While the storyline of the drama was promising, it lacked significant improvisation. By the 10th to 12th episodes, many parts of the plot became predictable, leaving much to the viewer's imagination. Additionally, pivotal scenes, such as the confrontation between the prince and the general, were merely hinted at, forcing viewers to speculate about the details. Despite portraying the crown prince as helpless and deeply in love with his wife, his actions contradicted his supposed affection, raising questions about his true intentions. Furthermore, inconsistencies arose regarding the prince's pursuit of his wife after she escaped and changed her appearance. Ultimately, while the storyline held potential, the lack of exposition on key elements left much to be desired.

I don't understand why the drama was made. What was the purpose of creating such a storyline? It revolves around three boys, with the beginning showing one fleeing from a place where he grew up due to rumors about his master's sexual preferences. The master, another boy, becomes obsessed with him and refuses to let him go. Seeking refuge, the boy disguises himself as a woman and begins living with the third boy as his wife. However, as time passes, secrets unravel. The ending was unsatisfactory; it should have been as impactful as "The Untamed" drama's conclusion.

Different Reaction

If I analyze this situation logically, in real life, it would be unforgivable for someone in the main lead's position to fall in love with his sister-in-law. While there may not be anything inherently wrong with developing feelings, he should exercise self-control and avoid any inappropriate actions. However, when he takes advantage of a vulnerable moment by asking her to sleep with him, promising to forget everything the next day and start anew, it becomes difficult to sympathize with such a character. On the other hand, if I disregard logic and immerse myself in the story, this character garners significant sympathy throughout, appearing almost flawless in every aspect.

Ending is unclear

The leads were my favorite, which is why I decided to watch the drama. However, since I watched it in 2024, I found it a bit dull. Nonetheless, the story was intriguing. It revolved around a girl who wholeheartedly trusted a boy, and he reciprocated that trust. She considered him her everything, but he also prioritized his friends and interests, causing a rift in their relationship and leading to their breakup. However, the storyline became unclear afterward. It depicted a scene where after two years since their break up he called her to meet , but their meeting scene was brief, with no dialogue exchanged. Instead, it shifted to past scenes, leaving the ending ambiguous. Consequently, I felt like I wasted my time.

Concept unclear

She ventured to New Joseon to safeguard him and unravel the mystery surrounding her husband's death. Upon fulfilling her purpose, she returned to Old Joseon, but her maid didn't go back ? Why , this is unclear matter. However, upon her return, she discovered she was unmarried and embarked on a mission to save her husband, ultimately succeeding. Yet, tragedy struck as he met his demise shortly after, leaving her efforts in vain. Disheartened, she returned to New Joseon and at last she came back to her love. However, the rationale behind her journey to the future and back to her present solely to uncover her husband's death secret seems questionable. Surely, she could have investigated the matter in her own time with the aid of the mystical lady. While I appreciated the storyline and commendable performances from the cast, the underlying concept of the story left much to be desired.

The drama began on a promising note, depicting the inception of their journey with great detail. However, as the plot unfolded, the emergence of the disease became the central focus, leading to relentless battles with infected individuals until the final episodes where the cure was discovered, concluding the story. While I was eager to witness the chemistry between the leads, their interactions were disappointingly sparse. Nevertheless, both the lead actors and actress delivered exceptional performances. Despite their efforts, I failed to find any joy throughout the entirety of the drama, ultimately deeming it dull and unengaging.

A big cliche

"I don't know what kind of review to give for this drama because I didn't feel anything special while watching it. It's about a doctor whose girlfriend was about to die, so he built a glass house to fulfill her dream. When his girlfriend died, he would go to that glass house whenever he missed her, and then he realized that there was some fault in it and he called the person who built that house, who was a girl. Then they both spent a lot of time together and fell in love with each other. After that, the story follows the cliche of jealousy, then the doctor not going to abroad for further studies because of his girlfriend so everyone blamed her and their further distance .

However, around the 3rd or 4th episodes, it began to lose its charm, particularly as I struggled to reconcile the protagonist's swift release from jail and seamless return to his former practices. While he garnered respect, one would expect a more cautious approach after such an ordeal. Additionally, his battle with a debilitating illness added depth, though the eventual healing allowed both lead characters to continue their work with unwavering dignity. The subtle romance between them served as a welcomed balance amidst the drama's complexities.
