In spite of Yanzi's word Duan Wu decides to stay back in Yangzhou to live well & not to get immersed with her past misery(heart broke).

Turning point !!

Vulnerability of Yanzi after hearing his sister's death & a simple hug from Duan Wu calms him down. This is the first turning point that changed Duan Wu's attitude towards Yan Zijing. They have both suffered before so they share a mutual sympathy and understanding.
