Invisible Love is a nice romantic web series with a comedic flair. The leading couple, Li Zheng He / Li Xuan Bin (played by Sun Yue) and Lin Zhi Yi (played by Zhang Chu Xuan) has a very funny and sensual chemistry that keeps the drama interesting to watch. There are some mysteries regarding Lin Zhi Yi’s family affairs and her mother’s demise that come to light by the end of the drama and there is also Li Zheng He’s incomprehensible attitude toward Lin Zhi Yi but, at the end of it all, love prevails. Even though the drama is quite entertaining, the intimate scenes, although full of sensuality, were failed attempts by accidental “comical” events. Most of the supporting cast and the leading couple did a great job bringing their characters to life. Enjoy it!

Lost in the Midnight (2024) is a revenge drama with a dose of romance for the leading couple that, even though they had many nice intimate and sensual moments, their true heartfelt feelings for each other are not revealed until the very end. Some of the supporting cast members did a good job in acting but others lacked acting skills and looked more like fake lunatics. The drama is more about the main couple Lou Xiao (played by Chen Si) and Si Yue / Jian Huan (played by Yu Yin), their fated encounter and intimate involvement, their connection to a sadistic and powerful family that is out to destroy them, and their desire for revenge upon a mutual enemy. The lead couple is smart and capable but the male lead, Lou Xiao, is too aggressive and violent toward Jian Huan (Si Yue) even when he was trying to protect her. Si Yue was so focus on revenge that she would do anything like lying, seducing, conspiring, and even risking her life for the sake of revenge which drove Lou Xiao mad out of mistrust, pain, and frustration dealing with Jian Huan (Si Yue) and her deceitful demeanor in addition t his most earnest desire to hold onto her. The drama moved terribly fast and the leading couple’s feelings are not in tune to each other until the end. Still, even though the drama is not perfect, it is entertaining.

Lovely, Still (2022) is a nice miniseries that is shown on YouTube. The leading couple is lovely and they has great romantic chemistry that would have been better shown in a full series format. As a miniseries, it is too fast paced and the scenes are jumpy. Also, the subtitles are really bad! For anyone that understands Chinese, go ahead and watch it, it will make a lot more sense. Xiao Mu Chen As Lu Zi Heng | Xiao Mu Chen and Shi Xue Jing as Chen Bao Shan did a great job bringing their characters to life and they have a lovely relationship in the drama. So, this rating is lower because the subtitles are awful and the editing is abrupt.

Be Loved by You Obediently (2024) is a lighthearted short romance drama between Wei Yin Xian played by Zuo Yi and Fu Xuan Yi played by Wang Yan Xin. The leading couple has really good interactions and they are supportive of each other. The female lead is timid and insecure being by the male lead’s side; although she has a very good character development, she didn’t realized that she liked and had fallen in love with the male lead way until the end so her reactions to his loving advances were dry and weird, taking away from a great romantic chemistry. Overall, the drama is okay but the romance lacks zest.

This is a nice and fast pacing miniseries. Although the drama is tagged as romance, it must also be a comedy since there are the typical interruptions when they are about to kiss, funny sound effects, and also quite a few comical moments. There are not many intimate scenes but the lead couple’s interactions are cute and they developed a heartwarming slow-burning romance that comes about from the profound care , and later the love, that grew between them. The leading lady is lovely, smart, and kind. The male lead is poised and confident, but at the same time, he is caring and affable and he will do anything to keep her and everything to protect her. Enjoy it!

My Lady General (2023) Is a very good romantic comedy set in a fictional historical time. This is a fun drama to watch with a leading couple that did a great job bringing their characters to life. The heroine female lead forces marriage upon a sickly guy in the Gu family but the antihero main lead takes his place hoping to heal and make the heroine fall in love with him. With a couple of exceptions, the supporting cast also did well in the performance of their characters but this drama really centers in the leading couple and it was a pleasure to watch as their love story evolves and the two becomes each other strong hold. Overall, this drama is very entertaining, enjoy it!

