IN A DILEMMA BUT YOU STILL LOVE IT

You know when you're in a relationship with somebody that's stupid but you still love the person anyway plus all the stupidity and all? Well this drama is like that, the plot is so ridiculous and unnecessary but you still love it and that was my dilemma. I just watched it because I started it and needed to see the ending, so many unnecessary and ridiculous scenes which doesn't go well with the drama at all, I gave it a 10 overall because I love both PARKs and the laughter the gangsters gave to me, they did well especially PHS. Every other thing is just so ridiculous and unnecessary,now I'm not saying the drama is bad just that it's so ridiculous but you still have to watch it because of how light it is. The drama also articulated how useless the police are both in fiction and nonfiction. Second male lead and the love triangle was unnecessary (another reason why I say somethings in the drama are unnecessary.

A VERY BAD GOOD DRAMA

It's a good drama with a spectacular casts especially the character of CKH, LDH played his character so well that I forgot about his role in the glory which honestly I didn't like, I think the message the writers really wanted to convey was how the drama was just about the mother and son, how they finally got closure of the father's death years later and the #1 main thing that was denied to them which was justice finally being served and getting back to the two people that hurt them the most. It's all about a mother and son relationship.
Anddddd finally we also get to see the village head wife face for real which I was waiting for to see all through the episodes. It's a 10/10 but I think I'm most comfortable giving it a 9/10 ♥.

NEVER LOOK AT RATINGS OR BAD COMMENTS BEFORE WATCHING ANYTHING

Another reason why you shouldn't look at ratings before watching any drama, this was my first time seeing all the casts in this drama except for the ceo of wusang firm. The only complain I have about this drama is how they made the villain to be a man instead of a woman because let's be honest, miss lawyer Choi rocks, she was the villain in it not Hanseok. She was the mastermind behind everything, Hanseok didn't lift a finger and even I got to say he literally did nothing. I super love this drama, I like how Vincenzo didn't change who he was, he was truly a mafia through and through, he didn't backed down from anything and he always made true his threats. This drama was all about Vincenzo anyway. Also I didn't like the female lead acting much, it was too overacting and too exaggerated. Sad to see it finish, might rewatch another time. I already miss my Mr consigliere and my corn salad family.

Don't drop this

Super love this drama, honestly i cried not because of the drama but because of the song, the lyrics got to me. I wonder how they came up with lyrics to match the plot of the drama. And the protagonist isn't the female lead but the male lead, I honestly thought it was all about Shanggu but towards the end I came to the realisation that it was all about Baijue, and if you watch the end with the waiting for his return and all, you will also understand it. I was angry at the beginning because all of them were just protecting her and making decisions for her when she was obviously the most powerful one of them all, they didn't allow her to show her full potential but just kept her in a bubble all because of love, so I was angry at all the male in the drama and the most stupid one of them all is the heavenly emperor, he got off easily for my liking. So for me this drama is special and I love it. Been a while that I was so invested in a drama because L&R really ruined me for a long time, couldn't focus on any other drama until this ALP. Kudos to all the casts, both the MAINs and SUPPORTING casts. 10/10

BEST DRAMA EVER

Watch it and you will love it like I did, came across it on YouTube, clicked on it and I was hooked right off tye bat's. It has romance, comedy and action as well. Super couples together, a female lead who doesn't depend on the male lead, has a mind of her own and is courageous as well. The male leads and his bodyguards are chaotic 😂 😂. Male lead is hot as well, Chen Zhe Yuan reminds me of the male lead because of how handsome they both are. Don't bother about being skeptical, just watch it and you will fall in love with the casts. Season 2 is coming next year and I can't wait to watch it.

A very good engaging drama

Best drama to watch without feeling like dropping it. Engaging right from the start, My second time of seeing the leads in a drama and Chen Xing Xu came through again, he is literally a good actor with not just a pretty face, this is what happens when you really study drama and learn how to act, no wonder he was the top student in his class. A stellar casts with an amazing story, I didn't want it to end so I watched it for 3 days to delay finishing it because of how amazing the drama is. If you watch 1 episode you will feel like watching more and forget to sleep because of two smart leads put together, both leads are so smart that the villains don't even know what to do with them anymore. Beautifully done right, 10/10.

