high hope for this drama.