This is a great romantic comedy with a fantasy element (shape shifting), bizarre medical skills that, once the viewer disengages its brain, it becomes part of the far-fetched, over acted, and ridiculously funny comedic elements of a story that is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at moments. The cast did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life and fusing the mixture of different genres (drama, slap-stick comedy, romance, action, suspense, and fantasy) to give the audience a very entertaining drama with a heart of gold. The drama is not perfect and it doesn’t adhere to just one artistic category but it is consistent in giving the viewer a steadfast love and relationship for a smart leading couple that perseveres through good and bad times, and two other couples from the supporting cast that come together to embrace the message on the title of the drama and, at the end of the day, they truly followed their hearts. Overall, this drama is not for an audience that likes to stick to one particular unadulterated category and is bothered by overacted comedy moments, strange or unusual fantasy, and a multi-genre plot; but, if the viewer is open minded and is looking for a drama with very interesting characters and great performances, this drama will surely deliver and entertains. Guess Who I Am is a good comedy with a nice romantic storyline. This drama has other genres mixed up within the comedy so there are episodes that offer mystery, thrill, romance, and overacted funny moments; and that’s where the plot fails. The cast did a very good job within every situation but the jumps between plots interrupted the flow of the stories. The characters, especially when they were all working together, were fun to watch, and the leading couple performed well together and has a nice funny, intellectual, and romantic chemistry. So, what is the problem with this drama? A group of six highly savvy and somewhat quirky individuals are tied together by the string of past tragedies in the leading couple’s lives and they find themselves in the web of the antagonist’s psychopathic plans. Later on, a seventh guy is added into the mixture and the drama turns into a mix of Mr. & Mrs. Smith partners with a Scooby-Doo’s flair. Somehow, even with the nonsensical and useless fantasy aspect of the show, the characters managed to bring about an entertaining drama with their chemistry and antics. Overall, even if no genre is fully developed, the drama is entertaining.

This drama can be found on YouTube under the title: “Revenge to The Devil” Blind wife found husband's conspiracy and took perfect revenge”. Although the subtitles are not the best, which is a disgrace for this drama, the plot is a very good and smartly written revenge drama with a much better ending. The leading lady, Ai Lin / "Erin" deftly played by Jiang Shi Qi, is a strong and intelligent woman that, after been betrayed by her husband in the most heinous way and finding tha her son Dondon has disappeared, she reaffirms herself and steps on a path of revenge. By a chance encounter, she meets Luo Meijuan, a woman living miserably under the shadow of an abusive alcoholic husband, and the two formed a bond and helped each other to get away from their respective malevolent husbands. This drama is very well casted with great performances from the main characters Ai Lin (Jiang Shi Qi) and Wang Dao Tie as Wen Rick, Ai Lin’s Machiavellian second husband and the unscrupulous Inspector General of their police Department. This drama is not a romantic story, it is a great story about a woman who will do anything in order to protect her son and avenge her husband’s betrayal. Overall, the cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the drama is provocative and entertaining, enjoy it!

Rising Feather is a great romance miniseries set in historical times with a well design revenge plot that sends the leading couple into a tug of war while the leading male tries, by all means, to keep the leading lady out of the enemies path while she plunges herself into enemy territory trying to seek revenge against the male lead and a common enemy. There are some twist that keep the viewer interested trying to find out how, with so many misunderstandings, the male lead can keep the leading lady close and safe and, at the same time, allow her to vent her anger and mistrust against him even at the possibility that it will cost him his life. The cast did a great job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple did a phenomenal job performing lovers to enemies to lovers again storyline. Li Jiu Lin as the leading male Yun Huan and Xiao Yu as the leading lady Qing Que / Que Er elevated this miniseries to great drama status with their explosive chemistry; whether they were trying to outsmart one another, when they were contentious, and when they were loving and protecting each other. Overall, this is a very good miniseries with good cinematography, great OST, some decent fighting scenes, and a great cat and mouse game between the leading couple. Enjoy it!

Be with you (2017) is probably one of the most tedious romantic melodramas with full of characters that lack consideration for others and are only concerned with themselves while claiming that they love and care for others. In reality, the supposedly least selfish person, the female lead, was the worst character written in a romantic storyline. Although by the end, she did everything to protect the male lead; she put him through needless emotional torture throughout the whole drama, instead of holding on to him and working together once the truth about past misunderstandings unraveled. Parents on this drama were some of the worst, especially in the Yao family, that father had no redeemable qualities. The leading couple seemed to have had great chemistry on the flashbacks but the leading lady’s facial expressions toward the male lead were cold and distant. Overall, this drama is not recommendable.

My Special Girl is a nice drama of the growth, perseverance, and self-discovery of the female lead Hao Liang / A Dai Jie (played by Ireine Song) and the male lead Gu Jiu Li (played by Leon Zhang). The leading couple started their interactions as boss and a student that gets an internship in his company because she fell in love with Gu Jiu Li at first sight. As they star to work and spend time together, Gu Jiu Li finds himself more and more attracted to Hao Liang. Although Gu Jiu Li takes his time to recognize that he has fallen for Hao Liang, he is always concern about her and is ready to lend a helping hand at a moment’s notice; Hao Liang equally reciprocates with help and concern as their feelings developed into a beautiful committed and unwavering love. The leading couple has good chemistry and there are some really funny moments as they navigate their relationship. The drama has a happy ending but it is insipid. Overall, the drama is nice and entertaining, enjoy it!