Unnecessary but Watched

I think the only person that really delivered was CSJ which is why I gave it a 10, she nailed her character to the full, the only time I didn't like her character was when she was being dominated by JDT as a housewife. Although the storyline was overly exaggerated and absurd, it was entertaining and the fashion alone will keep you going even when you feel like giving up on the drama, SSY slay in all her looks being the classy lady she is and CSJ slay as a boss and dominant lady that she is as well. I love how the cast played their characters especially the villains even though some were over the top, and I'm glad KSH won a deasang for her spectacular acting. It should have ended in season 2 which had the perfect ending and the perfect revenge plan.

100/100 Stars, rewatching it again and again (no lies)

What do I say about this beautiful drama? This drama is so realistic, like it's so real and doesn't even have that taste of fiction. And just how much fun were they having on set because it didn't feel like acting but playing, I love their bickering and it was the the thing that kept me going because I thought it will become boring once they start dating but nope, it's the more the merrier. I still don't know why some think this drama is bad when it isn't, it dealt with with what each of us pass through in our daily lives, be it love, friendship, loss, control and obsession and that's why I said it is realistic. If you're thinking of not watching or dropping it when I guess you want to miss out on a great drama by great actors,like Bai Lu can really ace any role she's giving and let's not forget about Leo Lu, that man is so damn talented, both are one great versatile actors and I hope to see their future projects together in the future.

One of the best realistic drama ever with the best kissing scenes

Honestly never seen a more realistic drama than this one everything was done perfectly. Being a celebrity really doesn't make things easy for one in this life, this drama also shows how celebrities live their lives, their fear, how they love and deal with their traumas as well. You get to see the fan culture. Notany will understand or like this drama but honestly the fact that it's so realistic should be one of the main reasons you should watch this drama. The actors played their parts seriously, be it when they are themselves or in each other's body. Liang Jie is really one versatile actress and her Co lead isn't far behind. It was a perfect drama with the perfect casts as well.

More badass female lead and strong couple drama that will stay strong forever please

Looking for a drama that has everything you want in it? Then yes this drama is for you. It wasn't even in my to watch list at all, I mistakenly clicked on it on YouTube and then I was hooked. The leads are so cool and not stupid but actually do understand and compliment each other. This drama is really good, it has everything you wished for in a drama, I'm glad that I gave it a go as usual whenever I see comments. Hope people will give this drama a chance and not let other people opinions spoil something you will like or enjoy. I did very much enjoyed it and will be rewatching it in the future.

Ridiculousness and a drunk drama

For it was a wasted time, how did people muster up the courage to rewatch this drama more than once? I finished it because I don't really like dropping a drama that I already started. I guess it was the norm then in 2013 or 2014 to make female leads stupid, weak and cringe in drama, just like this one. The female was super annoying and had no respect for herself. Let's not talk about the alcohol in the drama, no episode without an alcohol and that our female lead doesn't get drunk. I hated it because of alcohol because let's be realistic alcohol doesn't make everything OK. The drama portrayed so many things. It didn't give the female lead a chance to grow up and be dependent on herself. Then ilthey were making dramas like this and unfortunately in this new decade it's just another norm albeit differently in another style. They all knew how to act but the storyline was useless and unnecessary.

Life is Joyful

Just finished this today and i decided to write my thought, i thought it was a pretty solid drama until i got to the last episode,it did broke my heart but i did already come to terms with it after she got her justice and then i cried. The last episode was the only episode that i got to shed tears after laughing all through the first episode, it was really an emotional coaster for me because i did fell in love with the two female leads especially the ghost girl, life is a lesson because at times you will want to be good and at times you will also want to be bad. Being a good samaritan can also backfire on you like in the case of our ghost girl. If you want to watch this drama but the comments are putting you off, i implode you to watch it for yourself and not for what others are saying, i too was being skeptical about watching it but i decided to foregone the comments and reviews and just watch it for myself and it seems i made the right decision. I have no bad feelings on this drama because i understood it point blank, there was nothing to be done since she was already dead except to get justice for her which she got and then she moved on which was the right thing to do giving her circumstances. It's a good drama with comedy,romance and thriller as well so for me it's an ok drama with no regret. I love the male chefs as well,they contributed to my laughter a lot plus the ghost girl behaviour. Watch it and be happy, we don't need to criticise everything just because we don't understand something.

SWEETNESS OVERLLOAD

Too much sugar is really bad for the body and this drama proved it lol🤣🤣😂. I got toothache because of how sweet it was,nothing intense about it lol, everything was just too pretty,too perfect and too sweet. Hope people will give it a chance like i did even though it was too sweet. The is the most cheesiest and fluffy drama ever lol, it reminded me of BA but totally different from it as well. I wish relationships were this perfect in real life lol. The drama finished in episode 18 (in my opinion) so i think they just added the rest to prolong it even though it was really not necessary at all. I mean how can something like this exist in real life lol, the most perfect boyfriend you will ever get? Please!!!
I was going to stop watching it at one time because of how sweet it was but since i don't like dropping dramas so i just pushed through until i got to episode 18 which cracked me up for real and shows me something for the first time, that episode woke me up and made me concluded that it was suppose to end there. This is my first time of watching both leads drama, their visual were on point, although female lead acting is at time overbearing and overboard but i still like her. The supporting cast did their job well too albeit a bit too much with too much sugar as well lol. All in all for me it was a good drama, i loved it and hope people see it too because it need more viewers and comments on YouTube.

Perfectly played out

I don't think people really understand this drama because all I'm seeing is complains. Don't watch a drama and start complaining if you aren't going to understand the story that it was telling. I didn't like pt1 but as I began watching pt2 it became obvious to me what the story was all about. I think Right from the start it was obvious to us but we choosed not to see it. First of all, the main theme has always been the seven stars, the king born with the 7 stars, the ice stone and Jonyoen. I will try to break it down if I can.
JBY was never existed, she died when she was in the womb, for that reason JS was reborn through her with the help of the ice stone since the ice stone belonged to her which was why she was able to sense and retrieve it from the lake, it was also why she wanted to destroy it because she knew the effect it will have on humans with greed. She came back to stop the future she saw in her vision.
The seven stars are JU, the person he was when his energy was closed and after it was opened which made him also the king as he was a product of the ice stone as well being that the ice stone is a powerful object. The other stars are all Jang UK friends, PDG, SY, the crown prince, Jin Bo Yoen and her sister JCY. The last star is CY aka Naksu. CY (Naksu) was destined to meet JU being that both fathers were best friends and their children would have met and fall in love with each other which master Lee also to be in conclusion of.
JU was a king because of the alchemy of souls in which he was born, JBY was reborn as a star to help him stop the calamity while Naksu (calling her Naksu because it's easy) was born as a star to be his shadow.
Jonyoen played a theme part in the sense that it's the most powerful place, so powerful that an object like the ice stone and the fire bird could be store there, which was why Jin Mu was obsessed in obtaining it or gaining access to it. Jonyoen collapsing would have been a disaster which we almost saw happened.
People wondering what what happened to mudeok soul or JBY soul since Naksu took over. In Pt1 while naksu was trying to shift soul into another woman but got to enter mudeok body is because JBY made it so, both were stars and both had a role to play in the king (JU) coming into his power. In pt1 Naksu got to live as mudeok/JBY and in pt2 JBY got to live in naksu body. Been that the first priestess JS was never met to be born but she had to be born to see the future come to pass and stop it that was why she was able to leave at the end and gave way to the light and shadow which was Naksu to live because she never really got to live.
I summarised it well in my head than I did writing it out, but all in all I really understand the drama and loved it. I guess the problem is the confusion of it all, in my own opinion it shouldn't have been divided, while watching it I refused to think of it as pt1 and pt2 and just sat it as 3YearsLater in my head which made me understand it better and got the bigger picture. I honestly loved the 3 years later more than the first part.
